In pace with the development of network technology at lightning speed, social networks have been extensively applied in our lives. However, as social networks retain a large number of users' sensitive information, the openness of this information makes social networks vulnerable to attacks by malicious attackers. To preserve the link privacy of individuals in social networks, an uncertain graph method based on node random response is devised, which satisfies differential privacy while maintaining expected data utility. In this method, to achieve privacy preserving, the random response is applied on nodes to achieve edge modification on an original graph and node differential privacy is introduced to inject uncertainty on the edges. Simultaneously, to keep data utility, a divide and conquer strategy is adopted to decompose the original graph into many sub-graphs and each sub-graph is dealt with separately. In particular, only some larger sub-graphs selected by the exponent mechanism are modified, which further reduces the perturbation to the original graph. The presented method is proven to satisfy differential privacy. The performances of experiments demonstrate that this uncertain graph method can effectively provide a strict privacy guarantee and maintain data utility.

Social engineering attack means to get information of Social engineering attack means to get information of opponent without technical attack or to induce opponent to provide information directly. In particular, social engineering does not approach opponents through technical attacks, so it is difficult to prevent all attacks with high-tech security equipment. Each company plans employee education and social training as a countermeasure to prevent social engineering. However, it is difficult for a security officer to obtain a practical education(training) effect, and it is also difficult to measure it visually. Therefore, to measure the social engineering threat, we use the results of social engineering training result to calculate the risk by system asset and propose a attack graph based probability. The security officer uses the results of social engineering training to analyze the security threats by asset and suggests a framework for quick security response. Through the framework presented in this paper, we measure the qualitative social engineering threats, collect system asset information, and calculate the asset risk to generate probability based attack graphs. As a result, the security officer can graphically monitor the degree of vulnerability of the asset's authority system, asset information and preferences along with social engineering training results. It aims to make it practical for companies to utilize as a key indicator for establishing a systematic security strategy in the enterprise.

A hot-issued research topic in the workflow intelligence arena is the emerging topic of "workflow-supported organizational social networks." These specialized social networks have been proposed to primarily represent the process-driven work-sharing and work-collaborating relationships among the workflow-performers fulfilling a series of workflow-related operations in a workflow-supported organization. We can discover those organizational social networks, and visualize its analysis results as organizational knowledge. In this paper, we are particularly interested in how to visualize the degrees of closeness centralities among workflow-performers by proposing a graphical representation schema based on the Graph Markup Language, which is named to ccWSSN-GraphML. Additionally, we expatiate on the functional expansion of the closeness centralization formulas so as for the visualization framework to handle a group of workflow procedures (or a workflow package) with organizational workflow-performers.

As the usage of social network services increases, event information occurring offline is spreading more rapidly. Therefore, studies have been conducted to detect events by analyzing social data. In this paper, we propose a graph based event detection scheme considering user interest in social networks. The proposed scheme constructs a keyword graph by analyzing tweets posted by users. We calculates the interest measure from users' social activities and uses it to identify events by considering changes in interest. Therefore, it is possible to eliminate events that are repeatedly posted without meaning and improve the reliability of the results. We conduct various performance evaluations to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed event detection scheme.
Nowadays various public data have been serviced to the public. Through the opening of public data, the transparency and effectiveness of public policy developed by governments are increased and users can lead to the growth of industry related to public data. Since end-users of using public data are citizens, it is very important for everyone to figure out the meaning of public data using proper visualization techniques. In this work, to indicate the significance of widespread public data, we consider UN voting record as public data in which many people may be interested. In general, it has high utilization value by diplomatic and educational purposes, and is available in public. If we use proper data mining and visualization algorithms, we can get an insight regarding the voting patterns of UN members. To visualize, it is necessary to measure the voting similarity values among UN members and then a social graph is created by the similarity values. Next, using a graph layout algorithm, the social graph is rendered on the screen. If we use the existing method for visualizing the social graph, it is hard to understand the meaning of the social graph because the graph is usually dense. To improve the weak point of the existing social graph visualization, we propose Friend-Matching, Friend-Rival Matching, and Bubble Heap algorithms in this paper. We also validate that our proposed algorithms can improve the quality of visualizing social graphs displayed by the existing method. Finally, our prototype system has been released in http://datalab.kunsan.ac.kr/politiz/un/. Please, see if it is useful in the aspect of public data utilization.
Recently, many social networking services using mobile devices are spread. Also, many studies based on location and time are increasing. However, existing studies have been difficult to resolve queries by place, time, and events. In the paper, we propose time and space modeling method for social services. We propose Human Activity Graph and Quad Relation Factors through time, place, event, and social activity of users, and we design the database scheme for data collect and analysis.

Recently, various graph data have been utilized in various fields such as social networks and citation networks. As the graph changes dynamically over time, it is necessary to manage the graph historical data for tracking changes and retrieving point-in-time graphs. Most historical data changes partially according to time, so unchanged data is stored redundantly when data is stored in units of time. In this paper, we propose a graph history storage management method to minimize the redundant storage of time graphs. The proposed method continuously detects the change of the graph and stores the overlapping subgraph in intersection snapshot. Intersection snapshots are connected by a number of delta snapshots to maintain change data over time. It improves space efficiency by collectively managing overlapping data stored in intersection snapshots. We also linked intersection snapshots and delta snapshots to retrieval the graph at that point in time. Various performance evaluations are performed to show the superiority of the proposed scheme.

As online social networks are used as a critical medium for modern people's information sharing and relationship, their users are increasing rapidly every year. This not only increases usage but also surpasses the existing media in terms of information credibility. Therefore, emerging marketing strategies are deliberately attacking social networks. As a result, public opinion, which should be formed naturally, is artificially formed by online attacks, and many people trust it. Therefore, many studies have been conducted to detect agents attacking online social networks. In this paper, we analyze the trends of researches attempting to detect such online social network attackers, focusing on researches using social network graph characteristics. While the existing content-based techniques may represent classification errors due to privacy infringement and changes in attack strategies, the graph-based method proposes a more robust detection method using attacker patterns.

On this paper, we show the way of forming graph data structure via setting an edge between Korean actors if they appeared in the same movie. From this graph, we calculate the 'centralities' (which declared on this paper) for each actor, then examine distribution by ranking the actors of the centralities and analyze the change of the actor who is/was center on the graph by years. Finally, we suggest the way that sets the numerically Range limits on social group.

Recommendation systems research is a subfield of information retrieval, as these systems recommend appropriate items to users during their visits. Appropriate recommendation results will help users save time searching while increasing productivity at work, travel, or shopping. The problem becomes more difficult when the items are geographical locations on the ground, as they are associated with a wealth of contextual information, such as geographical location, opening time, and sequence of related locations. Furthermore, on social networking platforms that allow users to check in or express interest when visiting a specific location, their friends receive this signal by spreading the word on that online social network. Consideration should be given to relationship data extracted from online social networking platforms, as well as their impact on the geolocation recommendation process. In this study, we compare the similarity of geographic locations based on their distance on the ground and their correlation with users who have checked in at those locations. When calculating feature embeddings for users and locations, social relationships are also considered as attention signals. The similarity value between location and correlation between users will be exploited in the overall architecture of the recommendation model, which will employ graph convolution networks to generate recommendations with high precision and recall. The proposed model is implemented and executed on popular datasets, then compared to baseline models to assess its overall effectiveness.
