The purpose of this study is to examine how the Korean classic novel "Shimcheong-jeon" has transformed in juvenile literature since the 2000s. Classical novels are far from modern and temporal, differ from modern cultures. Classic novels are also different from the lives and thoughts of modern children. It is therefore difficult for modern child readers to easily understand or agree with classical novels. In order for classical novels to have the meaning in the present, it is necessary to pay attention to the encounter between classical novels and children's literature. In the case of "Shimcheong-jeon", unlike other classical novels, there are many creative fairy tales. There are seven kinds of fairy tales that transformed "Shimcheong-jeon". They are diverse in genres such as picture books, fairy tales, and juvenile fiction, and are intended for a variety of ages. These works are described in various perspectives such as, Shimcheong who is full of desire, Shim Hakgyu who is disabled, Ppaengdeog's mother who has maternity and subjectivity, The dragon of the dragon king and Byeogdeog who loves Shimcheong, and Shin Cheong who has a dream. The themes of the works vary. So, These works extend our expectations for classical literature. Fairy tales that transformed "Shimcheong-jeon" reflect the lives of children and youths, this is important because it can reduce the distance between classical novels and children and youth readers. Classical novels are modernized and give new meaning to modern children and youths. And it reflects the characteristics of the novels of Pansori's "Shimcheong-jeon", preserving the value of classics. Tears of Paengdeok is a story that explains the origin of Pansori "Shimcheong-ga", and inserts some lyrics of Pansori, in the case of Cheong, Cheong, Pansori style is used. Although humor is the greatest feature of pansori, there are few of Fairy tales that transformed "Shimcheong-jeon". It is a direction to worry and to orient when transforming "Shimcheong-jeon" into a fairy tale.

In this paper, I examine how the voice of Simcheong is reproduced and the meaning of it by examining the reconstruction method and characteristics of . And I tried to explore the possibilities and directions of contents based on classical literature by exploring the way in which this text reintermediation, and recreates the narrative of . This work deals with the story of ShimChung, and sees the problematic aspects of ShimChung's sacrifice and death through the gaze of the surrounding people such as the Namkyeong merchant and Guideok's mother while excluding the central characters Shimcheong and Shimbongsa. In the process, the voice of Simcheong was discovered as a victim and social hit. And It connects this with the discourse of filial duty and virtuous woman which regulates the life of women in the patriarchal society and establishes the place of social public opinion about the life of the women of the Joseon era. In this way, is presented the possibility of a new interpretation of . Also readers and audiences of present-day have an opportunity to reconsider the 'sacrifice' of social subordinate based on deep understanding of .

This study was conducted to review strategic and effective utilization plans and suggest desirable development plans, taking into account the cultural and social values and ideologies of the local government's OSMU strategy and regional economic goals. To this end, the concept and characteristics of OSMU, domestic and international success cases were reviewed, and analyzed the detailed strategies, development results and achievements of Hong Gil-dong theme park in Jangseong-gun, and Simcheong theme park in Gokseong-gun. As a result of these analyses, first, it was confirmed that the Hong Gil-dong theme park and the Simcheong theme park were rational and justifiable choices that emphasized locality and publicity, the core of the local government's OSMU strategy. Second, it was confirmed that while Hong Gil-dong theme park achieved more stable and successful results, Simcheong theme park had poor achievement without utilizing the excellence and valuable goals of the original contents. Therefore, in order to achieve sustainable development while harmoniously satisfying the publicity and profitability, ideology and effectiveness, justification and economics of OSMU strategies of local governments, various research, reflection and work must be continuously carried out.

In Korea, Pbichim refers to a psychological state caused by emotional damages that can occur within close relationships. In this state, one might feel reluctant to express one's feelings directly to the other party. It is also possible that Pbichim transforms into anger. This study is aimed to define the term Pbichim as an indigenous psychological concept. In Korea, it is common to express one's feelings indirectly and read the other party's inward thoughts. Pbichim reflects those cultural aspects. In order to examine the representation of Pbichim in Korea, we developed a questionnaire consisting of 15 open-ended questions. The participants were 119 undergraduate and graduate students at Korea University, and the data was analyzed qualitatively. As a result, four different aspects of Pbichim (unsatisfied expectation, being ignored, being alienated, and power struggle) could be differentiated by the situation in which people are likely to present Pbichim. The personality traits of Pbichim, the way of relieving it, as well as positive and negative functions of Pbichim were also elicited. In addition, it was found that Pbichim (the concept that has been negatively perceived) has an important function in maintaining and improving an interpersonal relationship in Korea. Lastly, the importance of mind reading within a certain cultural context is discussed.
