Given that less attention has been paid to teachers than students in mathematics education, this study attempted to provide theoretical foundations to understand better mathematics teacher learning and teaching practice in transition. First, this paper summarized three conceptions of teacher learning on the basis of the relationships of knowledge and practice followed by several implications to mathematics teacher education. Second, this paper provided a brief overview of cognition as situated, social, and distributed. This paper then explored new implications and issues about mathematics teacher learning that the overview brought to light. It is expected for teacher educators and researchers to participate in rich discussion of many implicit issues about teacher learning that this paper begins to raise.

In today's society, the experience of social exclusion caused by being rejected or ignored, leads to negative social consequences, such as aggressive behavior, self-defeating thoughts, and diminished intelligence. This study is performed to examine 1) how two types of social exclusion, rejection and ignorance, affect conspicuous consumption and prosocial behavior and 2) how embodied cognition formed with a firmed muscle moderates their causal relationships. For this purpose, half of the participants in ignorance and rejection conditions were asked to grip their hands to form a firmed muscle (firmed muscle group) while the other half (control group) were not. After the manipulation of embodied cognition, their conspicuous consumption and intention of prosocial behavior were measured. Results show that, in ignorance condition, the firmed muscle group exhibited lower conspicuous consumption and higher intention of prosocial behavior than the control group while, in rejection condition, there were no differences in conspicuous consumption and intention of social behavior between firmed muscle and control groups. Findings indicate that, in the case of social exclusion caused by ignorance, firmed muscle improves self-efficacy, which may increase prosocial behavior.

MoCA-K was applied in order to examine the cognitive abilities of the subjects and K-ACS and LSNS-18 were applied to confirm the activity participation level and social network index. Results : As a result of examining the relationship between cognition and activity participation, various sub-abilities(spatio-temporal abilities, vocabulary abilities, attention, abstract thinking) of cognition had a significant influence on instrumental activities of daily living, leisure activities and social activities. In addition, all of the sub - abilities of cognition showed a significant correlation with sub-elements of social network. We suggest that measures for enhancing participation and social participation of the elderly with mild cognitive impairment are provided through follow up studies.
Many parents recognize the importance of social development during early childhood but they feel difficulty in helping their children develop socially. Recently, many researchers have suggested that maternal cognition is an important factor on their parenting behavior and children's development. Thus, this study attempted to investigate the mother's perception and attribution of parenting efficacy for children's social development. Total 247 mothers of three to five year-old children reported self-questionnaire consisting of Melson, Ladd, & Hsu(l993)'s Perceived Difficulty at Parenting Tasks, Criniic & Greenberg(1990)'s Parenting Daily Hassles and Abdin(1990)'s Parenting Alliance Inventory. Also, 82 of the subject's children were individually tested with McGinnis & Goldstein(1990)'s Skill Situations Measure. The major results were as follows: 1) Mothers' parenting efficacy for children's social development was significantly related with child's age, mother's education and the father's cooperation of parenting. 2) Mothers' perceived parenting efficacy was significantly correlated with some dimension of the child's actual social skill (i.e., maintenance of peer relation). 3) Mothers of young children were more likely to attribute to their children for their parenting efficacy than those of old children. 4) Mothers were more likely attribute to their children than themselves when they perceive parenting difficult. 5) Mothers who perceive parenting easy and attributed it to their children had less parenting stress than those of attributing it to themselves.

Third, the moderating effect of teacher-child interaction level between the stay hours and child development were also significant. The results showed that young children's stay hours effected their language, cognitive, and social development and teacher-child interactions mediated these effects.

The data was collected from a sample of 450 women in their 20s, 30s, and 40s via quota sampling from a selfreported online survey in 2023. The measurement comprised the attitudes toward the general and fashion-specific climate environments, Rokeach's 18 terminal values, Holbrook's 8 consumer values regarding fashion products, climate environmental knowledge related to fashion, the cognition concerning the climate crisis, and several demographic variables. Descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and correlations were applied to the data using SPSS. As a result, two factors were determined for the attitudes toward the general and fashion-specific climate environments, respectively: social and personal. Family security, happiness, and self-respect were identified as important terminal values. Quality, efficiency, aesthetics, and ethics were considered important when the current sample group purchased fashion products. The mean score of climate environmental knowledge related to fashion was lower than neutral; however the cognition of the climate crisis was considerably high. Attitudes toward the general and fashion-specific climate environments showed positive relations with values, knowledge, and climate cognition. The results were discussed to provide some insight and suggestions to carbon neutrality and the related studies.
