DOC-DPF-SCR 시스템에 의한 디젤 배기 내 $NO_x$, 입자상 물질 저감 과정의 일관 모델링 및 성능 예측 (Unified Modeling and Performance Prediction of Diesel $NO_x$ and PM Reduction by DOC-DPF-SCR System)

  • Computer methods with simplified mathematical models in conjunction with empirical model parameters can be efficiently practiced into an optimization of a diesel aftertreatment system. Components of prime interests are diesel particulate filter, diesel oxidation catalyst and de-$NO_x$ catalytic converter. de-$NO_x$, de-PM, and de-HC processes in each part are individually modeled, formulated and then combined into an integrated analysis procedure for a unified simulation of the diesel emission aftertreatment. The model is empirically tuned and validated with comprehensive engine and laboratory data. The effects of emission species and space velocity on the $NO_x$ and soot reductions are parametrically investigated. A lowered $NO_2/NO_x$ ratio due to PM oxidation in DPF contributes to promote the $NO_x$ reduction by SCR at intermediate gas temperatures. $NO_x$ reduction is inert to the PM oxidation at high temperatures. Rate of PM trapping strongly depends on temperature and $NO_x$ concentration.

  • 역학연구에서 두 수준을 갖는 위험인자 X와 이항 반응변수 Y의 관계에 관심을 갖는 경우가 많다. 이 때 두 변수의 상관관계에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 인자 Z의 값을 제어함에 따라 X와 Y의 상관관계가 여전히 존재하는지를, 즉 X와 Y의 조건부 독립성을 검정할 필요가 있다 관측값의 수가 많지 않을 때, X와 Y의 조건부 독립성 검정을 위해 Mantel-Haenszel 검 정 이 널리 사용되고 있다. 하지 만 X와 Y의 상관관계가 Z의 수준에 따라 그 방향까지 변할 경우 이 검정은 낮은 검정력을 갖는다. 본 연구에서는 이 경우에 높은 검정력을 갖는 대안 검정통계량을 제안한다. 대안 검정통계량의 분포에 대해 알아보고 모의실험을 통해 Mantel-Haenszel 검정과 비교해 본다.

Development of simulation model for fuel efficiency of agricultural tractor

  • The objective of this study is to predict the fuel efficiency of an agricultural tractor. The fuel efficiency of the tractor during rotary tillage was predicted using numerical modeling. A numerical model was developed using Simulation X. Based on tractor power flow, numerical modeling consisted of an engine, transmission, PTO (power take off), and hydraulics. The specifications of major components utilized in the numerical model were the same as those of a 71 kW tractor (field test tractor). The load that was inputted for fuel efficiency prediction into the simulation model was obtained from a field test. Fuel efficiency predictions were conducted by comparing field test results and simulation results. In addition, it was performed by dividing the rotary tillage and steering section. Main results are as follows: first, t-values of engine torque were measured to be 0.31 in the rotary tillage and 0.92 in the steering section. Second, t-values of fuel consumption were measured to be 0.51 and 5.41 in the rotary tillage and the steering section, respectively. Finally, t-values of fuel efficiency were measured to be 1.72 and 40 in the rotary tillage and the steering section, respectively. The results show no significant differences with t-values of less than 5% in the rotary tillage. But, it shows significant differences in the steering section. Therefore, simulation for accurate fuel efficiency prediction requires a suitable algorithm or detailed design of the simulation model in the steering section.

컴퓨터 통신 네트워크의 보안성을 위한 공개키 배낭 암호시스템에 대한 연구 (A Study on Public Key Knapsack Cryptosystem for Security in Computer Communication Networks)

  • 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 통신 네트워크의 데이터 안전을 위해서 다항식을 인수분해 하는 데 어려움이 있는 공개키 다항식 배낭 암호시스템 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 공개키 다항식 배낭 암호시스템은 먼저, 초증가 벡터 P를 변환하여 다항식 벡터 Q(x,y,z)를 형성하고, 다항식 g(x,y,z)를 선택한다. 이러한 두개의 다항식 Q(x,y,z)와 g(x,y,z)를 공개키로 한다. 공개키 다항식 Q(x,y,z), g(x,y,z)와 난수 $\alpha$를 사용하여 평문을 암호화하여 암호문 R(x,y,z)을 수신자에게 보낸다. 수신자는 암호문 R(x,y,z)을 g(x,y,z)=0의 근, x, y와 z 그리고 비밀키 벡터의 초증가성을 사용하여 평문을 구하게 된다. 따라서 해독과정에서 3변수 다항식 g(x,y,z)=0의 인수분해의 어려움 때문에 안전성을 갖는 공개키 다항식 배낭 암호시스템으로 된다. 제안된 공개키 다항식 배낭 암호시스템의 타당성을 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 입증하였다.

초기공정에서 X-R 통계량을 이용한 신경망 관리도 설계 (The Design of a neural network control chart using X-R statistics in start-up process)

  • I propose the control chart pattern to provide a more comprehensive scheme for detecting process X and R shifts using individual observations in start-up process. It is important to automate the identification of special disturbances to facilitate real-time manufacturing. This papers formulates X-R charts for interpretation by artificial neural networks. In this papers, which uses the backpropagation algorithm, two samples are fed into the trained neural network to provide outputs ranging from 0 to 1. Simulation results sow that the performance of the proposed control chart using the neural network(NNCC) is quite promising. Using these NN charts, guidelines are given for detecting and classifying process X and R shifts.

가중표준편차를 이용한 가변표본채취간격 $\bar{X}$ 관리도 (Variable Sampling Interval $\bar{X}$ Control Chart Using Weighted Standard Deviation Method)

  • This article proposes a variable sampling interval (VSI) $\bar{X}$ control chart using weighted standard deviation (WSD) method for skewed populations. The WSD method decomposes the standard deviation of a quality characteristic into upper and lower deviations and adjusts control limits and warning limits of a control chart in accordance with the direction and degree of skewness. A control chart constant is derived for estimating the standard deviation of skewed distributions with the mean of sample standard deviations. The proposed chart is compared with the conventional VSI $\bar{X}$ control chart under some skewed distributions. Simulation study shows that the proposed WSD VSI chart can control the in-control average time to signal (ATS) as an adequate level better than the conventional VSI chart, and the proposed chart can detect a decrease in the process mean of a quality characteristic following a positively skewed distribution more quickly than the standard VSI chart.

바랙터 다이오드를 이용한 X-밴드 전압제어 발진기 (X-band Voltage Controlled Oscillator using Varactor Diode)

  • In this paper, a X band voltage controlled oscillator is proposed. The oscillator uses a transistor as an oscillating element and its oscillating frequencies are controlled by the tuning voltage of varactor diode. Using the circuit simulation tools, the matching circuits between the transistor and varactor diode, its input and output matching circuits, and a feedback circuits are designed. The measured results of the fabricated oscillator show that its oscillation frequencies are from 10.50GHz to 10.88GHz according to the turning voltages of 1V to 18V, its output power levels are about 4.3dBm, and its phase noise is around -43.5dBc/Hz at 100kHz offset frequency of 10.5GHz.

제산방법에 의한 Reed-Solomon 부호의 개선된 복호알고리듬 (Improved Decoding Algorithm on Reed-Solomon Codes using Division Method)

  • Decoding algorithm of noncyclic Reed-Solomon codes consists of four steps which are to compute syndromes, to find error-location polynomial, to decide error-location, and to solve error-values. There is a decoding method by which the computation of both error-location polynomial and error-evaluator polynimial can be avoided in conventional decoding methods using Euclid algorithm. The disadvantage of this method is that the same amount of computation is needed that is equivalent to solve the avoided polynomial. This paper considers the division method on polynomial on GF(2$^{m}$) systematically. And proposes a novel method to find error correcting polynomial by simple mathematical expression without the same amount of computation to find the two avoided polynomial. Especially. proposes the method which the amount of computation to find F (x) from the division M(x) by x, (x-1),....(x--${\alpha}^{n-2}$) respectively can be avoided. By applying the simple expression to decoding procedure on RS codes, propses a new decoding algorithm, and to show the validity of presented method, computer simulation is performed.

Asymptotic Expansion of the Distribution of a Studentized Test Statistic for the Slope Parameter in a Simple Linear Structural Relationship

  • Variables, x and y are said to have a linear relation if $y={\beta}_0+{\beta}_1\;x$, and ${\beta}_0$ and ${\beta}_1$ are constants. The relationship is called a structural relationship if x has positive variance (i.e., x is not fixed) and only error-prone measurements of x and y can be obtained. This paper derives (to order $n^{+1/2}$) an approximate distribution of the Studentized test statistic for testing hypotheses about the slope parameter, ${\beta}_1$ in a simple linear structural model. A simulation study suggests our approximate distribution is more accurate approximation to the exact distributions of the Studentized statistic than is the limiting distribution.

자동차 릴레이스 위치 생산공정의 작업자수 선정을 위한 시뮬레이션 연구 (A Simulation Study on the Number of Operators of Automobile Relay Switch Production)

  • In this paper, a production process system simulation of the automobile relay switch manufacturing factory is studied. The status of the present production system is inspected first, and the modified model is simulated next. To inspect the effect of the process parameter change, a simulation program is developed using PROMODEL simulation software plus the EXCEL VBA and Active X Automation function. Using the developed simulation program, user can find the best production condition and alternatives on the production capacity, number of workers, and inspection status considering the defective ratio of the product. The feasibility of the new alternatives is compared with the present system using statistical method.
