Design of Portal System Architecture for Large Consumers and Its Prototype Implementation (대수용가 포털 시스템 아키텍처 설계 및 프로토타입 구현)

  • This paper describes the portal system architecture of large consumers for ESP(Energy Service Provider) to provide customers with various value added services such as monitoring and controlling a wide variety of electric devices in consumer's premises for optimal energy management from both consumer side and ESP side, and the prototype implementation of 2 kinds of value added services. The architecture is composed of the device portal which gathers the information from electric devices and controls them and the consumer portal which can make ESP operate the optimal energy management with two-way communications. The demand side management and energy management functions was chosen and implemented for the prototype system as value added services. The prototype was designed to create, manage, and trace the events about services between ESP and customers.

An Integrated Model for Investigating the Impacts of Telepresence on Cultural Heritage Attachment in Virtual Museum

  • The purpose of our study is to examine the influence of telepresence on cultural heritage attachment in the context of virtual museum. We determined the effect of telepresence on visitors' aesthetic and educational experiences and how these experiences affect visitors' perceptions of virtual museum service value. Moreover, we investigate the effect of perceived virtual museum service value on museum attachment and cultural heritage attachment. A total of 143 visitors were sampled through an online survey focusing on Chinese virtual museum visitors. The results show that all the paths presented significant effects. Additionally, it was found that telepresence indirectly influences cultural heritage attachment through education experience and perceived virtual museum value. The theoretical and practical implications are also provided. An important implication is that online virtual museum is essential to raise visitors' education experience and their cultural heritage attachment. Thus, virtual museum should take initiative to enhance virtual reality to ensure traditional culture education and formation their cultural heritage attachment.

  • This paper calls attention to the central problem of the influence of identifying the determinants of airport duty-free store customers perceived innovativeness, pursuit benefits and value-congruency on the behavioral intention. The data is completed with 307 adults with purchasing experience of airport duty-free store O2O integration service which brings sufficient convenience to consumers. The content analysis results show that the influence factors of innovation characteristics, consumer pursuit benefits and value-congruency affect the behavioral intention in various aspects. The result suggests that we should upgrade the innovate functionality and improve the service quality based on consumer needs. Finally, this study discusses implications for theory and practice, indicates limitations, and concludes with some suggestions for future research.

  • In this study, we have measured the effects on production inducement, added value inducement, employment inducement and backward and forward linkage regarding the knowledge service industry in Korea. It turns out that the knowledge service industry greatly contributes to increase of added value and employment creation while highly withholds to effect on production inducement and backward and forward linkage effects. In recent, government seeks out new growth driver out of the knowledge service industry. We have found the fact that its direction should be 'production growth of the knowledge service industry' through this study.

  • We analyze how much employees' work abilities and overall satisfaction on the job or corporate influence on the productivity and customer satisfaction in the service industry, which is characterized by simultaneity, heterogeneity, intangibility and etc. Employees always encounter customers in process of the service. So, the employees' attitudes and behaviors have direct influences on the service quality or satisfaction which customers perceive. Also, employees' satisfaction or work abilities can lead to increase or decrease the productivity. To grasp and demonstrate the cause and effect relationship, we firstly measure the degrees of employee satisfaction organized by 11 factors through survey, and also measure employees' overall satisfaction, organizational commitment and productivity. Secondly, we define service value as the employee's objective measure index and collect it with the data related to customer satisfaction. Based on the collected data, thirdly we define how the relationship among the employee satisfaction, the productivity, the service value and the customer satisfaction are affected by the employees' work abilities and overall satisfaction with SEM(Structural Equation Model). And finally, we classify employees according to their abilities and the degrees of satisfaction respectively and suggest important strategies to manage them effectively.

The Effect of Experiential Value of AR Fashion Platform on Platform Preference (증강현실 패션플랫폼에 대한 경험적 가치가 플랫폼 선호도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study explores the effect of experiential value of AR fashion platform on platform preference. Based on the SOR theory, the effects of visual appeals, entertainment, service excellence, and efficiency on platform attitudes, mediated by intrinsic enjoyment and escapism, are tested. The participants respond to the questions after watching the video clip, using an AR fashion platform. A total of 252 data is analyzed using SPSS 26.0 for descriptive statistics and reliability analysis and AMOS 26.0 for confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The results show visual appeals, entertainment, and efficiency influence platform preference, mediated by intrinsic enjoyment. Entertainment also influences platform preference, mediated by escapism. The moderating effect of the AR service pre-experience is also explored. For the group with the AR service experience, entertainment and efficiency has a positive effect on intrinsic enjoyment, leading to AR platform preference. For the group without an AR service experience, only entertainment influences the AR platform preference, mediated by intrinsic enjoyment; however, there are no factors which increase escapism. The findings of this study contribute to find the marketing directions for the AR service users, by offering appropriate experiential values based on their prior AR experience.

Effects of Franchise Restaurant Selection Attributes on Perceived Value, Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty (프랜차이즈 레스토랑의 선택속성이 지각된 가치와 고객만족 및 고객충성도에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose - Recently, global management in Korea franchise industry is becoming an important keyword. As an important branch market, Chinese market plays a major role not only by making experience of the competitiveness among global brands which offers a foothold to become a top global brand, but also by actualizing an economies of scale in production, sales, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to identify key successful factor influencing customer evaluation and responses of Korean franchise restaurant targeting Chinese consumers in China context. The purpose of this study is to examine the effects for Korean franchise restaurant selection attributes on perceived value, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in Chinese context with SmartPLS 3 and Artifical Neural Network(ANN). Research design, data, and methodology - For these purposes, the authors developed several hypotheses. A questionnaire survey was conducted on the panel of online survey companies for Chinese consumers who have visited Korean franchise restaurants. A total of 404 data were analyzed using structural equation modeling(SEM) and artifical neural network(ANN) with SPSS 22.0 and SmartPLS 3.0. Result - The findings of this study are as follows: First, the alternative model findings show that facilities & atmosphere, employee service, and menu influenced on utilitarian value, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty directly. Second, employee service influenced on customer satisfaction. Third, menu influenced on hedonic value. Fourth, brand reputation influenced on utilitarian value. Fifth, hedonic value increase customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Sixth, hedonic value increase customer loyalty. Seventh, customer increase customer loyalty. And, the ANN analysis shows that utilitarian value is the first most important factor influencing customer satisfaction, followed by hedonic value, facilities & atmosphere, menu and employee service. However, the ANN analysis shows that customer satisfaction is the first most important factor influencing customer loyalty, followed by utilitarian value, hedonic value, brand reputation, menu, and employee service. Conclusions - This study provides practical implications for enhancing customer satisfaction and customer loyalty by applying the ANN technique that complements the limitations of the linear structural relationship analysis using the proposed model and the alternative model. In other words, the SEM-ANN model provides guidelines on how Korean franchise restaurants should formulate facilities & atmosphere, employee service, and menu mix strategies in China. In addition, ANN 's analysis shows that restaurant brand reputation plays a pivotal role in increasing customer loyalty. The fact suggests that Korean franchise companies should establish their domestic brand reputation prior to their entry into overseas markets such as China.

Determinants of User Perceived Value and Its Influence on the Usage of Smartphone-based Mobile Commerce : Focusing on Service Ubiquity and User Control (스마트폰 기반 모바일거래 이용의 지각된 이용자 가치와 이의 결정요인 : 서비스 편재성과 이용자 통제성을 중심으로)

  • This study attempts to identify user perceived value as a major predictor of the usage of smartphone-based mobile commerce(m-commerce). More specifically, the study conceptualizes user perceived value of smartphone-based m-commerce along three dimensions, such as temporal, functional, and economic values. Moreover, this study proposes service ubiquity and user control that are uniquely defining characteristics of smartphone-based m-commerce and examines how the two variables are associated with the creation of user perceived value. Using a total of 164 data collected on users of smartphone-based mcommerce, we conducted PLS analysis to test the proposed model and hypotheses. The key findings are as follows : First, it has been found that the usage of smartphone-based m-commerce is determined by the three values, such as temporal, functional, and economic values. Particularly, the results show that temporal value is the most influential variable in predicting m-commerce use. Second, the results demonstrate that service ubiquity has a significant positive effect on temporal value, whereas it has no effect on functional value. Finally, user control is positively associated with temporal and functional values. Overall, the results indicate that service ubiquity and user control considerably increase temporal value, thereby accelerating the use of smartphone-based m-commerce. Discussions and implications of the results are provided.

The Effects of Perceived Value, Overall Satisfaction, and Loyalty by the Service Quality of the Local Exhibition: Focused on The Goyang International Flower Exhibition (지역박람회의 서비스품질이 지각된 가치, 전반적 만족 및 충성도에 미치는 영향 -2018 고양국제꽃박람회를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence relationship of spectators' evaluation, perceived value, overall satisfaction, and loyalty on the service quality of Goyang International Flower Exhibition. As a result of analysis, first, it turned out that the higher the quality of the fair service, the higher the perceived value, overall satisfaction and loyalty. Especially, fair service quality showed a greater influence on overall satisfaction than on perceived value. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of the fair service, careful planning and operation of event content, accessibility, and convenience are required. Second, perceived value did not have a positive (+) effect on overall satisfaction, but it had a positive (+) effect on loyalty. The reason for this is that the spectators' evaluation of the perceived factors that can induce the interest of the flower product and the increase of the purchase, such as the quality problem of the product, the design problem, the exhibition and display problem, was low. Third, both perceived value and overall satisfaction had a positive (+) effect on loyalty, but the effect of overall satisfaction was greater than that of perceived value. Therefore, a strategy for enhancing the perceived value is required.

A Study on the Effects of Family Restaurants' Service Guarantees on Customer Loyalty -Focusing on the Moderating Role of Involvement- (패밀리레스토랑의 서비스보증이 고객충성도에 미치는 영향 - 관여도의 조절효과를 중심으로 -)

  • This study examines the relationship among family restaurants' service guarantee, service quality, service value, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, involvement to verify the marketing effectiveness of service guarantee in family restaurants. For the empirical analysis, a survey was conducted with 250 adults in Seoul and Gyeonggi. For the collected data, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis were carried out, using SPSS 21.0, in order to verify reliability and validity. And multi regression analysis, hierarchical analysis were used for hypothesis test. According to this study result, first, service guarantees were shown to have a positive effect on service quality, service value and customer loyalty. Second, service quality had a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Third, service value had a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Fourth, customer satisfaction had a positive effect on customer loyalty. Fifth, in the relationship between service guarantees and customer loyalty, involvement played a moderating role. Therefore this study has verified the marketing effectiveness of service guarantee in family restaurants, so it can be said that the study has drawn strategic operation methods in family restaurants.
