과전류 보호계전기용 광섬유 전류센서 (Fiber-Optic Current Transformer for the Over Current Protection Relay)

  • 과전류 보호계전기에 사용할 목적으로 광섬유를 센서헤드로 사용하는 광 전류센서를 구성하였다. 전류측정의 원리는 도체 주변에 감겨진 광섬유 코일을 따라 광신호의 선형편광축이 자기장에 의하여 회전하는 정도를 측정하여 이로부터 전류의 값을 산출하는 편광측정 방법이 사용되었다. 센서코일은 $10/125{\mu}m$ 규격의 일반 통신용 광섬유를 미터당 20회전 이상 비틀어 제작하여 온도나 진동 등의 환경적 영향을 최소화하였다. 코일의 한쪽 끝은 Faraday Rotator Mirror를 장착한 반사형으로 설계하여 계통을 해체하지 않은 상태에서도 센서의 탈 부착이 가능하고 코일의 회전수에 따라 센서의 민감도 조절이 용이하며 폐회로형 구조이므로 인근 신호원에 의한 간섭을 차단할 수 있다. 편광 빛가르개 등을 이용한 광학 신호처리부를 구성하고 표준 전류원을 이용한 전류측정 실험을 수행한 결과로 이론적인 해석과 동일한 형태의 출력을 얻을 수 있었다. 본 논문에서는 구성한 광 전류센서의 이론적 모델을 기술하고 전류측정 실험의 결과와 이론치에 대하여 비교 분석한다.

멀티센서를 이용한 마이크로 절삭 공정 모니터링 (The Cutting Process Monitoring of Micro Machine using Multi Sensor)

  • Recently, the monitoring technology of machining process is very important to improve productivity and quality in manufacturing filed. Such monitoring technology has been performed to measurement using vibration signal, acoustic emission signal and tool dynamometer. However, micro machining is limited small-scale parts machining because micro tool is very small and weakness to generate signal in micro machining process. Therefore, this study has efficient sensing technology for real monitoring system in micro machine that is proposed to supplement a disadvantage of single-sensor by multi sensor. From experimental result, it was evaluated tool wear and cutting situation according to repetitive slot cutting condition and changing cutting condition, and it was performed monitoring spindle rpm and condition according to compare acceleration signal with current signal.

  • Micronization of sensor is a trend of the silicon sensor development with regard to a piezoresistive silicon pressure sensor the size of the pressure sensor diaphragm have become smaller year by year and a microaccelerometer with a size less than 200-300${\mu}m$ has been realized. In this paper we study some of the micromachining processes of SOI(silicon on insulator)for the microaccelerometer and their subsequent processes which might affect thermal loads. The finite element method(FEM) has been a standard numerical modeling technique extensively utilized in structural engineering discipline for design of SOI wafers. Successful thermal behaviors analysis and design of the SOI wafers based on the tunneling current concept using SOI wafer depend on the knowledge abut normal mechanical properties of the SCS(single crystal silicon)layer and their control through manufacturing process

  • Because a sensor node must operate on a tiny battery, the goal to eliminate energy inefficiencies leads the current researchers excavating for new techniques to advocate. As sensor networks edge closer towards wide spread deployment, security issues become a central concern. So far much research has focused on making sensor networks feasible and useful, and has not concentrated much on security issues especially computationally inexpensive techniques. In this paper we introduce a simple scheme relying on one-way hash-functions that greatly enhances location privacy by changing traceable identifiers on every read getting by with only a single, unreliable message exchange. Thereby the scheme is safe from many threats like eavesdropping, message interception, spoofing, and replay attacks.

Ultraviolet Light Sensor Based on an Azobenzene-polymer-capped Optical-fiber End

  • We propose a simple ultraviolet (UV) sensor consisting of a conventional single-mode optical fiber capped with an azobenzene-moiety-containing polymer. The UV light changes the dimensions of the azobenzene polymer, as well as the refractive index of the material. Incident light with a wavelength of 1550 nm was reflected at the fiber/polymer and polymer/air interfaces, and interference of the reflected beams resulted in spectral interference that shifted the wavelength by 0.78 nm at a UV input power of $2.5mW/cm^2$. The UV sensor's response to wavelength is nonlinear and stable. The response speed of the sensor is limited by detection noise, which can be improved by modifying the insertion loss of the UV sensor and the signal-to-noise ratio of the detection system. The proposed compact UV sensor is easy to fabricate, is not susceptible to electromagnetic interference, and only reacts to UV light.

  • There is great interest in developing magnetoresistance(MR) sensor, using ferromagnetic, electrically non-magnetic conducting and antiferromagnetic films, especially for the use in weak magnetic fields. Here, we report single and Wheatstone-bridge type of MR sensors made in Si(001)/HiO(300$\AA$)/NiFe bilayers. Angular dependence of MR profiles was measured in Si(001)/NiO(300$\AA$)/NiFe(450$\AA$) films as a function of an angle between current and applied field direction, also, linearity was determined. AMR characteristics of single MR sensors was well explained with single domain model. Good linearity in 45$^{\circ}$Wheatstone-bridge type of MR sensors consisting of 4 single MR sensors made in Si(001)/NiO(300$\AA$)/NiFe(450$\AA$) was shown in the range of about $\pm$50 Oe.

송풍기용 단상 SRM의 구동특성 (Drive Characteristics of Single Phase SRM for Fan Application)

  • 이 논문에서는 단상 SRM의 새로운 구동 설계를 제안한다. 이 구동 설계는 매우 간단하고 저가이다. 이 설계는 간단한 전력 장치를 사용함으로 적은 스위칭 손실로 높은 효율의 SRM 구동을 가능하게 한다. 초기 구동시, 단상 SRM에서의 중요한 문제를 하나의 홀센서와 자석, 새로운 초기 구동 알고리즘에 의해 극복했다. 제안된 단상 SRM은 일반적인 모터의 것과 비교하여 고효율과 확실한 구동 특성을 가지고 있다.

비접촉식 전류 검출 장치에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Current Detector with Non Contact Type)

  • Commonly, a live-line alarm can be used to measure the electric field strength of a high-voltage system to calculate its current, but it is hard to detect the electric field of shielded cables or concealed structures, such as underground distribution cables. Current sensors can detect the magnetic field in a single core wire, but they cannot determine the magnetic field about a double-core wire because the currents flow in opposite directions. Therefore, it is very difficult to detect certain current problems, such as a fault current in an extension line comprised of a double line. In this paper, to ultimately develop a sensor that can detect the current regardless of line conditions, we used a simulation to determine the concentration of the magnetic field dependent on the distribution of the external magnetic field and the path of each line's core.

동기기를 사용한 계통연계형 가변속 풍력발전 시스템의 AC-DC-AC 컨버터 구현 및 제어 (Implementation and Control of AC-DC-AC Power Converter in a Grid-Connected Variable Speed Wind Turbine System with Synchronous Generator)

  • A 30kW electrical power conversion system is developed for a variable speed wind turbine. In the wind energy conversion system(WECS) a synchronous generator with field current excitation converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy. As the voltage and the frequency of the generator output vary according to the wind speed, a 6-bridge diode rectifier and a PWM boost chopper is utilized as an ac-dc converter maintaining the constant dc-link voltage with only single switch control. An input current control algorithm for maximum power generation during the variable speed operation is proposed without any usage of speed sensor. Grid connection type PWM inverter converts dc input power to ac output currents into the grid. The active power to the grid is controlled by q-axis current and the reactive power is controlled by d-axis current with appropriate decoupling. The phase angle of utility voltage is detected using software PLL(Phased Locked Loop) in d-q synchronous reference frame. Experimental results from the test of 30kW prototype wind turbine system show that the generator power can be controlled effectively during the variable speed operation without any speed sensor.

고감도 수소센서를 위한 팔라듐 나노선의 전기화학적인 성장 (Electrochemical Growth of Palladium Nanowire for Highly Sensitive Hydrogen Sensor)

  • 본 연구에서는 금속 전극사이에 팔라듐 나노선을 성장시키기 위해 직류와 이중전기영동 방법을 이용한 전기화학적 방법을 제안하였다. 팔라듐 나노선의 최적 성장 조건들을 파악하기 위해 교류의 인가 주파수 및 전압의 영향들이 조사되었다. 합성된 팔라듐 나노선들은 수백 나노미터의 직경과 $8\;{\mu}m$ 길이를 갖고 있으며, $1\;k{\Omega}$의 우수한 전기적 저항 특성을 보였다. 최종적으로 완성된 팔라듐 나노선들은 상온에서 수소 농도 100 ppm에서 2500 ppm의 범위에서 수소검출 평가를 수행하였으며, 수소센서에 적합한 우수한 검출 감도 및 응답시간을 보였다.
