우리나라 남부연안에서 채집된 1개체 (전장 350.0 mm)의 표본을 근거로 흉상어과에 속하는 Scoliodon laticaudus를 한국미기록종으로 기재 보고한다. 본 종은 머리가 매우 납작한 삽모양이며 주둥이가 길고 납작한 점 가슴지느러미가 삼각형이며 제 1 등지느러미 후단이 배지느러미 중앙부분까지 도달하는 특징이 있다. 본 속과 종의 신한국명으로 각각 "납작주둥이상어속"과 "납작주둥이상어"를 제안한다.

제주도 북부 연안에서 채집된 학공치과 어류 1개체(표준체장 172.1 mm)를 근거로 Hemiramphus far를 한국미기록종으로 기재 보고한다. 본 종은 몸이 가늘고 긴 신장형으로 꼬리지느러미가 이차하고, 하악이 매우 길게 돌출되어 있는 점, 등지느러미와 뒷지느러미가 각각 13연조와 11연조로 이루어진 점, 등지느러미전방 비늘수가 36개인 점, 체색이 은백색이며 체측에 5개의 흑색 세로무늬가 있는 점, 하악 후단 봉합부, 등지느러미선단 및 꼬리지느러미 상엽 후단이 황색인 점이 특징적이다. 본 종의 신한국명으로, "검무늬학공치"를 제안한다.

A single specimen (522.0 mm in total length) of the family Muraenidae, collected from the waters off south-western Jeju-do Island in November 2021, was identified as Echidna nebulosa on the basis of morphological and molecular methods (DNA barcoding). This species is characterized by several morphological traits as follows: 10 rounded molar, median intermaxillary, and vomerine teeth; 4 predorsal vertebrae, 50 preanal vertebrae and 123 total vertebrae; and a pale background color with two rows of 17-20 blackish brown starry blotches along the head and body. As this is the first record of E. nebulosa in Korea, we propose the new Korean names, "Dung-Geun-Ni-Gom-Chi-Sog" for the genus Echidna, and "Beol-Kkok-Gom-Chi" for E. nebulosa.

A single specimen (30.35 mm standard length) of Ptereleotris evides was collected from the southern coast of Jejudo Island, Korea, in September 2017 during a skin diving outing. Ptereleotris evides is characterized by having a slightly elongated body, six spines on the 1^st dorsal fin, one spine and 25 soft rays on the 2^nd dorsal fin, 22 pectoral fin rays, one spine and four soft rays on the pelvic fin, one spine and 25 soft rays on the anal fin, and no disc in pelvic fin. This species differs from the congeneric species, P. hanae and P. heteroptera in having no elongated rays on the caudal fin and a black spot at the ventral margin of the caudal peduncle, respectively. Molecular analysis results based on mitochondrial DNA cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) sequences showed that our specimen almost corresponded to P. evides (99.82%) sequences from registered at the NCBI. As this is the first record of P. evides in Korean waters, we propose a new Korean name for it, "Ga-mak-cheong-hwang-mun-jeol".

제주도 남부 연안 수심 20 m 부근 암초역에서 채집된 씬벵이과 어류 1개체(표준체장 207.0 mm)를 근거로 Antennarius commerson을 한국 첫기록종으로 보고한다. 본 종은 낚시대(illicium)로 변형된 가늘고 긴 제1등지느러미가 제2등지느러미 가시보다 길고, 그 선단에 작은 다발 모양의 유인돌기(esca)가 있는 점, 등지느러미, 뒷지느러미, 가슴지느러미 연조수가 각각 13개, 8개, 11개인 점에서 같은 속의 유사종인 '흑점박씬벵이'와 쉽게 구별된다. 본 종의 한국명으로는 비록 수중사진으로 제안된 가칭이지만, '큰씬벵이'를 채택한다.

우리나라 거문도 연안에서 채집된 양쥐돔과 어류 1개체(332.6 mm in SL)의 표본을 근거로 Acanthurus xanthopterus를 국내 첫기록으로 보고한다. 본 종은 눈 앞에 노란색 가로줄 무늬가 있는 점, 등지느러미와 뒷지느러미에 4개의 푸른색 줄무늬가 있는 점, 가슴지느러미 가장자리에 노란색 띠가 있는 것이 특징이다. 본 종의 신한국 명으로 '노랑무늬양쥐돔'으로 제안한다.

제주도 연안에서 처음 채집된 동갈돔과 유어 1개체(체장 20.7 mm)를 근거로 Apogon semiornatus를 한국미기록종으로서 기재하였다. 본 종은 등지느러미 기조수 VI-I, 9, 가슴지느러미 기조수 12; 뒷지느러미 기조수 II, 8, 채색은 황적색 바탕으로 체측에 2개의 흑색 사행대가 있는 점에서 국내의 동속 유사종과 쉽게 구별되며, 국명은 '검은두줄붉은동갈돔'으로 명명하였다.

통나방과의 1종, Coleophora virgaureae Stainton의 국내분포를 처음으로 보고한다. 경기도 수리산에서 채집된 암컷 표본을 근거로 본 종의 종 동정에 필요한 성충과 생식기 사진을 함께 기재한다.

2015년 5월 우리나라 울산에서 Glossogobius olivaceus 1개체가 처음 채집되었다. 본 종은 목덜미에 검은 점이 다수 있고 머리에 감각공과 돌기가 발달되었으며, 측선비늘은 33개, 척추골은 27개이다. 본 속 및 종의 새로운 국명으로 "검은반점망둑속" 및 "검은반점망둑"을 제안한다.

A marine brown alga was collected from Geoje, located on the southern coast of Korea. This species shares the generic features of Dictyota and is morphologically characterized by the combined features of erect or prostrate thallus with smooth margin, dichotomous to subdichotomous branches not twisted at the terminal part, absence of surface proliferations, 1-3 cell layered cortex and unilayered medulla, and lack of involucrum in sporangia subtended by a single stalk cell. In a phylogenetic tree based on rbcL sequences, this species nests in the same clade with Dictyota bartayresiana. The genetic distance between both sequences within the clade was calculated as 1.2%, considered to be within the intra-species range for the genus. Based on these morphological and molecular analyses, this Korean alga is identified as D. bartayresiana described originally from the West Indies. This is the first record of D. bartayresiana in Korea.
