융합적 관점의 중학교 보건교과서 삽화분석 (Analyzing illustration in health textbooks of middle school in the convergent point of view)

  • 교과서에 제시되어 학습 자료로 활용되는 삽화는 그 자체로서의 의미보다는 학습의 기본 요소를 해설 설명하기 위한 자료로서 이용되고, 지식을 알게 되는 과정에 따라 적절하게 제시될 때 교육적 가치를 지니게 된다. 본 연구에서는 중학교 보건교과서 4종을 대상으로 외형적 및 내용적 분석을 위한 분석기준을 새롭게 구성하고, 융합적 관점에서 분석하여 그 실태를 알아보았다. 이는 삽화가 보건교육 해설서에 제시된 교육목표를 달성하기 위해 요구되는 개선점 등을 파악하여 향후 교과서 개발에 도움을 주는 정책적인 제언을 하고자 함이다. 그 결과 다음을 알 수 있었다. 첫째 외형적(frame)인 측면에서는 건강 및 보건활동의 원리를 설명하는데 적합한 기능을 갖는 도해의 빈도가 높아져야 하겠다. 둘째, 내용적인 측면에서는 단순한 자료제공이나 장식기능의 삽화 빈도는 줄이고 실험결과 등의 삽화 빈도는 늘림으로써 보건 교과서가 보건교육의 목표에 더욱 부합되도록 재구성될 필요가 있다고 하겠다.

  • 철도차량의 경량화 일환으로 대차 프레임 스킨제작에 복합소재를 적용하여 RTM 기법으로 제조하는 방안을 검토하였다. RTM 기법은 공정설비의 단순화 및 복잡한 형상의 대형 구조물을 짧은 시간에 제조할 수 있는 장점이 있다. RTM 공정에서는 구조물에 기공이 갇힐 수 있기 때문에 수지 주입구와 배출구의 개수 및 위치 선정이 중요하다. 이번 연구에서는 섬유 프리폼의 투과성 계수를 등방성과 이방성 특성으로 구분하여 RTM 성형특성을 수치해석을 통해 예측하였다. 그로부터 투과성 계수에 따른 기공 형성과 성형 시간의 예측 및 수지 배출구의 최적 위치 등 공정조건을 선정하기 위한 대차 프레임 스킨의 RTM 성형 충전패턴을 분석하였다.

계통 연계형 단상 인버터의 단독 운전 모드를 위한 정지좌표계 전압 제어기 (Stationary Reference Frame Voltage Controller for Single Phase Grid Connected Inverter for Stand Alone Mode)

  • A grid connected inverter must be operated as the main electricity source under an isolated condition caused by the grid problem. Conventionally, the dual loop controller is used for the grid inverter, and the controller is used for control under the stand-alone mode. Generally, the PI(Proportional - Integral) controller is highly efficient under a synchronous reference frame, and stable control can be available. However, in this synchronous frame-based control, high-quality DSP is required because many sinusoidal calculations are necessary. When the PI control is conducted under a stationary frame, the controller constructions are made simple so that they work even with a low-price micro controller. However, given the characteristics of the PI controller, it should be designed with the phase of reference voltage considered. Otherwise, the phase delay of the output voltage can occur. Although the current controller also has a higher bandwidth than the voltage controller, distortion of the voltage is difficult to avoid only by the rapid response of the PI controller, as a sudden load change can occur in the nonlinear load. In this study, a new control method that solves the voltage controller bandwidth problem and rapidly copes with it even in the nonlinear load situation is proposed. The validity of the proposed method is proved by simulation and experimental results.

GOP 레이어 비트율 제어를 위한 초기 QP 모델링 (Initial QP Modeling for GOP Layer Rate Control)

  • 비디오 코딩에서 GOP의 첫 번째 프레임은 많은 비트를 발생시키는 인트라 모드로 압축되고 다음 프레임의 인터 모드 압축에 사용되기 때문에 첫 프레임을 위한 초기 QP 값은 첫 프레임뿐만 아니라 이후 프레임에도 영향을 주게 된다. 일반적으로 초기 QP 값은 bpp 값에 따라 4가지 값 중에 하나로 설정된다. 이렇게 설정하는 것은 간단한 반면 부정확한 문제가 있다. 정확한 초기 QP 값 예측을 위해서는 bpp 뿐만 아니라 영상의 복잡도와 전송률도 함께 고려하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 GOP의 인코딩 특성을 분석하여 전체 GOP의 PSNR 값을 최대로 하는 초기 QP 값을 찾기 위한 트래픽 모델과 실시간 영상 압축에서 모델 파라미터를 실시간으로 구하는 방법을 제안한다. 실험 결과는 제안하는 모델이 초기 QP 계산에 필요한 트래픽 특성을 잘 반영하고 있으며 또한 실시간으로 모델 파라미터를 구하는 방법도 효과적으로 작동함을 보여준다.

다종소재 접합을 위한 SPR(Self-Piercing Riveting)용 C-프레임 강성 최적설계 (Optimal Stiffness Design of Self-Piercing Riveting's C-Frame for Multimaterial Joining)

  • In this study, an optimal stiffness model of the C-frame, which was supporting the mold and tool load, was proposed to obtain quality self-piercing riveting (SPR) joining. First, the load path acting on the C-frame structure was identified using topology optimization. Then, a final suggested model was proposed based on the load path results. Stiffness and strength analyses were performed for a rivet pressing force of 7.3 [t] to compare the design performance of the final proposed model with that of the initial model. Moreover, to examine the reliability of continuous and repeated processes, vibration analysis was performed and the dynamic stiffness of the final proposed model was reviewed. Additionally, fatigue analysis was performed to ascertain the fatigue characteristics due to simple repetitive loading. Finally, stiffness test was performed for the final proposed model to verify the analysis results. The obtained results differed from the analysis result by 2.9%. Consequently, the performance of the final proposed model was superior to that of the initial model with respect to not only the SPR fastening quality but also the reliability of continuous and repetitive processes.

  • Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM) has merits in both simple electrical controllability of dc motor and mechanical reliability of ac motor by applying vector control. The vector control method orients the armature current phasor to be perpendicular to the permenant magnet rotor flux in a two-axis coordinate frame, and provides control characteristics that are similar to those of separately excited dc motors. This paper presents a simple model following scheme for position control of PMSM fed by hysteresis current-controlled PWM inverter. The simulation results show the validity of the proposed control method.

  • In evolutionary algorithm, there exist various models for the evolution of the population with respect to schemes and strategies for reproduction. In the application of the algorithm to a specific problem, one model suitable to the problem is to be properly chosen and a program expert or a software is needed to help implement and test a designed algorithm. In this study, the software for simple evolutionary algorithms(SEA) with one population is developed. The software is designed as an application framework type, so that it may be friendly, allow users to add some program, and operate under the environment of Windows. For this, hierarchical classes for components of SEA are first designed by means of an object-oriented approach and then a library for SEA is built by them. With the library, developed is an application framework that can generate a frame code for an application program. The software proposed here can be used as a generalized tool for solving problems in a wide range of domains.

  • There are many types of grid-connected inverter controllers; Synchronous Reference Frame (SRF)-based controller is the most popular methods. SRF-based controller is capable for reducing both of zero-steady state error and phase delay. However, SRF-based controller has a complex algorithm to apply in real application such as digital processor. Resonant controller is also reduced zero-steady state error, but its transfer function has a high order. In this paper, a simple proportional control is applied for grid connected inverter with LCL filter. LCL filter is a third order system. Applying a simple proportional controller is not increased the order of closed loop transfer function. By this technique, the single phase model is easily obtained. To reduce steady state error, proportional gain is set as high as possible, but it may produce instability. To compromise between a minimum steady state error and stability, the single phase model is evaluate through Root Locus and Bode diagram. PSIM simulation is used to verify the analysis.

  • In this paper, we present a design of mpeg-4 video codec chip to reduce the power consumption using frame level clock gating and motion estimation skip scheme. It performs 30 grames/s of codec (encoding and decoding) mode with quarter-common intermediate format(QCIF) at 27MHz. A novel low-power techniques were implemented in architectural level, which is 35% of the power dissipation for a conventional CMOS design. This chip performs MPEG-4 Simple Profile Level 2(Simple@L2) and H.263 base mode. Its contains 388,885 gates, 662k bits memory, and the chip size was 9.7 mm x 9.7 mm which was fabricated using 0.35 micron 3-layers metal CMOS technology.

  • Recently, many countries have attempted to protect their satellites from damage caused by space debris. To design these collision avoidance maneuvers, optimal algorithms based on numerical simulations are widely used due to their practicality. However, these algorithms often require a great expenditure of time in order to find solutions. Therefore, in this paper, a simple analytical strategy is suggested to find the initial prediction required to find these numerical solutions for collision avoidance maneuvers by using relative dynamics for the rendezvous and docking problems. For this analytical strategy, the simple dynamics on the CW (Clohessy-Wiltshire) frame is adopted as an attempt to introduce an analytical solution.
