The purpose of this study is to examine library service for the blind and visually disabled persons. the coverage of this study is 1) The Concept and categorization of blind and visually disabled persons 2) History of library service for the blind and visually disabled persons. 3) Activities and current situation of library service for the blind and visually disabled persons. 4) Activities of library service for the blind and visually disabled persons in Korea. 5) problems of library service for the blind and visually disabled persons. The followings are some of major points revealed in problems of library service for the blind and visually disabled persons. 1. Attitudinal barriers which grow out of prejudice because of lack of public awareness of all the information services for the blind and visually disabled persons. 2. The development and distribution of reading aids and innovative technology improving access to information for the blind and visually disabled persons. 3. Extension of information service in public library for the blind and visually disabled persons. 4. Copyright problems. 5. Facilities or architectural problems for the blind and visually disabled persons.

Purpose - The objective of the paper is to explain the economy and trade development between South Korea and Shandong, strengthening logistics Industry cooperation of both sides increasingly important. Research design, data, methodology - The study conducted a survey on Shandong is the earliest economy and trade exchanges with South Korea in China. Shandong and South Korea share the similar geopolitical, the same culture and long exchange history etc. Results - This study explores current situation and existing problems the logistics cooperation between Korea and Shandong, and recommendations so as to further trade between two sides. Conclusions - Logistics cooperation of China and South Korea is an important part of the international logistics cooperation in Northeast Asian Economic Circle, and the logistics cooperation between Shandong and South Korea occupies an important position in logistics cooperation of China and South Korea.

Failure code system must include data of maintenance history, classification of failure, affective range and situation when failure occur. But the present failure code system have used a simple code system for classification to include only merchandise and tools. Advantageously, expansional standard code system that will be developed, it make that users can take steps of standardized overhaul and inspection as proposal maintain contents when failure occur or something wrong in vehicle of urban transit. Standardized failure codes must be developed and used that manufacturing companies and urban transit operating companies in order to give effect to maintenance works.

Although prolonged periods of intubation, chronic respiratory infection and inflammation have been reported to cause tracheomalacia. it is of relatively low incidence in adults, The clinical suspicion should be high when there has been a history of prolonged intubation with high cuff pressure and air leakage. When this clinical situation is encountered, rather than increasing the cuff pressure, the diagnosis of tracheomalacia should be considered.

We have investigated future large telescopes, which should represent the next generation of Korean optical and infrared telescopes. We first studied the history of the development of large telescopes in the USA, European countries, and Japan. Based on these studies, we came up suitable Korean large telescopes, which fit the current status of Korea in terms of financial situation, required technology, sciences, and manpower. We presented the potential impacts of developing large telescopes on the relevant Korean industry and Korean astronomical society. We also discussed a possibility to install large Korean telescopes at foreign sites utilizing highly competitive seeings and twice available observing dates there.

Looking back the history of formal treatment of linguistics, we cannot disregard the contribution of possible world semantics. Intensional logic of Montague semantics, DRT (Discourse Representation Theory), mental space, and situation theory are closely related to or compared with the notion of possible world. All these theories have commonly clarified the structure of belief context or uncertain knowledge, employing hypothesized worlds. In this talk, I firstly brief the pedigree of these theories. Next, I will introduce the recent development of modal logic for the representation of (i) knowledge and belief and (ii) time, in which belief modality is precisely discussed together with the accessibility among possible worlds. I will refer to BDI (belief-desire-intention) logic, CTL (computational tree logic), and sphere-based model in belief revision. Finally, I will discuss how these theories could be applied to the further development of analyses of natural language.

After latter half of the 1990 it has come out urban decline in big and middle & small cities. The purpose of this study is to review the methods of resident participation for community revitalization in civil renaissance through literature study. This study is divided into fourth parts. In the first part, the history of civil renaissance in Japan, German and England for getting grip on the situation is studied. In the second part, concepts of resident participation and community is dealed with. And the tendency of resident participation for community revitalization in civil renaissance is investigated through preceding researches. The third part and the last one are methods and conclusons and suggestions of resident participation revitalization in civil renaissance.

In the history of mathematics education, different opinions as to how to view the phenomenon of mathematics education have been suggested in various ways. As those conflicting opinions have caused fundamental tensions in the phenomenon of mathematics education, they remain fundamental standpoints that have been continuously advocated until now - not limited in a certain period. It can be argued that this situation was caused by partial or fragmentary understanding of the phenomenon of mathematics education. If we are pursuing not a partial knowledge but a complete understanding of mathematics education, how should it be formed to comprehensively study the entire phenomenon of mathematics education? To answer this question, Complex structure in phenomenon of Mathematics Education can be proposed. It is an explanation for the opposing opinions existing in the phenomenon of mathematics education. The purpose of this paper is to understand the phenomenon of mathematics education as a whole.

In this paper, we propose personalized recommendation techniques based on multidimensional scaling (MDS) method for Business to Consumer Electronic Commerce. The multidimensional scaling method is traditionally used in marketing domain for analyzing customers' perceptional differences about brands and products. In this study, using purchase history data, customers in learning dataset are assigned to specific product categories, and after then using MDS a positioning map is generated to map product categories and alternative advertisements. The positioning map will be used to select personalized advertisement in real time situation. In this paper, we suggest the detail design of personalized recommendation method using MDS and compare with other approaches (random approach, collaborative filtering, and TOP3 approach)

To understand the parks and leisure recreation environments of United States, some major areas are studied with the brief history of R & P area. development Those are 1) National Park System and National Park Service 2) ORRRC and BOR 3) Education of the Recreation & Park professions. Some findings of this study can be summarized as follows : 1. In United States, R & P area has been developed on the firm base of 'Publicity'. Central Park as a public park, National Park Service and Bureau of Outdoor Recreation as Federal organization have led this concept. 2. Major recreational resources - natural, cultural and historical etc-have converged into National Park System. On that, conservation and recreation use of those resources are possible in balance. 3. Establishment of the R & P area in the early stage made a great contribution to educate professionals. And this situation has been so helpful for balanced development of the area.
