  • The purpose of this study is to analyse the structural relationships, direct and indirect effects between children's academic stress, peer attachment, parental achievement pressure and career maturity. This study uses panel data from a total of 1,357 elementary school students who participated in the 13th Child Panel Study of the Korea Child Care Policy Institute. The data were analysed using SPSS 24 and AMOS 24.0 programs. The results showed that children's academic stress was negatively related to peer attachment, positively related to parental achievement pressure, and negatively related to career maturity. Each variable was found to have a direct effect, and academic stress had an indirect effect on career maturity through the mediation of peer attachment and parental achievement pressure. In conclusion, it is recommended that school social work support that considers the causal relationship of all variables is necessary to improve children's career maturity.

  • The objective of this study is to investigate the process of development of social work and divide it historically during the Korean Modern Times. At first, I investigated this period's "societal" situation (political, economical, social situation) which is closely related to social work and made a historical division. And I wrote down the social welfare policy and social services concretely and I interpreted this period's historical meaning. At the end of the Cho-Sun dynasty, although a modern social work movement had come about naturally in the Korean peninsula, it was nearly destroyed by the Japanese aggression. However, it could have expanded consistently and come to maturity because of a national self-awakening and peoples' vigorous participation after the 3 1 national movement. But unfortunately, as the social work come to be exploited by the Japanese Imperialist powers, it lost its purity its essential purpose and was changed. After World War II, no one was made to take responsibility for those historical facts, and under the name of Social Welfare many ordinary citizens became scapegoats, and passed silently over to the period of American military occupation which was another time of transition in the Korean peninsula. There have been few studies undertaken concerning social welfare during the Japanese occupation. These studies will help to indicate what influence the Japanese had on the development of Korean social welfare after the Japanese occupation. I anticipate many studies on this subject will follow.

To assess effects of 3 groups, pre-test and post-test were carried out. Results showed that the participants of REBT group showed more self-efficacy, social efficacy and total self-efficacy scores than them of 2 control groups. And they had tendency to have more sense of reality, preparedness and total career attitude maturity scores. • This study aimed to develop indicators that can measure the digital transformation performance of science and technology information construction and sharing systems by utilizing the Digital Curation Maturity Models. For digital transformation, it is necessary to consider not only simple service improvement but also organizational and business changes. In this study, we aimed to develop a model for measuring the digital transformation of KISTI, Korea's representative science and technology information service organization. KISTI has already carried out BPR work for digital transformation and borrowed the concept of a maturity model. However, in BPR, there is no method to measure the result. Therefore, in this paper, we developed an index to measure digital transformation based on the maturity model. Indicator development was carried out in two ways: model development and evaluation. Cases for model construction were made through a comprehensive review of existing KISTI and various domestic and foreign cases. The models before verification were technology (37), data (45), strategy (18), organization (36), and (social)influence (14) based on the major categories. After verification using confirmatory factor analysis, the model is classified as technology (20 / 17 indicators dropped), data (36 / 9 indicators dropped), strategy (18 / maintenance), organization(30 / 6 indicators dropped), and (social) influence (13 indicators / 1 indicator dropped).

  • This study analyzed the perception of equality of opportunity among young people in Korean society using data from the 1st, 2nd, and 4th supplementary surveys of the Korea Education and Employment Panel II (KEEP II). The direction of analysis is to explore whether family background and academic activities (career maturity, academic achievement) during high school, economic situation, social relationships, and level of personal competency during adolescence are linked to the perception of equal opportunity. The analysis method established a structural equation model with the perception of equality of opportunity as the final dependent variable and confirmed the causal relationship using the LISREL program. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the factors affecting young people's perception of equality of opportunity are the economic situation at the time of youth and the level of personal competency. The results of the study confirm the awareness of equality of opportunity among young people entering Korean society, and are expected to be used as information needed to create a social foundation so that they can play a responsible role as members of society.

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the educational effects of career guidance classes, which are now included in regular course offerings by universities. To this end, the self-efficacy of college students regarding career decisions and their degree of career maturity was measured as effect variables. The subjects of the study included 33 sophomores who took 15 weeks of career guidance classes provided by four-year universities. Pretest-posttest design and the paired t-test were conducted for verifying the differences before and after taking career guidance courses. According to the results of the analysis, first, university students' self-efficacy in career decision-making was higher after taking the career guidance courses, indicating a statistically significant difference. Second, the t-value for the difference before and after taking the career guidance courses was indicating that there was a slight statistically significant improvement. These results are meaningful in that they proved that career guidance courses in higher education had the educational effects of improving self-efficacy in career path decisions and the career maturity of college students.
