미끄럼방지포장 유지관리를 위한 미끄럼저항 성능평가방법 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Skid Resistance Performance Evaluation Methods for Maintenance of Skid Resistance Pavement)

  • 미끄럼방지포장은 도로의 부속물로서 도로 및 교통 특성으로 인해 미끄럼저항을 충분히 확보하지 못한 곳이나 도로선형의 변화가 심한 구간에서 포장의 미끄럼저항을 높여 자동차의 안전한 주행을 도모하기 위한 시설이라고 명시하고 있다. 특히, 눈, 비, 블랙아이스와 같은 기상 악천후 상황에서 미끄럼방지포장의 미끄럼저항성능은 도로교통 및 운전자의 안전에 큰 영향을 미친다. 하지만 현재 미끄럼저항성능을 측정하는 데 주로 사용되는 BPN은 시험 면적이 0.009 m2에 불과하여 전체 포장면에 대한 대표성을 나타내기 어렵기 때문에 미끄럼방지포장 유지관리를 위한 신뢰성 있는 미끄럼저항성능 평가방법이 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 지침 및 표준 조사를 통하여 BPN, SN, GN 시험의 미끄럼저항 성능평가 방법을 비교하고 현장 미끄럼저항 성능평가에 적용하고자 하였다. 또한, 미끄럼방지포장의 체계적인 유지관리를 위하여 미끄럼방지포장재 미끄럼저항 성능평가 Test-bed 및 실도로 실증 현장에 미끄럼저항성능이 다른 미끄럼방지포장을 설치하여 성능평가방법(BPN, SN, GN)별 미끄럼저항성능을 비교하였다. 실험결과, SN과 GN은 미끄럼저항성능이 비슷한 경향으로 나타났으며, GN은 BPN × 0.01 과 유사하게 도출되었다.

Implementation of Smart Traffic Safety Systems using Fuzzy Theory

  • Traffic accidents due to excessive speed frequently occur in places where traffic signal controllers are installed, places where sharp curves exist, or places where the traffic signal cycle does not match the current time. These traffic accidents cause economic loss due to the destruction of road facilities and structures, and cause a big problem of increasing the number of traffic accident deaths. When a traffic accident occurs, leaving a tire mark before or after a car crash, pre-collision speed of the car is calculated using the law of conservation of momentum or the skid mark formula. In the skip skid mark generated in ABS brake vehicles and the combshaped yaw mark generated by tire trace caused by lateral sliding, there is a difference of 30-40% in the reliability of the vehicle speed calculated by the smite mark. In this paper, we propose an algorithm that can improve the calculation reliability in vehicle speed by using skid marks in order to compensate for this problem. In addition, we present an intelligent speed calculation algorithm for traffic safety and a computer simulation in order to prevent traffic accidents by estimating the speed of a vehicle, using Skid marks, Yaw marks, and ABS brake characteristics and fuzzy rules.

산림작업로의 지속적 활용을 위한 간이 사면안정처리 효과분석 (Analysis of the Effectiveness of Simplified Slope Stabilization Methods for the Continuous Utilization of Skid Trails)

  • 본 연구는 산림작업로의 사용이후에 존치시켜 지속적으로 활용하기 위하여 필요한 저비용 구조의 간이 사면안정구 조물을 개발하고, 그 시공효과를 살펴보고자 실시하였다. 국립산림과학원 산림기술경영연구소 관내에 시설된 산림작업로의 성토사면에 안정구조물을 시공하였다. 성토사면 간이 안정구조물에 대하여 차량의 통행으로 인한 노면 침하량 및 지지력 분석을 실시하였고, 모든 사면안정구조물에 대해서는 차량통행으로 인한 안정구조물의 변위량을 측정하여 안정성을 판정하였다. 성토사면 간이 사면안정구조물을 대상으로 한 소운재 차량(총 중량 17톤)을 최대 100회(목재운송량 780 ㎥)까지 통행 후 운송횟수별 노면의 지지력과 침하량을 분석한 결과, 안정처리공법별로 노면의 침하량은 최대 150 mm 이하로 양호한 것으로 나타났으나, 노면지지력의 효과는 크게 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 안정구조물의 안정성을 평가한 결과, 뿌리쌓기 공법에서 안정성이 다소 낮았으나, 대체로 모든 구조물의 평균 변위량이 약 20 mm이하로 구조적 안정성에는 큰 문제가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같이 목재생산 이후에 존치되는 산림작업로를 대상으로 간이한 사면안정구조물을 적용한다면 효율적 목재생산이 가능할 뿐만 아니라, 부족한 임도를 보완할 수 있는 영구적인 생산기반시설로 활용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

A New Approach to Motion Modeling and Autopilot Design of Skid-To-Turn Missiles

  • In this paper, we present a new approach to autopilot design for skid-to-turn missiles which may have severe aerodynamic cross-couplings and nonlinearities with angle of attack. The model of missile motion is derived in the maneuver plane and, based on that model, pitch, yaw, and roll autopilot are designed. They are composed of a nonlinear term which compensates for the aerodynamic couplings and nonlinearities and a linear controller driven by the measured outputs of missile accelerations and angular rates. Besides the outputs, further information such as Mach number, dynamic pressure, total angle of attack, and bank angle is required. With the proposed autopilot and simple estimators of bank angle and total angle of attack, it is shown by computer simulations that the induced moments and some aerodynamic nonlinearities are properly compensated and that the performance is superior to that of the conventional ones.

인휠드라이브 타입 $6{\times}6$ 차량 플랫폼을 위한 시스템 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 (System Modeling and Simulation for an In-wheel Drive Type $6{\times}6$ Vehicle)

  • The skid-steering method that applied a number of mobile robot currently is extremely effective in narrow area. But it contains several problems such as its natural properties, slip, occurred by different direction between vehicle's driving and wheel's rotary. Through this paper, suitable control algorithm of $6{\times}6$ skid steering wheeled vehicle and its driving methods are proposed by analyzing the behavior $6{\times}6$ skid-steered wheeled vehicle model designed by engineering analysis strategy. To do this, based on a behavior of designed driving system, required torque and other performance of in-wheel type motor system are considered, and finally control algorithm for each wheel is proposed and simulated using this model. To test the proposed vehicle system, driver model is designed using PID closed loop system and included in the total driving control algorithm. The Performance of designed vehicle model is verified by using DYC (Direct Yaw Control) cornering mode and slip mode control to follow the steering input which are essential to evaluate the driving performance of $6{\times}6$ vehicle. Proposed modeling strategy and control method will be implemented to the real $6{\times}6$ in-wheel drive type vehicle.

A mean-absolute-deviation based method for optimizing skid sequence in shipyard subassembly

  • 본 논문은 조선소 소조립 공정의 스키드 컨베이어 환경에서 전체 작업 시간을 최소화하기 위해 스키드 처리 순서를 최적화하는 방법을 제안한다. 소조립 공정은 일련의 정해진 작업들로 구성되며 스키드의 종류에 따라 요구되는 작업 시간이 다르다. 전체 작업 시간을 결정짓는 스키드의 컨베이어 투입 순서는 적절하게 최적화되어야 하며 문제 크기는 스키드 개수에 따라 지수적으로 증가한다. 이러한 점에서 UniDev라 불리우는 새로운 방법을 제안하는데 동시간에 진행되는 작업 소요 시간의 차이에 관한 평균절대편차를 정의하고 이를 점진적으로 개선한다. 다양한 스키드 개수와 공정의 개수에 대한 시뮬레이션 결과 제안된 방법이 Multi-Start 방법과 2-OPT 방법보다 전체 작업 소요 시간을 효과적으로 줄일 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Portable Laser Profiler를 이용한 도로 포장의 노면조직 깊이 측정 방법 연구 (A Study on the Measurement of Texture Depth of Pavement Using Portable Laser Profiler)

  • PURPOSES : Skid resistance and noise of roads highly depend on the characteristics of pavement texture. Therefore, estimation of texture characteristics may give useful information for the skid resistance and noise of road. Generally, Sand Patch Test is performed in order to estimate MTD(Mean Texture Depth). However, it is time-consuming and needs traffic control. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of measurement texture depth using the Portable Laser Profiler that give the MPD(Mean Profile Depth). METHODS : MTD and MPD were collected on the number of expressway sections including Central Inland Test Road sections in Korea. Statistical analysis are performed to establish the relationship between MTD data based on Sand Patch Test and MPD data obtained by the Portable Laser Profiler. RESULTS : Linear relationship MPD and MTD is observed for both of asphalt pavement and concrete pavement such as R-square of 0.51 to 0.58. CONCLUSIONS : Even though, the test method and definition of MPD and MTD are different. EMTD(Estimated Mean Texture Depth) can be obtained by using the correlationship between MPD with MTD.

소수성 특성을 이용한 저점도 AP 표면처리재의 현장 적용성 연구 (A Study on Field Applicability Evaluation of the Hydrophobic - Low Viscosity Surface Treatment Material for Pavement Preventive Maintenance)

  • PURPOSES : Surface treatment material for pavement preventive maintenance should be inspected field applicability. This study(Part II) aimed to checkup coating characteristics and performance analysis using lab and field tests. The hydrophobic - low viscosity filling material for pavement preventive maintenance is presented in Part I, which is a series of companion study. METHODS : Relative comparison between general asphalt mixtures and surface treatment asphalt mixtures are analyzed and measured for the field application such as indirect tensile strength ratio(TSR), abrasion resistance, crack propagation resistance, temperature resistance, coating thickness, permeability resistance and skid resistance in terms of british pendulum number(BPN). RESULTS : It is found that TSR, crack propagation resistance and permeability resistance is increased as against uncoated asphalt specimen. Abrasion resistance and temperature resistance is secured from the initial coating thickness point of view, which is about 0.2~0.3mm. Skid resistance on the surface treatment pavement is satisfied with the BPN criteria of national highway because of exposed aggregate and crack sill induced pavement deterioration and damage cracks. CONCLUSIONS : The hydrophobic - low viscosity surface treatment material for pavement preventive maintenance is validated on field applicability evaluation based on quantitative analysis of coating thickness and performance analysis using lab and field tests.
