Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the metabolic syndrome (MS) risk factors, physical activity, and diet habits, between the fifties and sixties in postmenopausal women. Methods: Two hundred and thirty subjects were recruited from the volunteers of a tertiary care hospital located in an urban city of South Korea. MS was defined by the criteria of the American Heart Association, the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, and the International Diabetes Federation, and obesity was determined by waist circumference ${\geq}85cm$. Results: During fifty and sixty years of age, the prevalence of MS was 19.7% and 30.6%, respectively. The waist circumference, triglyceride, blood pressure, and fasting serum glucose levels were significantly higher in the MS group than in the non-MS group during their fifties and sixties. For participants in their sixties, the pulse pressure and fasting serum glucose levels were significantly higher in the MS group than in the non-MS group. Physical activity was significantly lower in the MS group than in the non-MS group in their sixties. Conclusion: These results show that nurses should focus on increased physical activity for patients their sixties, especially MS patients for the improvement of MS risk factors.

The purpose of the study was to offer basic documents to the textile fashion industry by investigating changes of figures followed by various factors as each other social and cultural environment regardless of the same race. The study conducted a questionnaire survey of Korean women and Korean women in Japan to twenties, forties and sixties. The study enforced measurement from February, 2006 to March, 2006 and from July, 2006 to August, 2006 with R. Martin's Measurement Method of Anthropometry in total 49 measurement items. Also, the study treated statistics of the documents with SPSS WIN 10.0 program. As the result which studied comparison of figures with basic statistics, t-test and more, the study got the following conclusion. Most of Korean women and Korean women residing in Japan have big individual differences in obesity, especially width, thickness, and girth of waist showed the largest variation proving considerable individual difference in waist. In a body measurement comparison, twenties, forties, and sixties of Korean women residing in Japan are higher in heights compare to Korean women, while Korean women have wider and thicker waists than Korean women residing in Japan. In a body difference comparison, categories that showed significant differences are 40's>20's>60's in order and twenties and sixties showed only small difference. In conclusion, Korean women have longer, wider, thicker and smaller waist than Korean woman residing in Japan. When divided by age groups, forties and sixties Korean women are longer in waist, shorter in heights, fatter in weights. Twenties have long waist similar to forties and sixties, but had no significant difference in heights and weights.

This study aimed to explore how India madras fashion was diffused in the American women's costume of the different social levels from 1960 to 1975, by using fashion illustrations such as photographs, drawings and advertisements collected from fashion magazines. The purpose was to obtain data for high fashion(Vogue), mainstream fashion(Mademoiselle) and college newspapers for youth fashion. The data were incorporated from 439 clothing items classified by different categories over the 16-year period. The results indicated that the appearance of madras in the American women's fashion in all social classes supported the idea that fashion change during this period accompanied a concurrent change in social environment. In America during the 1960s when there was strong influence of youth counterculture and interest was high on Indian culture, this corresponded to the time of maximum popularity of madras observed in American fashion in general from 1965 to 1971. Though the Indian influence on fashion in the sixties was often ascribed solely to youth counterculture, it is evident that different social groups-high and mainstream social classes, responded to the appeal of Indian culture in different ways.

Objective : The purpose of this study is about stroke patients in Seosan. Method : The subjects of this study were 45 patients who were admitted to Hanseo University Oriental Hospital because of stroke. Each patients was diagnosed with Brain CT, sasang constitutional analysis. Results : 1. The rates in CVA was 58% on cerebral infarction, and 42% on cerebral hemorrhage. 2. The sites of cerebral infarction were Basal ganglia, MCA, Internal. External capsule. Thalamus, ect. Sites of cerebral hemorrhage were Thalamus, Basal ganglia, Cerebellum. 3. The ratio of left and right hemiplegia in cerebral infarction was 1:1.6, and in cerebral hemorrhage it was 1:2. 4. The most chief complaints in cerebral infarction, were hemiplegia, dysarthria, facial palsy, headache. In cerebral hemorrhage, their were hemiplegia, dysarthria, headache, dizziness, and facial palsy. 5. Classification of human corporal constitution in cerebral hemorrhage, the most was Taeumin, Soyangin, Soeumin. And in cerebral infarction, the most was Soyangin, Taeumin, Soyumin. 6. The ratio between male and female was 1.25:2 in cerebral hemorrhage, 2.5:5 in cerebral infarction. 7. The most prevalent age groups in cerebral hemorrhage was fifties to sixties. and in cerebral infarction was fifties to sixties. 8. The most common preceding disease in cerebral hemorrhage was HTN, DM. 9. The recurrence rate of cerebral hemorrhage was 16%, and cerebral infarction was 8%. 10. The ratio of recovery in cerebral hemorrhage was 84%, in cerebral infarction 58%. Conclusion : From this study, in cerebral hemorrhage most patients were Taeumin, in their fifties to sixties. And in cerebral infarction most patients were Soyangin, in their sixties to eighties. In both stroke patients, there were more female than male patients.

Objectives: The purpose of this study is to analyze basic data on socio - demographic characteristics, occupational careers, and desire for employment of job seekers in their Fifties and Sixties using a portal site. Methods: For this research, secondary data were collected by the researcher from 704 job seekers and were statistically analyzed using the SPSS package. Results: The results of the analysis are as follows: Most job seekers want a job that suits their competence and career trajectory, but the reality is that as their age increases, jobs suitable for those in their fifties and sixties are hard to find; thus these job seekers accept simple labor or functional jobs. Conclusions: Differences were found in work conditions such as occupation level, job position, total career years, desired employment type, and expected salary depending on socio - demographic variables. Consequently, improvements should be made for various job searching paths for older adults as well as increasing the accessibility of job searching information.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare activities of shoulder girdle muscles according to types of closed chain exercise in the sixties. Methods: The subjects consisted of 15 persons in their sixties. Muscle activity of the pectoralis major, deltoid middle, deltoid posterior, upper trapezius, lower trapezius, and serratus anterior were measured using electromyography according to shape of the support base and angle of shoulder flexion. According to types of closed chain exercises, muscles activities were compared by paired t-test. Significance level to verify statistical significance was .05. SPSS win (ver. 22.0) program was used for statistical analysis. Results: Muscle activities of the pectoralis major, middle deltoid, trapezius lower, and serratus anterior showed significant difference according to types of closed chain exercise (p<0.05). Conclusion: According to types of closed chain exercises of the shoulder girdle, muscle activities of the pectoralis major, deltoid middle, posterior and lower trapezius showed change of muscle activities.

Objective: This prospective survey assessed factors associated with influenza vaccination behaviors among high-risk adults. Methods: 106 patients aged 65 or high risk for complications of influenza were interviewed to identify influencing factors to vaccination. Six potential consequences of Influenza infection and nine factors of vaccination were analysed between compliance and non-compliance groups. Results: Among the 106 patients, the vaccination rate was 62.3%. The rate of the group under the sixties was 37.0010, but the rate over the sixties was 88.5%. Factors in dependently associated with both influenza vaccination behaviors included older age, chronic disease, and especially, related to factors in older age were having positive attitudes toward immunization, perceived severity of infection and willingness to comply with the provider's recommendation. Conclusions: Emphasis on provider recommendations and the knowledge and attitudes of influenza infection and vaccination may enhance influenza vaccination rates in the organized vaccination programs.

The author studied to determine the sex and age of 8 ancient human skeletal remains, which had excavated from ancient tombs located in Yeanri, Kimhae. Some kinds of personal identification methods their skulls and teeth were used for this study and the results were obtained as follows : 1. Sex determination was possible in ancient teeth from 4th to 5th century, using detection of X-Y homologous amelogenin gene by polymerase chain reaction. 2. DNA analysis proved that the materials examined were all male, but which always did not coincide with the results from other methods for sex determination including comparison of sexual differentiation of cranium and teeth and use of discriminant functions in the dental measurement. 3. There was little difference of the estimated ages between the methods by regression of pulp cavity and attrition in teeth. The ages from these two methods always did not coincide with ones from evaluation closure of cranial and palatal sutures. 4. Sex and age of the materials were determined as follows ; $\cdot$ Y9 was estimated to be male in early sixties. $\cdot$ Yl2 was estimated to be male in late twenties to early thirties. $\cdot$ Y37 was estimated to be male in early forties. $\cdot$ Y70 was estimated to be male in early sixties. $\cdot$ Y87 was estimated to be male in late forties. $\cdot$ Y109 was estimated to be male in early forties. $\cdot$ Yl29 was estimated to be male in late thirties to early forties. $\cdot$ Yl42 was estimated to be male in late fifties to early sixties.

This study was conducted to investigate the distribution of bone density according to age and the prevalence rate of osteoporosis I 613, middle-aged women who visited Saint Bundo Hospital in Pusan from June to December, 1997. Mean bone density of lumbar spine(L2L4), and femoral neck of 50-59 years of age was significantly lower than those of 40-49 years of age(p<0.05). At the 60years of age, mean bone density of two sites were less than those of 50-59 years of age. Mean bone density of lumbar spine tin the group of sixties were 20.7% lower than that of group aged under 40 ; For femoral neck, women in their sixties showed 22.6% lower density compared to the women aged under forty. Bone density of ward's triangle of sixties were the least, which was 34.2% lower than that of group aged under 40. Bone density in lumbar spine, femoral neck, trochanter and ward's triangle correlates strongly with each other(p<0.001). The proportion of osteoporosis was 3.6% in the group of forties, 10.9% in the group of fifties and 33.8% for the group aged over 60, which was assessed by bone density of lumbar spine. Bone density of lumbar spine, femoral neck and ward's triangle were positively correlated with height, weight and BMI(p<0.001∼p<0.01), and weight showed highest correlation with the bone density. Forty-four percent of variation in lumbar spine bone density was explained by age and weight.

The purpose of this study is to broaden the realm of the fashion design using print hereafter and to urge designers to the better quality design by presenting successful case. As a method of the study, the literature and visual data in this study were reviewed focusing on the 1960's, which was Pucci's golden age. For the historical background, textual and visual data related to sixties fashion and Italian fashion were referred. Foreign literature was investigated to study life of Pucci and his design tendency in fashion because domestic papers and research data were rare. Out of this, characteristics of fashion design of Pucci and conclusion were extracted. Emilio Pucci was born to an illustrious Florentine aristocratic family in 1914. He was a designer, businessman and politician. Pucci's design has following characteristics. Firstly, gorgeous geometric prints with brilliant colors were key factor in Pucci's fashion design. Secondly, Pucci's design in fashion was a luxury sporty casual style symbolizing wearer's status and position in society. Thirdly, Pucci liberated the wearer's body using light and stretch material matching comfortable and active style. Lastly, Pucci developed total fashion dealing with various items widely including clothes and non-clothing products.
