To promote the efficiency of production process of small and medium sized company, government conducts production information business that collects and analyzes information of production field automatically and helps process' controlling and supervising by supporting costs of purchase, installment, etc. of hard-software and network related to middle and small sized company intending e-Manufacturing of production field with computer and information & communication network. As a result, the number of middle and small sized companies that introduce and manage production information system is increased. Therefore, the purposes of this research are to arrange contents of production information system introduced to solve current problems of middle and small sized companies and analyze effects of small and middle sized companies' introduction through example companies.

This study aims to systematize the needs of each area for computerized production management of small- and medium-sized firms and establish the basic design background of their common database. For this purpose, we surveyed the status, needs and appliable characteristics of the firms production system by the categories of industry, size and production type. On the base of these surveys the basic design concept and contents of automatic production system for small and medium-sized firms are proposed.

It's very important to make an effective and optimized production schedule for the small-to-medium-sized factory which have high-variety low-volume manufacturing properties. And now people say that MES is very useful to make scheduling more effectively. But for small-to-medium-sized factory, it is very difficult to build MES system because of fewer infrastructures in the factory, and more to keep it's continuous maintenance and improvement. Therefore it is more important to systematize the production scheduling generation using simpler and easier tools like EXCEL sheet. And it will be needed a new method to make simple MES construction for more efficient production scheduling. This paper proposes the method which can build simple MES easily using a tool of EXCEL VBA for a small-to-medium-sized factory, and introduces an applied case by the proposed method and EXCEL VBA.

본 연구는 국내의 금속열처리 중소기업을 대상으로 필요한 정보를 현장에서 수집하고 발취하는 체계적인 방법을 결정하는데 있다. 그러므로 본 연구는 부산지역에 소재한 중소기업을 중심으로 연구되었으며, 중요한 점은 열처리 공정 현장 데이터를 의미 있는 생산기술관리 정보 데이터로 변환하여 생산기술관리를 위한 금속열처리 프로그램을 개발하였다. 결론적으로 중소기업형 금속열처리의 생산정보시스템을 구축하였다.

A production control information system developed for multi-product, small-lot-sized production is presented. The system is composed of interrelated modules for production planning, shop floor control, and inventory/material management. The architecture of the system, functions of each module, and information processing procedures of each function are discussed.

The majority of small/medium sized shipbuilders in Korea is poor in capital and then, should be restructured as an efficient production system with low investment. Due to considering this situation, the cooperative work system is proposed, in this study, as more effective production system for small/medium sized shipbuilder The cooperative work system Is the production system that many small/medium sized shipbuilders in a group jointly share the common facilities except minimum equipments and have managerial cooperation such as joint purchase of raw materials. The efficiency of cooperative work system is proved from economic and technical point of view with the case study of FRP shipbuilders of Sapjin industrial complex located at Mokpo area.

Today, many middle-sized shipbuilding companies in Korea are experiencing strong competition from shipbuilding companies in other nations. This competition is particularly affecting small- and middle-sized shipyards, rather than the major shipyards that have their own support systems and development capabilities. The acquisition of techniques that would enable maximization of production efficiency and minimization of the gap between planning and execution would increase the competitiveness of small- and middle-sized Korean shipyards. In this paper, research on a simulation-based support system for ship production management, which can be applied to the shipbuilding processes of middle-sized shipbuilding companies, is presented. The simulation research includes layout optimization, load balancing, work stage operation planning, block logistics, and integrated material management. Each item is integrated into a network system with a value chain that includes all shipbuilding processes.

다품종 소량생산 공정에서는 동일 특성을 가지는 제품의 제작 개수가 절대적으로 적기 때문에 전통적인 공정제어 기법인 통계적 공정관리(Statistical Process Control)를 적용하기에는 어려움이 많이 존재한다. 그러므로 통계적인 접근법과 아울러 다양한 제품 특성을 규정짓기 위한 다양한 조건의 조합으로 이루어지는 SPEC규칙, 그리고 엔지니어의 경험에 기반한 노하우가 응집되어 있는 KNOWHOW규칙을 유연하게 설정하여 공정을 제어할 수 있는 규칙기반 공정관리 기술의 접목이 필요하다. 본 연구는 다품종 소량생산 공정에 적용 가능한 규칙기반 공정관리(Rule-based Process Control) 시스템을 제안하고, 이 시스템을 실제 반도체 생산 공정에 적용하여 그 성과를 검증하였다.

The purpose of this study is to offer a holistic description of the role demanded of costume designers to provide qualitative improvement of costume designs for small- and medium-sized musicals. The study accomplishes this by analyzing the relationship between the play and costume design in musicals and also by examining the process and environments in which costumes of small-sized theater companies' original musicals are produced. The methods of study are empirical research of literature related to dress, stage art, and culture & arts from both domestic and foreign publications; research of visual materials related to plays; and production and analysis of theatrical performances in which the researcher has participated as a costume designer. The results of the study are as follows. First, professionalism of the play and visual perfection of the work may be enhanced by costume designers actively participating in meetings with staff from each field of the play. Second, by taking advantage of the unique aspects of the work environment of small-sized theater companies' small- and medium-sized original musicals, such as harsh situations of regular and periodical meetings with all staff member, the designer may consider the director's intentions and concepts of the play, but should display more creative and autonomous design abilities. Third, because the costume designers of small- and medium-sized original musical plays are given a small budget and short production periods, the ability to systematically manage budget and production periods and the ability to flexibly handle unexpected incidents during the play is essential.

This study analyzed product conditions in terms of "size system," "clothing construction depending on fit," "details," "colors," and "prices," with an emphasis on young contemporary brands for spring/summer 2021, in order to provide basic data for the development of small-sized women's jackets. Out of 96 domestic and foreign brands, the study analyzed 254 small-sized jacket products from 23 brands that produce size-XS jackets. First, when examining the sizes for women's jackets, we found that 8 out of the 23 brands offer a size-XXS option. After conducting tree analysis to analyze the factors affecting the production of size-XXS, the study found significant results in the areas of "distinction between domestic and foreign brands" and "product price." Second, after categorizing small-sized women's jackets into 3 categories-fit-slim, basic, and straight-the study analyzed clothing construction elements depending on fit. This seasons mainly feature straight-fit's hip-line length jacket, a 4-panel pattern, and a panel without a waist dart. Third, the study, through the analysis of the colors of small-sized women's jackets, found a higher frequency of colors in the order of black (23.0%), white (13.3%), and beige tones (10.1%), with additional colors such as sky blue, rose pink, and aquamarine in production, which exhibit the senses of the seasons. Price analysis revealed that small-sized jackets constituted a price range at the mid-to-low end, as in ₩50,000-100,000 (30.3%), ₩100,000-150,000 (19.3%), and ₩150,000-200,000 (11.8%).
