Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is rapidly emerging as the efficient approach in contemporary complex, heterogeneous computing environments. SOA increases the adaptability by loose coupling and its main feature is that three elements such as service provider, service requester and service registry are connected with each other systematically. To design the service-oriented system efficiently, a metric to measure the coupling between services accurately is needed. In this paper, we propose four coupling metrics for SOA based softwares. First, we suggest a coupling metric for service-oriented systems by modifying an established coupling metric of object-oriented systems. Then we suggest another coupling metric which includes indirect coupling between services. We also suggest two relative coupling metrics to measure coupling between subsystems. We investigate the theoretical soundness of the proposed metrics by the axioms of Briand et al. Finally, we apply the presented metrics to an industrial-scale case study.

This research work is concerned with a location-based alert service in wireless communication network environment. The alert service automatically transfers alert message to subscriber in the disaster area. This research work deals with automatic alert services that automatically provide people in emergency area with the state of emergency. The alert service uses the mobile device to inform its urgency to the subscribers in its area. The location tracking service will give the list of people in emergency area. The all processes of this research work are followed as. First, when a disaster or a calamity comes in, an emergency management center receives the emergency to analyze its shape and size and to declare the place to 'the disaster area.' Secondly, then the center finds information of mobile device subscribers in the disaster area. Finally, the center automatically generates a shape of text or audio of alert message of the emergency to send the message to the subscribers in the disaster area. Our mobile automatic alert service proposed above is so efficient that the subscribers in disasters area may meet the emergency more efficiently and may save their own valuable lives and properties more safely.

We consider an overlaid broadcast service, where a spread spectrum (SS)-based broadcast signal is overlaid onto the existing terrestrial Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (T-DMB) band. The system is similar to the augmented data transmission in the ATSC DTV, for which it was investigated mostly in terms of link level performance, such as bit error rate. Our focus in this paper is on the system-level performances. More specifically, utilizing both a large scale path loss and a small scale fading channel model, the primary objective is to explore the tradeoff between the coverage and the achievable rate of the overlaid service and, finally, to determine the achievable rate in the overlaid service for marginal coverage reduction in the existing broadcast service. The analytical and simulation results show that an SS-based add-on service of 10 kbps to 20 kbps can co-exist with the T-DMB service while resulting in only a marginal degradation in T-DMB coverage (for example, less than one percent reduction).

EDS is a typical convergence service performing convergence between functions owned by multiple SPs. EDS provides users with the relevant information and the communication by the various personal conditional environment. An alternative terminology for events for net- work related applications is 'triggers'-these are assumed to be included in the present description. Events could be defined as any activities which occur within a service avail ability, signals. Events can be managed, for example, as part of a context-aware application. EDS carry out a procedure for processing user's requested information about mobil network-based entities, such as the combination with various applications, such as a LBS (Location Based Service) and area information. In AS (Application Service) network environments, the user has his customized EDS in the network, the EDS automatically connects the appropriate Terminals consistent with a user profile. EDS can also send the collected information to other requesting users by way of event information and using the procedures of combination with other services. The user can record/retrieve the user-related information to from the information base through EDS.

본 논문에서는 u-헬스케어 응용 서비스 지원을 위한 액티브 모델 기반의 서비스 컴포넌트를 제안한다. 서비스 컴포넌트는 헬스케어 응용 서비스의 개발을 지원하기 위해 기능을 세분화하여 구현하였다. 특히, 분산 객체그룹 프레임워크를 기반으로 다양한 헬스케어 홈서비스에 분산객체 기술을 이용하여 통합된 환경에서 적응형 정보 서비스를 제공하는데 중점을 두었다. 그리고 본 논문에서 제안한 서비스 컴포넌트를 헬스케어 홈 모니터링, 모바일 모니터링, 웹기반 모니터링과 같은 헬스케어 응용 서비스에 적용하여 수행 결과를 보인다. 또한 응답시간과 네트워크 부하와 시스템 부하에 대한 성능 평가 결과를 보였다.

Due to the development of technology and medical care following the 4th industrial revolution, the medical paradigm is shifting towards patient-centered medical services. Based on the development of smart home technology, the residential environment is changing into a residential space that cares for and heals the lifestyles and the healthcare of families. As lifestyle changes, the concept of supporting smart home care based on the residential environment is making it possible to build a smart home IoT service design with enhanced accessibility and convenience for medical appointments and well-being lifestyle care. This paper is a study on user-centered health care smart home IoT service design suitable for family members based on the health care, beauty care, exercise care, and customized diet care beyond the conventional concept of health care monitoring. Based on the analysis, this paper proposes a personal care coordinate smart home service design in a human-centered wellness clinic care smart home service design environment. Human-centered wellness clinic smart home IoT service design is meaningful in presenting a vision for research on smart home service design that links hospital-linked and care-linked service industries, which should be considered from the smart home construction planning stage.

Diversified SaaS applications allow users more choices to use, according to their own preferences. However, the diversification of SaaS applications also makes it impossible for users to choose the best one. Furthermore, users can't take advantage of the functionality between SaaS applications. In this paper, we propose a platform that provides an SaaS mashup service, by extracting interoperable service functions from SaaS-based applications that independent vendors deploy and supporting a customized service recommendation function through log data binding in the cloud environment. The proposed SaaS mashup service platform consists of a SaaS aggregation framework and a log data binding framework. Each framework was concreted by using Apache Kafka and rule matrix-based recommendation techniques. We present the theoretical basis of implementing the high-performance message-processing function using Kafka. The SaaS mashup service platform, which provides a new type of mashup service by linking SaaS functions based on the above technology described, allows users to combine the required service functions freely and access the results of a rich service-utilization experience, using the SaaS mashup function. The platform developed through SaaS mashup service technology research will enable various flexible SaaS services, expected to contribute to the development of the smart-contents industry and the open market.

유선인터넷의 다양한 서비스를 이동통신사의 무선인터넷처럼 이동성이 가미된 환경에서도 이용하고자 하는 요구가 점점 증가하고 있다. 이러한 요구사항을 충족시키기 위해 유선인터넷의 장점인 '초고속'과 무선인터넷의 '이동성'이 결합된 휴대인터넷서비스가 대안으로 등장하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 휴대인터넷 서비스의 개요, 특징 및 기존의 무선 서비스와의 비교분석과 이용자 요구사항 분석 등을 통하여 휴대인터넷에 기반한 도서관에서 적용 가능한 서비스를 조망한다. 특히 기존에 도서관에서 제공되고 있는 무선망 기반의 정보서비스에 대한 현황 및 문제점과 함께. 휴대인터넷을 기반으로 하는 정보서비스의 세부분야 및, 고려사항, 그리고 제공 방법에 대해 살펴보았다.

SIP 기반 프레즌스 서비스는 향후 유비쿼터스 시대의 상황 인지형 서비스에 응용될 수 있는 핵심서비스이다. 또한 프레즌스 서비스는 개인의 프라이버시 문제를 다루기 때문에, 권한관리를 위해 사용되는 XCAP 기반 기술이 최근 표준화가 진행 중에 있다. 그러나, 현재 프레즌스 기반구조를 활용한 마땅한 응용서비스 모델이 제시되어 있지 않으며, XCAP 기반 권한관리 기술이 적용된 사례가 나와 있지 않다. 본 논문에서는 새로운 프레즌스 서비스 모델을 선정하고, 서비스 개발을 위한 프레즌스 기반구조의 적용방법, XCAP 기반 권한관리 기술의 적용방안을 설계하였다. 본 논문은 프레즌스 기반 서비스 및 XCAP 기반 권한관리 기술개발을 위한 참조모델을 제안하고 있다. XCAP 기술을 통해 프레즌스 서비스의 개인정보 기능을 보강 하였고, 프레즌스 서비스의 각 메시지 전송 단계를 구체적 예를 통해 검증하였다. 본 논문의 기여점은 프라이버시를 고려한 XCAP 기반의 프레즌스 서비스 모델의 제안 및 서비스 모델 각 메시징 스텝의 검증에 있다.

본 연구의 목적은 최근 급속히 확산되고 있는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 관련 기술 개발의 기준이 되고 있는 UCT(Ubiquitous Computing Technology)기반 서비스 시나리오의 실질적인 구현 가능성을 종합적으로 평가하는 다면평가방법론을 제안하는 것이다. 다면평가는 제안된 UCT기반 서비스 시나리오에 대하여 기술성, 사업성, 수용성의 3차원으로 평가하여 개별 시나리오의 구현 가능성 및 타당성에 대한 종합적인 평가를 가능하게 해주는 평가방법론이다. 이것은 기존 UCT기반 서비스 시나리오 관련 평가방법론의 부재를 극복하기 위해 제안되었다. 또한 기존에 제안된 기술가치 평가, 재무적 평가(ROI, ROA 등) 등 현재 구현되지 않는 UCT기반 서비스 시나리오의 특성상 도출 불가능 하거나 그 의미를 부여하기 어려운 파라미터를 이용하는 평가 방법의 한계를 극복하기 위해 제안되었다. 따라서 이는 다양한 분야에서 제안되는 UCT기반 서비스 관련 시나리오에 대한 실현 가능성을 포괄적으로 평가하여 해당 시나리오에 기반한 기술 개발에 대한 타당성과 개발 우선순위를 결정하는 평가 도구로 활용 가능할 것이다.
