우리나라의 소리문화 창조를 위한 사운드스케이프 디자인 운동의 전개와 실천 전략 (The Practical Strategies and Developments of Soundscape Design Movement for Creation of Sound Culture in Korea)

  • The aim of this study is to find out directions for development of soundscape design for creating a unique sound culture in a region, and to search for the practical strategies toward a soundscape design movement in Korea. For these specific aims, several components in soundscape through considering from original conception and ideology of soundscape, such as the concept of soundscape, the meaning of soundscape design, the categories of soundscape researh : keynote sounds, sound signals, and soundmarks, and the primary problems and strategies in the world soundscape project(WSP) are investigated. The result shows that it is necessary to practice several ways in our housing life, that is, the recovery of our coenesthesia, development of the residential environments considering the soundscape, revitalization of community consciousness, rehabilitation of the sensibility, and identity excavation of sound culture, and it is very important to spread out a plan for integrating the following four categories of strategies : conceptual, educational, political, and social.

빈곤가정 아동의 환경지각 연구 (The Study of Poverty Children's Environmental Perception)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the environment of poverty children as reported by the children on a questionnaire. The conception of the environment was divided into the physical environment and the sociopsychological environment. The dimensions of the physical environment included household, cultural, and play conditions. The sociopsychological environment included structural (family values, family relationships, and the reinforcement system) and process variables(affect, care, and communication). For the purpose of this survey was administered to 122 children living in a poverty area and 102 children living in a middle-high income area. Statistics used for data analysis were frequency, distribution, percentile, mean and one-way ANOVA. Major findings showed that (1) The physical environment as reported by the poverty children was meager compared with that of children in the middle-high income area: the households were more overcrowded, and cultural conditions, play materials, and space was more limited. (2) The Structural conditions of the sociopsychological environment as perceived by poverty children were more material and physical than that of children in the middle-high income area: family values were oriented more toward materialism: family relationships were more negative and distant: and the reinforcement system was based more on material reward and physical punishment. (3) Process variables were perceived by poverty children as more laissez-faire and rigid; the parents neglected their children and communicated unilaterally more than the middle-high income parents. (4) Poverty children's perception of the causes of poverty and wealth were perceived as personal and social factors.

한국의례복식의 기호학적 분석(1) -조선시대 혼례복식을 중심으로- (A Semiotic Approach to Korean Ceremonial Dress -Focusing on Wedding Dress in Choson Dynasty)

  • This article aims, by analyzing structurally the codification of dress sign in Korean society, the signifying system of the codes and their message communicated, to make clear a signifying structure that would be codified through the relationship between abstract concepts and real condition of dress. I used the semiotic theory of Ferdinand de Saussure′s conception on structuralismly the codification, cultural semiology of Roland Barthes and Myung-Sook Han′s formula of dress structure as tools analyse may objective of wedding dress of folks in Choson Dynasty, which has been successive our traditional Korean wedding dress. My results of the study are : The procedure of wedding ceremony in Choson Dynasty was presented in texts like Juga-garye, Sarye-peonram and Kukjo-orye, its dress system has been more emphasized on language, and aspect of social system, than parole, one of individual realization. In addition, the meanings of marrage such as "Oneness of bride and bridegroom", "Mixture of two sexes", "Blessing of good luck", were included in the signified like the style, pattern and color of the wedding dress, and specially, pattern and color, the articulated morphemes, was emphasized, When we combinated terms of dress in Choson Dynasty with syntagmatic, regarding their list as paradigmatic, it will signify a wedding dress, and according to combinating ways, it amy be divided as sign of dresses of bride and bridgeroom by sex or king, gentry and common people by class.   • The expansion of media art has not only developed the digital technology but also given lots of environmental evolution to improve various fields of design as the main topic of the 21st century. The purpose of this study is aimed at proposing the new design that integrates fashion accessaries with media art technology. This will be done by understanding the social environment in digital ages and studying technology of design based on a variety of literature about changes in our society, neo value, vision, culture and art with fundamental notion of media art. First stage for this study, put an idea into just fashion accessary design because it is not sufficient to incoporate fashion and media art technology. The presented OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diodes) in this study is a kind of display to be in a limelight in the next generation and can be applied to various field of design. media art simultaneously moved into the scope of artistic debates. As a result, we can found that the use of audiovisual introduced numerous new aspects to the conceptual and aesthetic engagement with questions of conception. Today, the presented forms of art and inter-action from the closed -circuit work to interactive media art installations to open process-exist as parallel possibilities.

만화의 영화화 흐름에 관한 연구 (A Study on Comics Content into the Film Trend)

  • 만화가 가지는 원작산업으로서의 특징과 영화산업의 발전에 따라 만화원작의 영화화가 최근 늘고 있다. 이와 같은 현상은 역사적으로 소설과 연극에서 차용되었던 영화원작 소스가 만화적 감성시대로 접어들면서 만화로 상당부분 이동했음을 보여주는 것이다. 또한 2차원의 만화를 영상작업으로 전환한다는 의미 이외에도 장르 간, 매체 간 호환성에 주목할 필요가 있다. 앞으로 만화가 가지는 풍부한 소재와 매력적인 캐릭터, 그리고 배경과 인물 이미지들은 영화자체의 외연확장 추세와 더불어 앞으로도 두 매체 간 상호작용을 가속화 시킬 것이다.

알프레드 히스콕의 스릴러 영활에 나타난 복식의 상징성 (A Study on the Symbolism of Costumes Appeared in Aflred Hitchcock′s Film)

  • Hitchcock, "a master of the thriller" "leading figure of thriller", was famous for his work style. He never starts filming until completing a perfect conception in his mind before shooting. He started filming after getting a perfect filming plan adding a picture even one detailed shot picture. Also the movie costumes was not an exception in his movie. He put more main object to express a symbolic meanings by recreating movie costumes which were fit to drama′s subject than function which spoke for contemporary popularity also he guides actors to put on the movie costumes examined previously to shape a definite visual character in that works. This research intends not only to look into symbolic and expressive means of dresses through the movie costumes on thriller appeared in Hitchcock′s movie, but also the comprehension width by grasping importance of the movie-costume and dress image in the movie. Hitchock made about 55 movies, mostly thriller movies, from Number 13(1922) n unfinished work to family plot(1976) ones posthumous work. This research examined his the second half of term works(after 1950) such s Rear Window(1954), Vertigo(1958), Psycho(1960), Torn Curtain(19660, Topaz(1969) and Frenzy(1972) which are generally familiar to the public. In conclusion, we can find that the thriller movie costumes as well s the other movie and appeared a character of the film′s characters, social rank, economic level, personality. But expecially, a costume of Hitchcock′s thriller movie can be contained a characteristic factor of a kind of five.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the feature and phenomena of women's costume in Choson dynasty by the approach of semiotics. In order to do so, F Saussure's linguistic symbol theory, C. Peirce's conception on semiology theory and cultural semiology of R. Barthes ware used as tool to analyse traditional women's costumes in $Chos\v{o}n$ dynasty. And I choose basic conceptions based on their semiotic theory. which were langue & parole. dennotation & connotation, paradigm & syntagm, code, and analysed. structure of sign, communication though the non-language. The fashion of the $Chos\v{o}n$ dynasty contains various meaning as sign symbol system and makes the communication possible as it is mentioned above. We nay understand the sign symbol system described in the fashion sign by analysing the structure and meaning operation of sign on the basis of social, political, and idealistic background of the times, to understand the polysemy quality of the fashion.

가정폭력에 관한 연구 -아내 학대를 중심으로- (A Study of Family Violence -On the Basis of the wife Abuse-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the realities of the husband's violence, to develop a scale to identify women who are victims of wife abuse and to provide evidence of the scale's validity. The Instrument entitled the Wife Abuse Inventory (WAI) and conflict Tactics Scale(CTS), are administered to 511 women who lives in Taegu area. The main results are as follows; 1) The CTS analysis shows the 42.5% of the sampled house wives are suffered minor violence and 9/0% are suffered violence form husband. 2) The WAI is factor analyzed to examine factor components within the scale. An examination of the rotated solutions suggested that WAI is composed 10 factors. These factor is labeled men's conception of supremency and aggression propensity, communication, economic difficulties and frustration, social activities, jealousy, children rearing, intimacy, family relationships in laws , affection, difference of culture. 3) an analysis of variance show the group mean score of the violence group and the mean score of the non-violence group on the WAI to be significantly different(P<.001). A discriminant analysis produce a significant discriminant function (P<.001). Using WAI scores as the discriminating variable, 81,15% of the violence and non-violence subjects are classified into their appropriate groups. This finding indicates that the WAI is a reliable device for screening violence and nonviolence group.

애니메이션의 이중적 기호작용 원리 - 구조주의 기호학의 관점에서 - (The Principle of Dual Semiotic Process in Animation - Within Structuralism Semiotics -)

  • 본 논문에서는 구조주의 기호학자인 바르트의 기호학적 이론에 근거하여, 기호학을 구성하는 요소들과 애니메이션 텍스트에 나타나는 기호학의 원리를 알아보았다. 이러한 접근은 고전 기호학의 도식적 분석에서 벗어나, 애니메이션이 대중에게 효과적으로 메시지를 전달하는 원리의 분석을 가능하게 한다. 또한 사회적 작용을 고려하지 않는 순수 미학의 맹목적 관점을 경계할 수 있다. 애니메이션 텍스트를 바르트의 구조주의 기호학적 관점에서 한마디로 표현하자면 "애니메이션 텍스트는 하나의 기호가 갖는 이중적인 역할"이다. 이는 "대중매체의 애니메이션은 사회를 개념화하고 의미화 하는 특별한 과정이다"라고 말할 수 있다. 다시 말하면 "지배질서가 자신을 자연적 질서로 여겨지도록 대중을 동화하는 과정"이라는 것이다.

전통적 교육이론에 따른 유아교육용 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 설계 방안 (Multimedia Contents Design for Early Childhood Education to Traditional Education Theory)

  • This study investigates design strategies for improving the educational quality of multimedia contents for early childhood education. It emphasizes both traditional education theory and developmental aspects in its exploration of interactive and educational qualitative multimedia contents for early children. Accordingly, for an effective early childhood education, it is necessary to experience of the playful learning for the conception of ideas and the understanding of the social life. Because this study 1) possibility of multimedia contents for early childhood education, 2) computer application method for early childhood education, 3) examines used in the designing of multimedia contents for early childhood education according to traditional education theory. Multimedia early childhood education system is possible to organize information such as test, image, sound and video based on hyperlink system. I use Microsoft's Ms-office and Asymetrix's ToolBook software that are useful for hyperlink and parameter. Multimedia contents and other pages are used by Dynamic Data Exchange(DDE). Therefore multimedia contents for early childhood education is a useful tool for students of early childhood education department, parents, and children.
