UAV를 활용한 토목공사 현장 모니터링 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of Construction Site Monitoring System Using UAV Data for Civil Engineering Project)

  • 토목공사 발주기관은 공사현장이 대부분 원거리에 위치하고 담당공무원도 다수의 현장을 관리하게 되므로 간접적 방식으로 현장을 관리하고 있다. 토목공사 현장은 광범위한 작업구역을 가지므로 현장 실무자의 보고에 의한 간접적 관리방식으로는 사업전체의 현황을 신속하게 파악하기가 쉽지 않다. 이러한 문제점을 해소하기 위해 발주기관과 현장간의 현장관리시스템은 오프라인에서 온라인방식으로 변화되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 UAV에서 취득한 현장의 3차원정보를 활용하여 원거리에 위치한 현장과 감독기관간에 관련 정보를 온라인으로 공유할 수 있는 개선된 현장관리시스템을 제시한다. 이를 위하여 연구에서는 다수의 실제 현장의 현장관리 운영체계의 문제점을 분석하여 UAV활용 현장관리시스템에 필요로 하는 공사현황보고 및 온라인 정보관리 등의 주요기능을 도출하였다. 연구에서 개발된 시스템은 실제 공사 중인 현장에 적용하여 활용성을 검증하였으며, 다수의 현장 조사를 통하여 기존의 간접적 현장관리 방식과의 효율성 개선사항을 분석하였다.

네트워크를 이용한 온실 감시 시스템의 개발 (Development of a Greenhouse Monitoring System Using Network)

  • This study was carried out to design, construct, and test a greenhouse monitoring system fur the environment and status of control devices in a greenhouse from a remote site using internet. The measuring items selected out of many environmental factors were temperature, humidity, solar radiation, CO$_2$, SOx, NOx concentration, EC, pH of nutrient solution, the state of control devices, and the image of greenhouse. The developed greenhouse monitoring system was composed of the network system and the measuring module. The network system consists of the three kinds of monitors named the Croup Monitor. the Client Monitor and the Server Monitor. The results of the study are summarized as follows. 1. The measuring module named the House Monitor. which is used to watch the state of the control device and the environment of the greenhouse, was developed to a embedded monitoring module using one chip microprocessor 2. For all measuring items. the House Monitor showed a satisfactory accuracy within the range of ${\pm}$0.3%FS. The House Monitors were connected to the Croup Monitor by communication method of RS-485 type and could operate under power and communication fault condition within 10 hours. The Croup Monitor was developed to receive and display measurement data received from the House Monitors and to control the greenhouse environmental devices. 3. The images of the plants inside greenhouse were captured by PC camera and sent to the Group Monitor. The greenhouse manager was able to monitor the growth state of plants inside greenhouse without visiting individual greenhouses. 4. Remote monitoring the greenhouse environment and status of control devices was implemented in a client/server environment. The client monitor of the greenhouse manager at a remote site or other greenhouse manager was able to monitor the greenhouse environment and the state of control devices from the Server Monitor using internet.

KAERI 부지 주변의 환경선량 측정을 위한 온라인 감마선량 감시시스템 (On-line Gamma Monitoring System for Environmental Radiation Measurement around KAERI-site)

  • 환경감마선량 변동을 감시하기 위해 한국원자력연구소 부지 주변에 온라인 감마선량 감시망을 구성하였다. 모니터링 포스트에 설치된 전리함 검출기에 의해 측정된 자료는 무선전송 방식으로 중앙동제소에 전송되어 실시간으로 감시된다. 무선전송 방식은 자료의 전송, 처리 및 저장에 신뢰도가 높고 경제적이었다. 감시시스템은 급격한 선량증가시 조기경보체제와 연결할 수 있게 하였다.

공사장 소음모니터링 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement Plan of Construction Noise Monitoring)

  • Noise generated from Construction site has been raised most civil complaints to 64.4 % among the environmental pollution in 2011. Therefore, local government recommends and prescribes that construction sites over a certain scale install sound level meter for noise monitoring. For example, Seoul has implemented a 24 hour noise monitoring system, with real time communication, to the large construction sites more than 10,000 $m^2$ from the end of August 2012. But it is difficult to use noise measurement data for the construction noise assessment, since the installation standards and technical specifications for construction noise monitoring system are not presented. In this paper, we proposed noise monitoring system improvement plan including technical specifications and installation standards using the investigating results of the problems of current noise monitoring system and the foreign cases.

Experimental Study on Temperature Dependence of Nitrate Sensing using an ISE-based On-site Water Monitoring System

  • Recently, environmental problems have become an area of growing interests. In-situ monitoring of water quality is fundamental to most environmental applications. The accurate measurement of nitrate concentrations is fundamental to understanding biogeochemistry in aquatic ecosystems. Several studies have reported that one of the most feasible methods to measure nitrate concentration is the use of Ion Selective-electrodes (ISEs). The ISE application to water monitoring has several advantages, such as direct measurement methodology, high sensitivity, wide measurement range, low cost, and portability. However, the ISE methods may yield inconsistent results where there was a difference in temperature between the calibration and measurement solutions, which is associated with the temperature dependence of ionic activity coefficients in solution. In this study, to investigate the potential of using the combination of a temperature sensor and nitrate ISEs for minimizing the effect of temperature on real-time nitrate sensing in natural water, a prototype of on-site water monitoring system was built, mainly consisting of a sensor chamber, an array of 3 ISEs, an waterproof temperature sensor, an automatic sampling system, and an arduino MCU board. The analog signals of ISEs were obtained using the second-order Sallen-key filter for performing voltage following, differential amplification, and low pass filtering. The performance test of the developed water nitrate sensing system was conducted in a monitoring station of drinking water located in Jeongseon, Kangwon. A temperature compensation method based on two-point normalization was proposed, which incorporated the determination of temperature coefficient values using regression equations relating solution temperature and electrode signal determined in our previous studies.

건설 공정 모니터링을 위한 모바일 증강현실 시스템 (Construction Management System using Mobile Augmented Reality)

  • 본 논문에서는 실시간으로 건설현장의 공정과정 및 작업 결과를 파악하고 모니터링 할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 기존의 일반적인 건설현장 관리 및 모니터링의 경우 작업 현장의 영상을 작업자가 촬영한 후 이를 관리감독 본부에 직접 전송하여 작업의 진도나 작업결과 정확도에 대한 통제를 받는 오프라인 형식으로 진행된다. 이와 같은 모니터링 과정은 진행 방법의 특성상 많은 시간적 금전적 제약사항이 존재하며 신속한 의사결정 및 작업 현장과의 실시간 의사소통이 불가능하다는 단점이 존재한다. 이러한 단점을 최소화하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 증강현실 기술을 이용한 실시간 건설 공정 모니터링 시스템을 제안하였다. 그리고 최근 각광받는 스마트 모바일 장비를 기반으로 시스템을 구성함으로써 작업자의 사용성을 극대화하고자 하였다. 실험 및 구현 결과를 통하여 제안된 시스템의 효율성을 확인하였다.

실시간 철도 안전관제를 위한 DDS 기반의 일반철도 신호 데이터 규격 설계 연구 (Research on Design of DDS-based Conventional Railway Signal Data Specification for Real-time Railway Safety Monitoring and Control)

  • 철도 안전사고 예방을 목표로 하는 실시간 철도 안전관제 시스템에서는 DDS (Data Distribution Service) 표준 기술 기반의 데이터 전송 방안을 적용함으로 기존 현장의 안전검지장치로부터 발생한 데이터를 통합 및 관리하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 수많은 현장 데이터 중 일반철도 현장에서 발생한 신호설비 데이터 규격 설계를 소개하고 있다. 신호설비 데이터의 DDS 전송을 위하여 기존 표준 규격인 KRS SG 0062를 모델링하고, DDS 데이터 전송 단위인 Topic 설계 및 데이터 변환 방안을 제시하고, 데이터 성격 별로 네트워크 제어 QoS 정책 설계를 제시하고 있다. 또한 실제 현장 데이터를 분석하여 설계된 규격이 현장에 적용 가능한지를 확인해 보았다.

  • The paper considers the relation between on-line monitoring and diagnostics on the one hand and high-voltage (HV) withstand and partial discharge (PD) on-site testing on the other. HV testing supplies the basic data (fingerprints) for diagnostics. In case of warnings by on-line diagnostic systems, off-line withstand and PD testing delivers the best possible information about defects and enables the classification of the risk. Because alternating voltage (AC) is the most important test voltage, the AC generation on site is considered. Frequency tuned resonant (ACRF) test systems are best adapted to on-site conditions. They can be simply combined with PD measuring equipment. The available ACRF test systems and their application to electric power equipment -from cable systems to power transformers - is described.

Installation and operation of automatic nonpoint pollutant source measurement system for cost-effective monitoring

  • In Korea, nonpoint pollutants have a significant effect on rivers' water quality, and they are discharged in very different ways depending on rainfall events. Therefore, preparing an optimal countermeasure against nonpoint pollutants requires much monitoring. The present study was conducted to help prepare a method for installing an automatic nonpoint pollutant measurement system for the cost-effective monitoring of the effect of nonpoint pollutants on rivers. In the present study, monitoring was performed at six sites of a river passing through an urban area with a basin area of $454.3km^2$. The results showed that monitoring could be performed for a relatively long time interval in the upstream and downstream regions, which are mainly comprised of forests, regardless of the rainfall amount. On the contrary, in the urban region, the monitoring had to be performed at a relatively short time interval each time when the rainfall intensity changed. This was because the flow rate was significantly dependent on the rainfall's intensity. The appropriate sites for installing an automatic measurement system were found to be a site before entering the urban region, a site after passing through the urban region, and the end of a river where the effects of nonpoint pollutant sources can be well-decided. The analysis also showed that the monitoring time should be longer for the rainfall events of a higher rainfall class and for the sites closer to the river end. This is because the rainfall runoff has a longer effect on the river. However, the effect of nonpoint pollutant sources was not significantly different between the upstream and the downstream in the cases of rainfall events over 100 mm.

소형 독립형 풍력발전기의 진동 모니터링 및 분석 (Vibration Monitoring and Analysis of a Small Stand Alone Wind Turbine Generator)

  • A vibration monitoring system for a small size wind turbine (WIT) is established and operated. The monitoring system consists of monolithic integrated chip accelerometer for vibration monitoring, anemometers for wind data acquisition and auxiliary sensors for atmospheric data. Using the monitoring system, vibration response of a 6kW stand alone WIT generator is investigated. Acceleration data of the WIT tower under various operation condition is acquired in real time using LabVIEW and the data are remotely transferred from the test site to the laboratory in school by internet. Vibration response characteristics of the tower structure are diagnosed in the aspect of stability of W/T. Wind data and electrical power performance are also investigated with the stability problem.
