In this paper, we designed simultaneous 2-axis control system using commercialized custom ICs for positioning and interpolation that is very compact and high reliable. This system is primarily designed for NC system, we verified it is more complete than the other hardware & software based system in its function, control accuracy and cost. Also, this system can be expanded for multi-axis control, it can be applied to the control of more complicated mechanism such as articulated robot.

It is essential to estimate an effective inductance in a ground plane of muliti-layer IC package system in order to determine the simultaneous switching noise of the package. A new method to estimate the effective ground inductance in multi-layer IC package is presented. With the estimated ground plane inductance values, maximum switching noise variations according to the number of simultaneously switching drivers are investigated by developing a new SSN model. These results are verified by performing HSPICE simulation with the 0.35${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ CMOS technology.

New scouring agent which was stable up to 50% NaOH 350g/l has been developed for simultaneous CPB/silket treatment of N/C union fabric. The physical and dyeing properties of N/C union fabric treated with new scouring agent were measured. Fabric scoured and Mercerized by one bath CPB/silket process showed almost the same degree of Mercerization and K/S value with two bath process.

A procedure for the simultaneous determination of reducing sugar, nicotine alkaloid, total sugar and ammonia has been developed. The four components of tobacco extracted from ground tobacco sample with 2 % acetic acid were deter mined with a Technicon autoanalyzer system. The relative errors in burley and flue-cured tobacco leaves were 3.6% in comparison with each official methods.

In this paper, we propose a novel fault isolation filter design method using the left eigenstructure assignment scheme proposed by Choi et. al., The proposed filter shows good fault isolation performance with exact eigenstructure assignment. An eigenstructure assignment methodology which satisfies the required fault isolation conditions is also proposed. The proposed method guarantees that the corrupted m simultaneous faults can be isolated when the number of available output measurements are (m+1).

This paper deals with four types of multiple unit simultaneous auctions such as the discriminating. uniform-price, lowest accepted-price, and progressive auctions. These auctions have been studied by Vickrey, Ortega-Reichert, Herris and Raviv and so forth. In this paper, their studies are extended to the case with a reserve price and an entry fee, and then the equilibrium bidding strategy are presented. Further, those are analyzed with respect to the change of a reserve price, an entry fee, and the number of bidders and objects.

In this study, a position and force simultaneous trajectory tracking control algorithm is proposed for a driving apparatus that consists of two pneumatic cylinders connected in series. The controller applied to the driving apparatus is composed of a non-interaction controller to compensate for interaction between cylinders and a disturbance observer aimed to reduce the effect of model discrepancy that cannot be compensated by the non-interaction controller. The effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm is proved by experimental results.

Air space disorders are usually considered medical diseases, although some patients with air space disorders can benefit from surgical intervention. Recently we experienced two cases of bullous emphysema. One case is large bilateral apical bullae and the other is infected large bulls of RUL with bullous emphysema. The patient with large bilateral apical bullae underwent simultaneous operation via bilateral thoracotomy and other patient underwent simultaneous bilateral operation via median sternotomy. Postoperatively, the patient with large bilateral apical bullae showed subjective as well as objective improvement and other patient is resulted subjective improvement.

A short-ended electromagnetically coupled coaxial dipole array antenna is investigated theoretically. The antenna has an advantage of structural simplicity. The integral equations are derived for the proposed structure by use of the Fourier transform and mode expansion, and the simultaneous linear equations are obtained. The slot electric field and strip current are obtained by solving the simultaneous linear equations. The effects of slot and strip numbers on the radiation efficiency, beamwidth and directivity gain of the antenna are presented.
