With the development of technology and media and the pursuit of non-face-to-face due to the corona pandemic, the influence of live commerce, a real-time streaming shopping channel, is growing. Starting from China, the popularity of live commerce is growing all over the world, and it has become an interesting topic among many practitioners and researchers. However, compared to its popularity, there are few studies on live commerce. Therefore, we build a theoretical model in terms of IT affordance such as visibility, guidance shopping, trading, and meta-voicing and investigate how live commerce affects engagement with customers. We empirically measure 428 individuals who have used live commerce using survey data. In addition, we conduct four types of scenario experiments on whether social cues on exposures of other consumers, influence customer engagement. Our results show that trading affordance has the most significant effect. This shows that the live commerce platform may want to devise a program that helps make payment easier for users who prefer a quick and simple process. Our study contributes to the literature by presenting the importance of IT affordance for live commerce.
The customer's bulletin board is the important channel to get opinions from customers directly. The effective management of the bulletin board for the customer improves the reliance by providing the best replies and by accepting opinions of the customer and furthermore, that can raise the customer's reliance of the whole shopping mall is the important eCRM method. But, the present mostly customer's bulletin board is been replied without any classifying about many kinds of question. Consequently, The shopping mall should do systematic management of the best professional reply about many kinds of question. In order to resolve this problem, we implement a classifier called Naive Bayesian classifier is classified automatically bulletin board for eCRM of shopping mall.
Visual characters used in television affect the viewers in a different way from printed media. This paper analyzed the visual characters presented in each home shopping channel and their year-by-year characteristics in terms of layouts. Based on the results, the readability was analyzed according to different layouts, suggesting optimal layouts that allows for better communication with the viewers. The purpose of this study is thus to focus on the visual character layouts, which have not been fully explored to date, in order to identify the most effective one among basic locations of visual characters. The results indicate that the bottom location shows higher readability than top. The right side showed higher preference than left, while readability did not demonstrate a significant difference. As for the L-bar and reverse L-bar, the L-bar arrangement was shown preferable in terms of readability. Finally, the layout should be determined considering the readability by location.

As PB market segments into premium market, PBs were drawing attentions in terms of creating profits as well as a means to differentiate building up store identity. The purpose of this study makes a comparative study on the difference of consumer attitude formation process in discount store and home-shopping distribution channel which are recently on the upswing. This paper investigated the consumer's attitude formation on the private apparel brand. Subjects of this study were consumers in their $20s{\sim}40s$ who are main customer groups of PBs. The data were analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling and Multi-Group Analysis of Amos 5.0 to verify the difference of the path between store PB and premium PB. Following are the results of the study. Consumer attitude formation path on PB grades showed statistically noticeable difference. In discount store PB, store evaluation didn't directly influence on consumer attitude formation but showed indirect effect. On the other hand, in home shopping premium PB case, product evaluation directly influenced on consumer attitudes with store evaluation. Hedonic attitude dimension connected with behavioral attitude(purchase intention) revealed difference in path. Also consumer's evaluation on variables in model turned out to be different according to brand grade.
KakaoTalk has become a reputed mobile social network and an inseparable part of people's lives by leading the mobile industry in South Korea. However, there is a lack of studies in academia regarding perception of the consumers and assessment toward the mobile marketing and services by KakaoTalk. Based on the theoretical orientation of Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM: Petty & Cacioppo, 1986) and electronic service quality (E-S-QUAL: Parasuraman, Zeithaml, & Malhotra, 2005), this study investigates the effects of information sources (Charles & Richard, 1988), and examines the consumer perception toward the service quality of KakaoTalk. A total of 209 responses were collected, using a self-administered survey in Seoul and Gyeonggi province, South Korea from March 2015 to June 2015. A seven-point Likert scale survey was developed to measure the information sources (i.e., argument quality, post popularity, and post attractiveness), electronic service quality (i.e., efficiency, fulfillment, privacy, and system availability), attitude (i.e., usefulness, preference, and overall attitude), and behavioral intention (i.e., like intention, share intention, and purchase intention). This study reveals a consensus that an online environment is different from the traditional retail context in terms of information source and service quality. Specifically, the results indicate that argument quality greatly impacts the attitudes of the individuals and their behavioral intention toward mobile shopping via social media channel. The most powerful factor among E-S-QUAL is "efficiency." This dimension of service quality influences the customer perception of usefulness and preference as well as share and like intention toward mobile shopping on KakaoTalk.
Consumers can share their diverse opinions about products due to the increased popularity of smartphones and the internet that enables increased access to the websites and encourages the use of 'SNS' (Social Network Services). Social commerce has expanded rapidly as a mainstream online shopping channel over the past year, compelling consumers to spend more money vis-$\grave{a}$-vis social commerce websites. This allows individuals to see different lists of prices for specific products; however, it is also likely to lead to serious compulsive buying. Despite these changing trends, earlier studies have been limited to factors that affect impulse purchases vis-$\grave{a}$-vis Internet shopping malls; therefore, in is salient to conduct research on consumer spending habits related to social commerce websites. This study describes the characteristics of consumers and utilizes social commerce websites as parameters for the impact of impulsive shopping based on a survey of 300 women in their 20's who have experienced impulse buying vis-$\grave{a}$-vis social commerce websites. This study shows that: First, discounts, product scarcity and social commerce site's reputation affect impulse buying when consumers buy products from the social commerce websites. Second, variables on the characteristics of the personal experiences, interests, and self-control also stimulate impulsive purchases.
As the postsecondary school-age population continues to decline, universities are building identities to differentiate themselves and create a favorable impression among this cohort. We investigated the role of logo-bearing products as a way of promoting university identity, specifically, the effects of ingroup ties, ingroup affect, and centrality on attitude toward university logo products and purchase intention. This study further examined the moderating effects of perceived university prestige on the relationship between logo product attitude and in-store purchase intention, and the moderating effect of online shopping frequency on the relationship between logo product attitude and online purchase intention. We conducted a survey of undergraduate and graduate students at a university in Seoul. Survey responses (N=561) were collected and processed using SPSS 23.0. Multiple regression analysis showed that ingroup ties and affect had significant effects on product attitude. However, centrality had no significant effect on attitude toward the product. Product attitude had a direct significant effect on both in-store and online purchase intention. Perceived university prestige moderated the relationship between product attitude and in-store purchase intention. Moreover, online shopping frequency moderated the relationship between product attitude and online purchase intention. The results of this study are expected to provide fundamental knowledge for developing product strategy of logo products.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of trust when a media broadcaster (such as a disc jockey [DJ]) acting as an information source and the content they provide during live commerce streaming affect acceptance intention. Live commerce is increasing rapidly, offering a new fashion distribution channel by supplementing possible shortcomings of existing online shopping. Data was collected for the empirical study from female consumers in their 20s who actively accepted fashion technology. Statistical analysis of the data was conducted using IBM SPSS Macro Process 3.5. First, the reliability and validity of the variables for information source characteristics, content informativeness, trust, and acceptance intention were verified, and each variable was confirmed as a single factor. Bootstrap analysis was performed using Macro Process Model 4 to reveal the effects of information source characteristics and content informativeness on acceptance intention. As a result of analyzing the mediating effect for each path model with trust as a parameter, it was found that both the direct and indirect effects of the mediating path were significant. This result means that the characteristics of information sources and content informativeness are partially mediated by trust. Therefore, to promote consumer behavior in a live commerce shopping environment, it is necessary to enhance trust. This can be achieved by a media broadcaster with fashion expertise to increase the perception of the attractiveness of the information source and to improve the usefulness of the fashion information being delivered.
A growing number of fashion brands and retailers are actively adopting live streaming as a new marketing channel. In spite of the increasing use of live commerce, the effects of live streaming commerce on customer purchasing behavior for fashion products are not fully understood. The purpose of this study is to examine factors affecting consumers' attitudes toward a purchase via fashion live streaming commerce (FLSC) and intention to use FLSC. The study also investigated whether consumers' expenditure on fashion and time spent on mobile shopping moderate the relationships among research variables. A total of 230 questionnaires were analyzed through descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis, and multiple-group comparison tests using SPSS and AMOS. A summary of the main results of this study is as follows. First, the perception of the attributes of FLSC (ease of use, economic efficiency, interactivity, and enjoyment) has a positive effect on attitude toward a purchase via FLSC. The ease of use and economic efficiency of FLSC, in particular, have greater impacts on attitudes than other factors. Secondly, attitudes toward FLSC positively impact the intention to use FLSC. Lastly, the results of group comparisons, by fashion expenditure and time spent on mobile shopping respectively, hold no significant moderation effects among the variables. These findings demonstrate that consumers are more likely to use FLSC as they form a positive attitude by the attributes of FLSC mentioned earlier. The study provides some insights on an exploration of live streaming commerce for fashion product sales.

In the e-commerce, the conversion into the multi-media is the important issue. According to the research by Nielsen Korea, the 83% of customers who purchase the products in the e-commerce utilize multi-channel to buy the products such as mobile and online [3]. Thus, to effectively implement online advertising, marketers should understand the customers' path [15] in the multi-channel. The study of the multi-site activities plays an important role to predict customers' purchase [28]. To explain the e-commerce site visit activities of customers, we have developed research model in terms of the online advertising. This research model is based on the study of Moe and Fader [23]. There are two types of composition in the research model. First, general site visit as an exploratory search have net effect on the shopping site visit because customers could acquire or develop information on the e-commerce site via online advertising. Secondly, the e-commerce site visit as a goal-directed search cause threshold of the e-commerce site visit because customers could achieve their goal. When the threshold is increased, the probability of a shopping site visit is decreased and vice versa. Thus, we have investigated the impact of customers' previous visit activities (general site visit and shopping site visit) on the next e-commerce site visit in terms of dynamic view. Research data was provided by Cheil World Wide. This panel data include mobile and online log data of panelists from Jan. 2013 to March 2013. As the results, the customers' e-commerce site visit on the online media would decrease the probability of e-commerce site visit because these visit activities increase the threshold of e-commerce site visit. This result is similar with the previous study [23]. Otherwise, since e-commerce site visit on the mobile media decrease the threshold, the customers' probability of e-commerce site visit would increase In summary, the site visit activities on the mobile could improve the probability of e-commerce site visits.
