  • The purpose of this study is to find the continuance intention to use for reCAPTCHA technology which has information security and social contributions (decrypting archives) according to the user's pro-social level. In this research, reCAPTCHA technique generally gives users to information security and decrypting archives. However, as a result of preliminary survey, most users were not even aware of information security and social contributions (decrypting archives) functions. Therefore, in this research, we will measure with two kinds of focus. The first is the assumption that there will be also a difference in the continuance use depending pro-social level of the user of information technology, second we explain only the function of information security to the first group as well as decrypting archives to the second group. Generally, pro-social means that degree of understanding and supporting to the other people's interest, actions, needs, help, and care. In this research, we assume that if users have a low level of others care, they might evaluate that reCAPTCHA technology's social contributions is low. While they have a high level of others care, they recognize reCAPTCHA technology's social contribution is high and then they tend to use this technology continuously. Through this research, we finally find the most efficient way to increase the degree of continuance use of information technology.

  • This study examined the moderating effect of self-forgiveness on the relationship between self-criticism and social anxiety among male and female college students. This study included 441 college students (211 male and 230 female students) with an average age of 22.2. Pearson correlation analysis and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted. As a result, the moderating effect of self-forgiveness on the relationship between self-criticism and social anxiety was significant for male students. A higher level of self-criticism tended to result in a higher level of social anxiety that was strengthened in the group of lower level of self-forgiveness versus a tendency for self-criticism to increase male social anxiety was weaker in the group with a higher level of self-forgiveness. However, the moderating effect of self-forgiveness was not significant in female students and only the main effect of self-criticism on social anxiety was significant. The results provide a basis to understand the psychological processes of social anxiety in college students. The results suggest the necessity to intervene and strengthen self-forgiveness as a protective factor to alleviate the negative effects of self-blame on social anxiety in male college students.

  • Based on the perspective of consumers and the method of value engineering, this paper uses "CSR expectation deviate level" to measure corporate social responsibility, and discusses the influence of corporate social responsibility on financial performance and its action path. This paper collected the questionnaire survey data of 878 consumers and the panel data of 98 listed companies from 2009 to 2012. The empirical results show that: (1) Consumers pay more attention to products and services, charity, environmental protection and their responsibilities to employees, and less attention to their responsibilities to shareholders or creditors and partners; (2) Corporate social responsibility is negatively correlated with financial performance, and corporate marketing ability plays a moderating role in it. That is, the smaller the gap between the level of corporate social responsibility fulfilled by enterprises and consumers' expectations, the better the financial performance of enterprises, which also reminds enterprises that they need to rationally allocate corporate social responsibility resources and constantly cultivate their own marketing capabilities, so as to better meet the level of corporate social responsibility expected by consumers. The value engineering method quantifies consumers' value perception of corporate social responsibility, which has a certain practical guiding role. Of course, there are some limitations in this paper, and future research can further explore the potential impact mechanism.

Design/methodology/approach Two primary sources were used for data collection. From Kickstarter, the largest U.S.-based crowdfunding platform, this study obtained 15,716 crowdfunding projects and individual-level social capital. For country-level social capital, the social capital index from the 2016 Legatum Prosperity Index was utilized. By matching individual- and country-level social capital for each crowdfunding project, this research estimates the role of social capital in entrepreneurial activities at the individual and country level using the Poisson regression and the negative binomial regression. Findings Individual-level social capital measured by the number of Facebook friends, the number of other crowdfunding projects that a crowdfunding project founder invested in, and the word count of the description of a crowdfunding project are positively associated with the number of crowdfunding projects created by founders. The country-level social capital measured by aggregated social capital index is also positively associated with the number of crowdfunding projects created by founders. Both individual- and country-level social capital have a positive impact on entrepreneurial activities in terms of the creation of new crowdfunding projects.

The subjects of personal level analysis were the elder who are over 65-years od age, and they were total 3,297 people, and while the subjects of national level analysis were total 9 OECD countries. For the data analysis, hierarchial linear model(HLM) analysis was done by using HML 7.0 program. As a result of analysis, First, for the elderly's happiness, they should improve self-disposition, members of social groups, and social class. Second, the old-age pension and the survivor's pension had no meaningful effect on the happiness. but it was found that self - disposition, social class, gender, and health status showed meaningful interaction effect according to old - age pension, survivor pension, per capita GDP, income inequality. This suggests that efforts to improve the happiness of the elderly should be made at the individual level and the national level at the same time.

Instruments were the Social Support Appraisal Scale, the Self-Report Coping Scale, and the Teenage Inventory of Social Skills. Results showed that children used different coping strategies by the level of peer support. Children with more peer support were more active in seeking social support and in solving peer conflict. Children with more problems in peer relationships used more avoidance strategies such as internalization and externalization. Children with a high level of social skills were more likely to use approach strategies in peer conflict while children with a low level of social skills were more likely to employ avoidance strategies. Internalization was the most important strategy in explaining inappropriate peer relationships. For girls, social skill was the most essential variable in their peer relationships.
