Triclosan (TCS) is an antimicrobial compound used in consumer products. The purpose of current study was to examine toxicology and risk assessment of TCS based on available data. Acute toxicities of oral, transdermal and inhalation routes were low, and phototoxicity and neurotoxicity were not observed. Topical treatment of TCS to animal caused mild irritation. TCS did not induce reproductive and developmental toxicity in rodents. In addition, genotoxicity was not considered based on in vitro and in vivo tests of TCS. It is not classified as a carcinogen in international authorities such as International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC). No-observed-adverse-effect level (NOAEL) was determined 12 mg/kg bw/day for TCS, based on haematoxicity and reduction of absolute and relative spleen weights in a 104-week oral toxicity study in rats. Percutaneous absorption rate was set as 14%, which was human skin absorption study reported by National Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme (NICNAS) (2009). The systemic exposure dosage (SED) of TCS has been derived by two scenarios depending on the cosmetics usage of Koreans. The first scenario is the combined use of representative cosmetics and oral care products. The second scenario is the combined use of rinse-off products of cleansing, deodorants, coloring products, and oral care products. SEDs have been calculated as 0.14337 mg/kg bw/day for the first scenario and 0.04733 mg/kg bw/day for the second scenario. As a result, margin of safety (MOS) for the first and second scenarios was estimated to 84 and 253.5, respectively. Based on these results, exposure of TCS contained in rinse-off products, deodorants, and coloring products would not pose a significant health risk when it is used up to 0.3%.

Objectives: The association between obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and mortality or serious cardiovascular events over a long period of time is not clearly understood. The aim of this observational study was to estimate the clinical effectiveness of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) treatment on an outcome variable combining mortality, acute myocardial infarction (AMI), and cerebrovascular insult (CVI) during a follow-up period of 15.5 years ($186{\pm}58$ months). Methods: The data set consisted of 978 patients with an apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) ${\geq}5.0$. One-third had used CPAP treatment. For the first time, a data-driven causal Bayesian network (DDBN) and a hypothesis-driven causal Bayesian network (HDBN) were used to investigate the effectiveness of CPAP. Results: In the DDBN, coronary heart disease (CHD), congestive heart failure (CHF), and diuretic use were directly associated with the outcome variable. Sleep apnea parameters and CPAP treatment had no direct association with the outcome variable. In the HDBN, CPAP treatment showed an average improvement of 5.3 percentage points in the outcome. The greatest improvement was seen in patients aged ${\leq}55$ years. The effect of CPAP treatment was weaker in older patients (>55 years) and in patients with CHD. In CHF patients, CPAP treatment was associated with an increased risk of mortality, AMI, or CVI. Conclusions: The effectiveness of CPAP is modest in younger patients. Long-term effectiveness is limited in older patients and in patients with heart disease (CHD or CHF).

Intrinsic motivation strengthens the relation between Technological entrepreneurship and PACAP. 4. Extrinsic motivation strengthens the relation between PACAP and RACAP. This results will contribute to the improvement of Creativity and the utilization of external knowledge.

This research examines the sustainable mutual growth of academia and industry regarding human resource cultivation and recruitment of local communities. at the beginning of regularized survival competitions and university innovations according to University Basic Competence Evaluations and etc., This research considers the substantive effect of educational resources of universities on recruitment rates in the pursuit of enhancing university-industry cooperation. Therefore, to identify factors of recruitment rates, we employ a university-wise index based on a quantitative index of educational resources of universities. Regarding study methods, set-up and verification of hypothesis, empirical analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, and correlation analysis are used to identify the correlation between dependent variables and independent variables based on the three sub-indexes of open records at Higher Education including educational environments, educational finances, and research achievements. Implications were derived from multiple regression analysis results regarding education conditions and recruitment rates, educational finances and recruitment rates, and research achievement and recruitment rates. This research can be extended to predict regional university recruitment rates with empirical analysis considering regional characteristics.
The amount of food waste generated in Republic of Korea has been increasing alongside an increasing population and booming economy as such, research on effective treatment and recycling is required. Food waste recycling is complicated by its inferior characteristics such as high levels of water and concern that its continuous application to farmland can lead to salt accumulation and concomitant damage crops. In the present study, therefore, dehydrated food waste powder (FWP), which contains a large amount of organic matter and nutrients, but which may require additional improvements was mixed in various ratios with organic fertilizers and the mixtures were tested for their effects on the growth of the leaf lettuce. A control was set up with inorganic fertilizers alone while a treatment with only FWP was also included. The mixture of FWP and organic fertilizers produced better leaf lettuce growth in all the treatments than the control and FWP. The fresh weight of the leaf lettuce produced with a mixture containing 60% FWP was 50% higher than that of the control. The results from this study indicate, therefore, that FWP mixed with other organic supplements in appropriate amounts positively impacts crop growth and development.
Purpose: This study aims to develop a cost model for NRP (Nursing Residency Program) operation and ultimately provide evidence for financial factors for NRP operation in the future by simulating a cost model. Methodology: This study developed a model for the NRP education cost calculation model based on the review of Hansen's model, which has systematically reported on the development and operation of NRP, and discussions with nursing education experts at a university-affiliated hospital. With the simulation, it was intended to predict nurses' supply and demand in the long term and to calculate changes in long-term education costs. Findings: Firstly, turnover model, term model, cost model necessary for calculating a model for the NRP education cost calculation model was set up. Secondly, the simulation showed the following results; 1) the proportion of newly graduated nurses less than 5 years of working decreases gradually over time, which will make the composition of nurses more balanced. 2) In the first year of the partial introduction of NRP, the cost of training new nurses was about 2.1 times higher than before. After the introduction, the training cost in the 13th year began to be lesser than before the introduction, and in the 25th year, it decreased by 28.1% compared to before the introduction. Practical Implications: Firstly, NRP would be an effective way to solve the higher turnover and frequent departure of new nurses and the imbalance of nurses' composition. Secondly, although the costs of NRP are incurred in the early stages, in the end, NRP training costs are reduced compared to before the introduction of NRP. It is necessary to systematically understand the contribution effect of NRP by analyzing the economic value of NRP considering financial and non-monetary returns in the future and providing a basis for decision-making related to NRP implementation.

One of the most important water management issues of Soyang Reservoir, located in North Han River in Korea, is a long term discharge of turbid water to downstream during flood season. Installation of a selective withdrawal structure (SWS) is planned by the reservoir management institute as a control measure of outflow water quality and associated negative impacts on downstream water use and ecosystem. The objective of the study was to explore the effectiveness of the SWS on the control of outflow turbidity under two different hydrological years; one for normal flood year and another for extreme flood year. A two-dimensional (2D), laterally averaged hydrodynamic and water quality model (CE-QUAL-W2) was set up and calibrated for the reservoir and used to evaluate the performance of the proposed SWS. The results revealed that the SWS can be an effective method when the ${\Theta}$ value, the ratio between the amount of turbid water that containing suspended sediment (SS) greater than 25 mg/L and the total storage of the reservoir, is 0.59 during the normal flood year. However, the effectiveness of the SWS could be marginal or negative in the extreme flood year when ${\Theta}$ was 0.83. The results imply that the SWS is an effective alternative for the control of turbid water for moderate flood events, but not a sufficient measure for large flood events that are expected to happen more often in the future because of climate change.
Objectives: The major purpose of the study is to examine structural relation among teenager's perception of parenting attitudes, peer attachment, resilience and meaning in life. In order to achieve purpose of the study, we will develop reliable criterion which can measure variable. Method: We will set up structural relational model from relationship between internal and external variables that can influence teenager's meaning in life and we will examine the relationship between variables through structural equation analysis. we will find structural relationship among parenting attitudes, peer attachment, resilience and meaning in life. Results: We analyzed structural relationship among variables targeting 744 middle school and high school students. Teenager's perception of parenting attitudes have positive influence on peer attachment. This shows that teenager perception of fostering attitude have a positive influence even though teenager percepts parent's foster attitude as overprotective or compassionate. However, if teenager percept fostering attitude as overprotective, teenager perception of parenting attitudes doesn't have influence on resilience. Parent's compassionate attitude not only directly influence resilience but also influence resilience through peer attachment. This validates that individual psychological factor, such as how teenager accept and interpret surrounding environment can influence resilience. Peer attachment relationship not only directly influence resilience but also influence meaning of life through resilience. The resilience has direct effect on meaning in life. Conclusions: When one of education goal is to help teenager to find meaning in life and to reach self-realization, We need to have interest in resilience which is known factor for contributing meaning in life. As previous teenager studies has approached this problem, such as maladjustment, delinquency, and depression, it is significant that this study is examined in positive a psychological perspective which focus on healthy adjustment, such as meaning in life based on teenager's resilience and happiness.
In this study, we focused on the low practicality of traditional outdoor advertisements due to uniformity of materials, shapes, and designs, so in order to improve it, we will analyze impact on the practicality of outdoor advertisements depends on the attached type of advertising signboards. The research method is to set up a research model and hypotheses through a literature review and conduct a survey and then perform factor analysis and hierarchical regression analysis. Hypothesis1. The evaluation factors (readability, formability or symbolism) of outdoor advertising signboard in traditional markets will affect their practicality. Hypothesis 2. The type of attached advertising signboards (protruding type or wall-type) in traditional markets will control the impact of each evaluation factors' on practicality. In a result, readability and formability will affect practicality. To increase practicality, the size, color, font, layout and etc. of outdoor advertising signboards should be well recognized to get the better understanding. Also, practicality will be increased by the harmonization and the sense of balance.
Reinforcing bars, a major component of the pre-fab structure, adheres to the existing on-site assembly method and attempts to develop and commercialize the technology of the pre-assembly method, but the effect is insignificant. Welded Wire / Bar Mat (WBM) has various advantages such as commercialization of rebar through machine manufacturing to improve workability, but it is different from the existing design and the construction method is different from the previous one. Therefore, to maximize the advantages of WBM and improve productivity, manufacturing, transportation, and construction from the design stage should be considered based on BIM from the initial design stage. In this paper, the concept of the design support system for the WBM was established based on the use of BIM in concrete reinforcement and the preliminary research on the WBM. WBM conversion design was performed for the existing prefabricated members, and based on this, the exchange format and system of the master prefabricated model with the WBM design data were set up. As a result of the pilot test, it was found that the traditional reinforcing bar information extracted from the master prefab model has transmitted 100% accurately. As for the WBM information, 100% of the information on the straight reinforcement was transmitted and represented, and the information on the bent reinforcement was found to have a 90% recall in the master BIM tool.
