DA-5018(N-(3-(3, 4-dimethylphenyl)propyl)-4-(2-aminoethoxy)-3-methoxyphenylacetamide) is a new capsaicin derivative under development as topical analgesic agent. The general pharmacological properties of DA-5018 on central nervous, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal and other organ systems were studied in experimental animals. DA-5018 cream (0.3%) had no effects on behavior, hexobarbital-induced sleeping time, body temperature, spontaneous activity, blood pressure, heart rate, intestinal charcoal propulsion, urine volume and electrolyte excretion even at a high dose of 2000 mg/kg in rats. In addition, DA-5Ol8 cream had little skin irritation compared to Zostrix-HP (capsaicin, 0.075%) cream in rabbits. In isolated guinea pig tissue studies, DA-5018 increased the contractility of trachea and ileum and also increased sinus rate of atrium in a range of 10^{-8}-10^{-5}$$ M, but its efficacy as a agonist was weak. These results suggest that DA-5018 cream might be used topically without serious side effects.

The MeOH extract of seeds of Cerbera odollam Gaertn. (Apocynaceae) was screened for its antibacterial, cytotoxic and neuropharmacological activities. The extract showed moderate anti-bacterial activity against Salmonella typhi, Streptococcus saprophyticus, and Streptococcus pyogenes. It exhibited high level cytotoxicity against brine shrimp ($LC_{50}$: $3\;{\mu}g/ml$). The extract potentiated pentobarbital induced sleeping time in mice which was further supported by the exploratory behavior test at dose of 25 mg/kg. The overall results tend to suggest the antibacterial, cytotoxic and CNS depressant activities of the extract.

The psycho-pharmacological effect of BRHAT VATACHINTAMANI RASA (BVC) an Ayurvedic preparation was investigated, both in animal and clinical models. It was observed that BVC possess a sedative or quitening effect in that it significantly decreased the spontaneous motor activity, and also lowered the exploratory behavior of the amphetamine treated animals. This was further evident by increase in climbing out time and taming effect on animal in isolation induced aggression test. Apart from very high dose it seems have little effect on pentobarbital sleeping time and narcotic analgesic test. The drug BVC increases performance of the animal in forced locomotor test. The effect of VATACHINTAMANI RASA on clinical study was not significant.

PEG-hemoglobin SB1 (SB1), which is a hemoglobin-based oxygen carrier, is intended to use as a safe blood substitute against brain ischemia and stroke. The general pharmacological profiles of SB1 were studied. The doses given were 0, 5, 10, 20 ml/kg and drugs were administered intravenously. The animals used for this study were mouse, rat and guinea pig. SB1 showed no effects on general behavior, motor coordination, spontaneous locomotor activity, hexobarbital sleeping time, anticonvulsant activity, analgesic activity, blood pressure and heart rate, left ventricular peak systolic pressure, left ventricular end diastolic pressure, left ventricular developing pressure, double product, heart rate, coronary flow rate, smooth muscle contraction using guinea pig ileum, gastrointestinal transport, gastric secretion, urinary volume and electrolyte excretion at all doses tested except the decrease of body temperature. These findings demonstrated that SB1 possesses no general pharmacological effects at all doses tested.

This paper proposes a control-based approach for duty cycle adaptation in wireless sensor networks. The proposed method, QCon, controls duty cycle through queue management in order to achieve high performance under variable traffic rates. To minimize energy consumption while meeting delay requirement, we design a feedback controller, which adapts the sleeping time according to dynamically changing traffic by constraining the queue length at a predetermined value. Based on control theory, we analyze the adaptive behavior of QCon and derive conditions for system stability. Results from asymptotic analysis and simulations indicate that QCon outperforms existing scheduling protocol by achieving more energy savings while satisfying delay requirement.

This study aims at developing the interior design method of Guest Room Space in resort condominium. There needs new concepts in Guest Room Space in resort condominium where we felt sleeping, eating, in the past. And the behavior in the Guest Room Space in resort condominium become various such as refreshing, making a group, harmony a family and so on. Nowadays, The resort condominium change to complex style and it's space design reflecting user's needs. This study treats with the design item such as unit space plan, furniture, furnishing and equipment of Guest Room Space in resort condominium. As a result of this study, the interior design methods of Guest Room Space in resort condominium must reflect of fitting material, color plan, user's needs and functional divide space. (Living, Dinning, Kitchen, Toilet and Foyer) These result will become basic data future interior design in Guest Room Space in resort condominium.

Sleep disorders are very common among pediatric patients. Its prevalence is between 10% and 45% in preschool- and school-aged children. However parents commonly do not concern about their children's sleeping habits and for many pediatricians, there is not part of the routine office visit about a childs sleep. Sleep disorders were classified by International Classification of Sleep Disorder (ICSD) as dyssomnias, parasomnias, sleep disorders associated with mental, neurologic, or other medical disorders, and proposed sleep disorders. There are lots of differences in the causes, manifestations, and managements of sleep disorders between children and adult. The sleep disorders in childhood may manifest themselves as bedtime resistance, refusal to go to bed at a parentally described time, sleep-onset delay, inability to fall asleep within a reasonable time, prolonged nighttime awakening, and inability to return to sleep without assistance after waking during the night, and so have wide-ranging influences on children's behavior, mood, school performance, and family life. It's very important for pediatrician to concern about the sleep disturbances in childhood and so the problems of sleep in children should be early detected and managed.

In this paper, an analog-domain powr-reduction technique for a low-voltage CMOS operational amplifier and its application to clock-based VLSI systems are proposed. The proposed technique cuts off the bias current of the op amp during a half cycle of the clock in the sleeping mode and resumes the curent supply sequentially during the remaining cycle of the clock in the normal operating mode. The proposed sequential sbiasing technique reduces about 50% of the op amp power and improves the circuit performance through high phase margin and stable settling behavior of the output voltage. The power-reduction technique is applied to a sample-and-hold amplifier which is one of the critical circuit blocks used in the front-end stage of analog and/or digital integrated systems. The SHA was simulated and analyzed in a 0.8.mu.m n-well double-poly double-metal CMOS technology.

This study has a subject for the detached houses and mass housing ( alias dictus, Apartment) on the Dae Gu urban area, and has a process of surveying and analyzing the actual using states of dweller in the residential space and has an object of finding the behavioral pattern of the spatial using corresponded to the living activities. As its result, a cultural searching for urban housing is disciplined with the positive study for surveying the living contents emerged form the residential spaces. Limited into sleeping, eating, hosting, familiarity and family ritual, where and how the living activities is appeared according as the housing types and floor types, and what different and common features of its spatial using is possessed, is focused on this study. As Conclusion, it is found that each living activities are differed in the spatial using behavior according to the housing and floor types, but genetically are inherited by the traditional custom. Thus two behavial directions of dweller in public residential architecture have to be reconsidered in the urban housing culture.

본 연구는 2013년 지역사회건강조사 통계자료를 활용하여 젊은 여성들의 체중조절행위에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 실시되었다. 연구대상은 전국의 19~29세 13,351명이었으며, 자료분석은 ${\chi}2$-test와 다중로지스틱회귀분석을 통해 이루어졌다. 연구결과 젊은 여성들의 체중조절행위는 연령, 결혼상태, 교육수준, 가족유형, BMI, 인지된 건강수준, 주관적 체형, 고위험 음주, 주중 좌식여가활동, 아침식사결식, 수면시간, 스트레스 인지, 우울감 경험, 자살생각 등에 따라 차이가 있었다. 그리고 젊은 여성의 체중조절행위에 영향을 주는 요인은 연령, 결혼상태, 교육수준, 가족유형, BMI, 인지된 건강수준, 주관적 체형, 고위험 음주, 주중 좌식여가활동, 스트레스 인지, 우울감 경험 등이었다. 체중조절행위 접근 시 다른 건강행위들과의 상관성을 고려할 필요가 있다.
