  • Since 2006, social networking services such as Facebook, Twitter, and Blog user increasing very rapidly. Furthermore demand of Book Retrieval Service using smartphone on social network service environment are increasing too. This service can to easy and share information for search book and data in several university. However, the current edition of the social services in the country to provide security services do not have the right. Therefore, we suggest a social book Retrieval service in social network environment that can support user authentication and partial filter search method on smartphone. our proposed system can to provide more speed responsiveness, effective display result on smartphone and security service.

  • Information security breaches caused by malicious code is arising in various forms with exponential growth. The latest information security threats on computers are increasing, especially on smartphone, which has enabled malicious code to quickly surge. As a result, the leakage of personal information, such as billing information, is under threat. Meanwhile the attack vector o smartphone malware is difficult to detect. In this paper, we propose a smartphone security system to respond to the spread of malicious code by iPhone and Android OS-based malware analysis.

  • Among the currently used knowledge-based authentication methods for smartphones, text and graphic-based authentication methods, such as PIN and pattern methods, use a display unit and a touch function of the display unit for input/output of secret information. Recently released smartphone form factors are trying to transform into various forms, away from the conventional bar and slate types because of the material change of the display unit used in the existing smartphone and the increased flexibility of the display unit. However, as mentioned in the study of D. Choi [1], the structural change of the display unit may directly or indirectly affect the authentication method using the display unit as the main input/output device for confidential information, resulting in unexpected security vulnerabilities. In this paper, we analyze the security vulnerabilities of the current mobile user authentication methods that is applied atypical form factor. According to the analysis results, it seems that the existing display-dependent mobile user authentication methods do not consider emerging security threats at all. Furthermore, it is easily affected by changes in the form factor of smartphones. Finally, we propose countermeasures for security vulnerabilities expected when applying conventional authentication methods to atypical form factor-based smartphones.

  • What is an ideal authentication method for smartphone banking services? And what are the critical elements to be considered when designing it? To provide valuable insight for these questions, this study investigates various authentication requirements to be considered in smartphone banking service with the aspect of security, convenience and cost. By applying Analytic Network Process (ANP), this study first analyzes priorities among the requirements and then draws an ideal authentication method for smartphone banking service. Moreover, a sensitivity analysis has been conducted by varying the relative importance of several requirements. The results from the judgment of 72 experts revealed that, although Korean government has obliged the use of Public Key certificate, OPT and biometric alternatives may prove to be more appropriate for the smartphone banking service. These results will contribute to the provision of more secured and convenient smartphone banking services.

  • If an external attacker takes from a victim's smartphone a copy of a secret application or an application to which fingerprinting technique is applied, secret information can be leaked or the legitimate user can be misunderstood as an illegal redistributor, which results in a serious security problem. To solve this problem, this paper proposes an Android application code protection scheme using fingerprint authentication and dynamic loading. The proposed scheme divides one application into CLR(Class LoadeR) and SED(SEperated Dex). CLR is an APK file with the ability to dynamically load the SED, and the SED is a file containing the classes required to run the application. The SED is stored inside the smartphone after being encrypted, and the SED can be decrypted only if the user is successfully authenticated using his or her fingerprint. The proposed scheme can protect the application code from the attacker who physically acquired user's smartphone.

  • Smartphone have become commonplace because they have the advantage of facilitating communication with others and making life easier. The smartphone's system log stores various data related to the user actions. Since 2015, Huawei has been growing rapidly, with its sales volume increasing and it was ranked second in the world in three years. The use of Huawei smartphones by many users means that Huawei smartphones are likely to be used to detect traces of criminal investigations, so we need to study system logs of Huawei smartphones. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze system log which is forensically meaningful for Huawei smartphone. We also propose how to use logs in forensic investigation.

  • The Korean Smartphone industry has advanced rapidly. There seems to have a considerable change in Korea smartphone industry as the security policy related to wireless devices is changed from Whitelist Policy to Blacklist Policy. In regard to such a change, this paper analyzes the smartphone market in terms of the Business Ecosystem Model suggested by Moore. This study examines how Korean Smartphone Ecosystem has been formed and how any shifts in policy will have an effect on the ecosystem. In line with this policy shift, this study also suggests the ways how these ecosystem members should establish a strategy for the continuous development of this smartphone ecosystem. Furthermore, this study presents cooperation directions among ecosystem members based on the organic connections in the ecosystem as well as each individual's corresponding measures. In addition, based on this analysis, this study puts forward Korean smartphone ecosystem's current problems, improvement, and its future.

  • In recent years, large companies and public institutions in the Smartphone business purposes has been used a lot. Personal Smartphone are worried about security of personal information only. But if you are a corporate or business purposes requires a more cautious approach. It can destroy an organization's network to hack Smartphones have very serious damage. For this purpose, the existing solution, and try to solve security issues with MDM or MAM. However, Smartphone users discomfort and there is a limit of organizational control. In this paper, we can propose with these issues more broadly would like to suggest. Secure mobile traffic management system enables companies or agencies the ease for users to use a Smartphone. And, for organizations that provide smart phones are more powerful and can provide a means of control. In addition, wired/wireless integration and security measures that can provide new services to offer.

  • Using a smartphone allows quick and easy authentication and payment. However, smartphone security threats are evolving into a variety of new hacking technologies, and are changing to attacks specific to the mobile environment. Therefore, there is a demand for an authentication method suitable for a mobile environment. In order to solve security weaknesses in knowledge-based authentication, many companies provide two-step authentication services such as OTP(One Time Password) to provide authentication services such as finance, games, and login. Although OTP service is easy to use, it is easy to duplicate random number table and has a disadvantage that can be reused because it is used as valid value within time limit. In this paper, we propose a mechanism that enables users to quickly and easily authenticate with high security using the authentication method that recognizes special characters through smartphone's dedicated application.

  • Enforcing additional authentication to password-based authentication, in addition to attempting to increase the security of the password itself, helps to improve the security of the password authentication scheme. For a well-known problem of using strong passwords that differ from site to site, we propose a scheme for password generation and management with an inherent supplementary authentication. Like the so-called password manager, the scheme retrieves and presents a strong site-specific password whenever requested without requiring the user to remember multiple passwords. Unlike the existing methods, however, the scheme permits the password retrieval process to proceed only through the authenticated user's ownership verified smartphone. Hence, even for sites not enforcing or supporting two-factor authentication, the logon process can benefit from the scheme's assurance of enhanced security with its two-factor equivalent authentication. The scheme can also prevent an attacker from impersonating a user or stealing secrets even when the stored information of the server for password retrieval service or the user's smartphone is leaked.
