  • The purpose of this study was to develop a sexuality education program for early adolescents. The overall goals of the program were to not only increase knowledge and skirts, but also to improve the awareness of healthy sex in order to promote premarital abstinence, parent-teen communication and parental awareness of the importance of parental roles and responsibilities in prevention of sexual problems of the early adolescent. The program consisted of six sessions: puberty changes during adolescence, the meaning of sexuality, sexual drives in dating relationships, understanding of the risks associated with early sexual involvement and support for postponing sexual activities, managing and avoiding sexually risky situations, the importance of communications with parents about issues related to sexuality. The program evaluation had three steps: pre-test, immediate post-test and two month follow-up post test. The results showed that the program had a significantly positive effect on the improvement of adolescent's knowledge about sex, and attitudes and behaviors toward sex, particularly in the immediate post-test. At the two month follow-up assessment, the effect of the program still remained strong, though there was a sight and partial reduction which was not statistically significant. Most of the program participants expressed a high level of satisfaction with the program. Parental involvement appeared to be effective as well. Recommendations for further study include: to re-evaluate the curriculum for various other participants. In addition, further study which would compare post-test results of these participants with a comparison group of peers who did not receive the program would be valuable. The author believes that the program can be used in implementing specific subjects (sessions) in new settings, as well as implementing the entire package of the program.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify risk factors related to sexual function of women with coronary artery disease, and to determine the predictors of sexual function. The study design, a descriptive correlational study, was done through structural questionnaire and interview. A total of 50 subjects from C University Hospital at Kwang-ju city who have undergone coronary angiography at department of cardiology were observed and interviewed from Feb. 22, 1999 to March. 23, 1999. The number of affected vessels, the level of total serum cholesterol, and the ejection fraction of 2-D echo cardiography were analyzed to evaluate the severity of coronary artery disease. And also type A behavior pattern, health behavior, Brief Index of Sexual Functioning for Women (BISF-W) were measured. The data obtained were analyzed using percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis via SPSS PC+. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The mean age of the subjects were 58.1 and 72.0% of those have been married over 30 years. Seventy two percentage were unemployed and monthly family income of 56.6% was less than 1,000,000 won (approximately $ 840). Eighty percent were in their postmenopausal state, and the frequency of sexual intercourse of 84.0% were two to three times per month. 2. The scores of type A behavior pattern were from 16 to 38(mean 24.94) and health behavior ranged from 21 to 43(mean 31.2). Abstinence from smoking, alcohol, and caffeine were best compliant factors and weight control and exercise were least abided ones. The result of 2D-ECHO EF showed that the half of the subjects were abnormal, and 24% had more than 240mg/dl of total serum cholesterol. The coronary angiography showed that 64% of the subjects had more than one affected vessels. 3. The predictors to explain the factor score of 'orgasm' were number of health examination, the pre- or post-menopausal state, protestant, number of coronary vessel affected, level of serum total cholesterol, and comorbid group of hypertension and diabetes, and it's total variance accounted for 52.4%. The predictors to explain the factor score of 'sexual activity' were comorbid group of hypertension and diabetes and type A behavior pattern, which accounted for 22.4% of total variance. The predictors to explain the factor score of 'sexual satisfaction' were type A behavior pattern, no religion, exercise, level of serum total cholesterol, and pre or post menopausal state, which accounted for 52.1%. The predictors to explain the factor score of 'sexual desire' were the period of marriage, type A behavior, employment or unemployment, and weight control, which accounted for 43.2%. The predictors to explain the factor score of 'external force of sexual functioning' were physical overload and exercise, which accounted for 41.1%. The predictors to explain the factor score of 'sexual activity' were family monthly income, catholics, and exercise, and which accounted for 35.4%. Above results lead us to some consensus that sexual function of women with coronary artery disease is related to various factors including vasogenic factors such as total serum cholesterol level, number of coronary vessel affected, an endocrinal factor such as menopausal state, and type A behavior pattern as a sociopshychological factor. And also health behaviors such as fitness care, overwork, weight control, and emotional tension are contributed to sexual function.

The area of 'psychological and sexual violence from customers' showed a significant moderate correlation with depression and job satisfaction (p<0.05). Also, there was a negative correlation that was significant between depression and subjective health status, job satisfaction, and life satisfaction (p<0.05). Methods: The data collected in this study were analyzed using the lBM SPSS Statistics 21 program. The general characteristics of the study subjects were frequency analysis, non-face-to-face online class satisfaction, and test satisfaction were frequency analysis and technical statistics. Through the independent sample T test, a t-test was conducted to find out whether there was an average difference in online class and test satisfaction according to grade. Results: The advantages of non-face-to-face online classes were that repetitive learning was possible (57.7%), the disadvantage was that there was a lack of real-time communication (74.9%), and the most efficient teaching method was a mixed form of online and face-to-face classes (64.9%). The satisfaction level of online classes was 2.69 points for 'self-directed learning habits,' which was the highest compared to the overall average of 2.55 points, and 2.09 points for 'difficulty in interaction between instructors and learners in online classes.'Non-face-to-face test satisfaction was 2.68 points for 'short test time gives fairness to test results,' higher than the overall average of 2.45 points, and 2.07 points for 'no difficulty accessing the test.'In terms of satisfaction with the non-face-to-face test according to the grade, it was found that the third grade showed a more negative attitude than the second grade in terms of sexual fairness (p<0.05). Conclusions: Through the above results, non-face-to-face online classes require various content development and some mixed classes considering the level of students, and instructors' efforts to improve the quality of classes for interaction between instructors and learners are needed.

The survey Was conducted from April 4, 2017 to April 25, 2017 for the subject remarried couples aged more then 30years living in Sooul, Gyeonggi province, chungchong province, Jeolla province and Kyeongsang province. 48 questionnaires are distributed and analyzed with SPSS WIN 21. Results of the analysis showed that the higher the level of self-differentiation of the remarried couple, the more positive influence of marital satisfaction on the emotional intimacy and sexual intimacy as the sub-factors of marital intimacy, (-), respectively. As a result of in-depth interviews, low levels of self-differentiation have negative effects on marital satisfaction and marital intimacy, resulting in a vicious cycle in marital conflict. And these results show the possibility of the unified construction of a marital satisfaction improvement program considering self-differentiation, marital intimacy, and marital conflict coping style.
