유송잡물에 의한 홍수위 상승 영향분석 - 삽교천의 선우대교를 중심으로 - (A Study for the Water Rising Effect on Flood Water Level by Debris)

  • 본 연구에서는 교량 건설 중 가설되는 가교에 집적되는 유송잡물로 인한 교량 상 하류간의 수위상승량에 대한 분식을 수행하였다. 가교에 집적되는 유송잡물을 크기에 따라 몇 가지 형태로 구성하였으며, 교량의 물막이로 가설되는 시트파일의 설치와 철거에 따른 교량 상 하류간의 수위상승량을 1차원 수리모형인 HEC-RAS를 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 평수량의 흐름에는 유송잡물이 수위상승에 크게 영향을 주지 않는 것으로 분석되었으며, 시트파일의 영향 또한 미미한 것으로 나타났다. 홍수량 적용시에는 평수량이 흐를때와 같이 시트파일의 영향은 작은 것으로 나타났지만 80년 빈도 이상의 홍수량에서는 유송잡물의 영향으로 교량 상 하류간의 최대 수위차가 1m이상 크게 발생하는 것으로 모의되었다. 또한 국가하천의 설계빈도인 100년 빈도의 홍수량을 적용하여 가교 단면에서부터의 상류부 수위상승량을 검토한 결과 유송잡물의 영향으로 인해 상류측 17.84km지점까지 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • This work presents some analytical and numerical results of a dynamic analysis of the dimensionless 2-D sheet flight equations. Two empirical models for aerodynamic forces and moments are used and compared. Results show that the initial condition of rest is always unstable, and for long times three distinct flight regimes are possible, depending on the initial angle of attack, the Tachikawa number, Ta (in fact, the parameter chosen was its inverse, ${\Omega}$), and a mass ratio ${\Phi}$. The final orbits in the velocity space and their maximum kinetic energy are compared with a theoretical asymptotic state of the motion equations, and some design considerations are proposed.

  • This paper presents the results of measurements relating to the aerodynamic forces on flat square plates which were allowed to rotate at different speeds about their horizontal axis, by modifying the velocity of the incoming flow. A 1 m square test-sheet and a 0.3 m square test-sheet were fitted with a number of pressure sensors in order to obtain information relating to the instantaneous pressure distribution acting on the test-sheet; a compact gyroscope to record the angular velocity during the rotational motion was also implemented. Previous work on autorotation has illustrated that the angular velocity varies with respect to the torque induced by the wind, the thickness and aspect ratio of the test-sheet, any frictional effects present at the bearings, and the vorticity generated through the interaction between the plate and the wind flow. The current paper sets out a method based on the solution of the equation of motion of a rotating plate which enables the determination of angular velocities on autorotating elements to be predicted. This approach is then used in conjunction with the experimental data in order to evaluate the damping introduced by the frictional effects at the bearings during steady autorotation.

강우유발 면상흐름에 의한 세류간 침식에 대한 유효동력 (Effective power for interrill erosion by rainfall-induced sheet flow)

  • 사면에서의 세류간 토양침식은 빗물방울의 지표면 타격에 의한 토양입자의 박리와 면상흐름에 의한 토사이송의 상호작용에 의한 결과이다. 본 연구는 토양입자를 박리하는 강우동력과 유사이송에 기여하는 면상흐름동력을 토양침식을 위한 에너지 소비율 측면에서 새롭게 정의하고, 강우유발 면상흐름에 의한 세류간 토양침식의 유효동력 함수를 제시하였다. 강우, 경사, 유출과 관계된 인자들에 따른 강우 면상흐름의 동력을 평가하고, 기존 연구 자료를 바탕으로 이 함수의 상수들을 분석하였다. 또한 강우와 면상흐름 동력의 상대적인 크기 변화는 세류간 토양침식의 물리적 과정과 수문학적 반응을 반영함을 확인하였다. 지표유출 및 토양침식 실측자료를 세류간침식 평가 모형들에 적용한 결과 강우 면상흐름동력 함수가 가장 높은 정확도를 보여 세류간 토양침식 평가에 적합하다는 것을 확인하였다.

고출력 Nd:YAG UV레이저를 이용한 polyimide층과 Cu-metal층의 가공상태에 대한 실험적 고찰 (Experimental Investigation for Ablation Characteristics of Polyimide Layer and Cu-metal Layer using High Power Nd:YAG UV Laser)

  • In this paper, the laser cutting characteristics of the flexible PCB using high power Nd:YAG UV laser were investigated. A specific FPCB model was selected for the experiment. Test sheets were made, which had equal materials and layer structure to those of the outline (OL) region and the contact pad (CP) region in the FPCB. The experiment is made up of two stages. In the first stage of the experiment, the laser cutting fluence was found, which is the threshold fluence to cut the test sheets completely. The laser cutting fluence of the OL sheet is $1781.26{\sim}1970.16\;J/cm^2$ and that of the CP sheet is $2109.34{\sim}2134.34\;J/cm^2$. In the second stage, cutting performance and its qualities were analyzed by the experiment. The laser cutting performance remained almost unchanged for all laser and process parameter sets. The average cutting width (top side/bottom side) of the OL sheet was $40.45\;{\mu}m/11.52\;{\mu}m$ and that of the CP sheet was $22.14\;{\mu}m/10.93\;{\mu}m$. However, the laser cutting qualities were different according to the parameters. The adjacent region of the cutting line on the OL sheet was carbonized as the beam speed was low and the overlap coefficient was high. The surface quality around the cutting line of the CP sheet was about the same. Carbonization and debris occurred on the surface of the cutting line. As a result of the experiment, the cutting qualities were better as the overlap coefficient was made low and beam speed high. Therefore, the overlap coefficient 2 or 3 is proper for the FPCB laser cutting.

越流에 의한 非粘着性 堤體에서의 流體-固體 混合流의 水理特性 (Hydraulic Characteristics of Fluid-Granule Mixed Flow in Embankment of Noncohesive Materials Due to Overflow)

  • 본 연구에서는 홍수시 비점착성 제체 위를 월류하는 흐름에 의한 유체-고체 혼합류의 속도 분포와 판박형 세굴을 다루고 있다. 속도 분포는 입지-관성 법칙을 기초로 한 응력-변형률 관계식으로부터 구할 수 있었으며, 세굴 깊이는 Coulomb의 동역학적 법칙을 이용하여 구할 수 있었다. 상기 이론으로부터 구한 이론치를 검토하기 위해 실험을 실시하였으며, 실험치와 비교적 잘 일치함을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 속도 분포의 이론식은 유체-고체 혼합류의 여러 유속 분포에 모두 적용 가능한 것으로서, 토석류에 관한 기존 이론을 상당히 개선시킬 수 있는 식으로 평가되었다. 설계 목적을 위해서, 만약 홍수량과 입자의 성질 및 제체의 규격이 주어진다면, 속도 분포와 세굴 깊이, 월류 수심 및 토사 유출량을 구할 수 있는 식 및 도표를 제시하였다.

Volcaniclastic Sedimentation of the Sejong Formation (Late Paleocene-Eocene), Barton Peninsula, King George Island, Antarctica

  • The Sejong Formation of Late Paleocene to Eocene is a lower volcaniclastic sequence unconformably overlain by upper volcanic sequence, and distributed along the southern and southeastern cliffs of the Barton Peninsula. The Sejong Formation is divided into five sedimentary facies; disorganized matrix-supported conglomerate (Facies A), disorganized clast-supported conglomerate (Facies B), stratified clast-supported conglomerate (Facies C), thin-bedded sandstone (Facies D), and lapilli tuff (Facies E), based on sedimentary textures, primary sedimentary structures and bed geometries. Individual sedimentary facies is characterized by distinct sedimentary process such as gravel-bearing mudflows or muddy debris flows (Facies A), cohesionless debris flows (Facies B),unconfined or poorly confined hyperconcentrated flood flows and sheet floods (Facies C), subordinate streamflows (Facies D), and pyroclastic flows (Facies E). Deposition of the Sejong Formation was closely related to volcanic activity which occurred around the sedimentary basin. Four different phases of sediment filling were identified from constituting sedimentary facies. Thick conglomerate and sandstone were deposited during inter-eruptive phases (stages 1, 3 and 4), whereas lapilli tuff was formed by pyroclastic flows during active volcanism (stage 2). These records indicate that active volcanism occurred around the Barton Peninsula during Late Paleocene to Eocene.

Characterization of chemical vapor deposition-grown graphene films with various etchants

  • We analyzed the effect of etchants for metal catalysts in terms of the characteristics of resulting graphene films, such as sheet resistance, hall mobility, transmittance, and carrier concentration. We found the residue of $FeCl_3$ etchant degraded the sheet resistance and mobility of graphene films. The residue was identified as an iron oxide containing a small amount of Cl through elemental analysis using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. To remove this residue, we provide an alternative etching solution by introducing acidic etching solutions and their combinations ($HNO_3$, HCl, $FeCl_3$ + HCl, and $FeCl_3+HNO_3$). The combination of $FeCl_3$ and acidic solutions (HCl and $HNO_3$) resulted in more enhanced electrical properties than pure etchants, which is attributed to the elimination of left over etching residue, and a small amount of amorphous carbon debris after the etching process.

국내 위성추락 예측 연구 (A Study on the trajectory prediction of the satellite re-entry in Korea)

  • 인공위성을 포함한 우주물체가 지구궤도로 재진입하고 대기권에서 소실되거나, 지표면에 추락하는 일들이 날로 증가하고 있다. 최근 국내에서도 위성추락상황실을 운영하여 인공위성의 추락고도 및 추락시기에 대한 예측을 실시하였다. 아직까지 국내에서는 우주물체의 추락 시 현업에 적용할 수 있는, 미전략사령부에서 발표하는 TLE 자료를 활용한 독자적인 추락예측모델이 없으며, 다른 위성 운영국에서 발표하는 추락 예상시기를 참고하였다. 이 연구에서는 TLE 자료에 대기모델을 바탕으로 추락예상시기를 예측하고, 분석한 결과를 종합 분석하였고, 위성추락상황실 운영간 적용했던 RUBBER SHEET SHIFT METHOD(RSSM)의 인공위성 예상추락시기 예측결과를 토대로 새로운 추락모델에 대한 예시를 제안하였다.

  • Coating of Hot-dip galvannealed steel consists of various Fe-Zn intermetallic compounds. Since the coating is hard and there for is very brittle, the surface of steel sheet is easy to be ruptured during second manufacturing processing. This is called as powdering. In addition, forming equipment might be polluted with debris by powdering. Therefore, various research have been carried out to prohibit powdering fur improving the quality of GA steel. This paper carried out finite element analysis combined with damage model which simulate the failure of local layer of hot-dip galvannealed steel surface during v-bending test. Since the mechanical property of intermetallic compound was unknown exactly, we used the properties calculated from measurements. The specimen was divided into substrate, coating layer and interface layer. Local failure at coating layer or interface layer was simulated when elemental strain reached a prescribed strain.
