The purpose of this study was to investigate English teachers' perceptions about doing their own action research to find out the benefits of involvement in action research. I believe that teachers should engage in curriculum research and development because it relates to their own classrooms and because a primary aim for teacher education program is to give teachers ways of exploring their own classrooms. I focused on 17 graduate students who had undertaken action research during the fall semester of 2007 and administered a questionnaire about their perceptions of doing action research. The results revealed that their perceptions of doing action research fell into the following two categories, positive and negative aspects. For positive aspects, they experienced a sense of personal and professional growth and they underwent identity transformation from passive, etic-oriented, and uncritical to active, emic-oriented, and critical teachers. However, many of them expressed that major obstacles to doing action research were time constraints and lack of skills or training in conducting action research. Thus, it is suggested that both pre- and in-service teachers should consider conducting a language teaching diary study, doing collaborative action research, and acquiring all the necessary skills for conducting action research.

This paper examines the global supply chain management strategy and business performance of Doolee Vision Co. Ltd.. Based on the analysis of eighty-seven cases, the following results were found. First, it was found that just-in-time of GSCM strategy of firm have a positive influences on the business performance in transformation sector. Second, just-in-time of GSCM strategy of firm have a positive influences on the business performance in custody sector. Third, just-in-time of GSCM strategy of firm have a positive influences on the business performance in order response and support sector. Forth, just-in-time of GSCM strategy of firm have a positive influences on the business performance in customs sector. Fifth, just-in-time of GSCM strategy of firm have a positive influences on the business performance in customer service sector. However, several limitations, such as measurement for intra-industry homogeneity, measurement for flexibility of global supply chain management strategy, and measurement for business performance of global supply chain management, that make the preceding conclusions be considered preliminary.

The purpose of this study was to analyze which factor, influenced their change from pre-wage group to family business group. The subject of study classified by wage earner group and family business group. Independent variables effected by transform to family business group are classified by personal variables and workable variables. The major findings of this study are as followings: Sex, age, marriage of personal variables and pre-work time, pre-wage, wholesale - retail business, restaurant business and person service business of pre-industry of work variables had significant effect on transform to family business. Especially, Marriage group and low pre-wage income group significant effected on transfer to family business. By this, personal to transfer to family business can conjugate information of search and choice decision and can be used as a valuable data for future family business study.

The online education platform market is developing rapidly after the coronavirus infection-19 pandemic. As school classes at various levels are converted to non-face-to-face classes, interest in non-face-to-face online education is increasing more than ever. However, the majority of online platforms currently used are limited to the fragmentary functions of simply delivering images, voice and messages, and there are limitations to online hands-on training. Indeed, digital transformation is a traditional business method for increasing coding education and a corporate approach to service operation innovation strategy computing thinking power and platform model. There are many ways to evaluate a computer programmer's ability. Generally, piecemeal evaluation methods are used to evaluate results in time through coding tests. In this study, the purpose of this study is to propose a comprehensive evaluation of not only the results of writing, but also the execution process of the results, etc., and to evaluate the programmer's propensity habits based on the programmer's coding experience to evaluate the programmer's ability and productivity.

BIM (Building Information Model/Modeling) is attracting attention not only as a unit technology, but also as a factor that can promote the transformation of the entire construction industry process. This study aims to investigate the status and cases of policy introduction and legalization of BIM in foreign countries for the advancement of their own construction industry, and to discover policy implications that can be applied to Korea. The first survey uncovered policy elements, and based on this, the second survey conducted an in-depth survey of experts in actual BIM service and research activities. Looking at each priority, BIM standardization, mandating BIM in projects, payment standard establishment, and PQ additional points were given the highest level of importance.

ChatGPT has had a significant impact on society, business, and academia by influencing individuals and organizations through knowledge generation and supporting users in locating conversational inquiries and answers. It can transform how people seek answers by combining human-like conversational skills with AI. By eradicating the cumbersome process of selecting from multiple options, users can conduct preliminary research or create optimized solutions. The purpose of this research is to investigate how consumers use ChatGPT and digital transformation, specifically in terms of knowledge development, searching and recommending, and optimizing accessible possibilities. Using many linked theories, we address the potential implications and insights that can be gained from ChatGPT's early stages and its integration with other applications such as robotics, service automation, and the metaverse. Finally, the application of ChatGPT has practical, theoretical, and phenomenological impacts, in addition to improving users' experiences.

This study delves into the unique transformation of South Korea's elderly population, distinctively termed 'Nomad Silver'. Characterized by individuals aged 65 and above who actively seek novel experiences and embrace new activities, this demographic shift signifies a departure from traditional perceptions of the elderly. The Nomad Silver cohort, distinguished by their significant economic influence and evolving needs, necessitates a tailored approach to healthcare services. This paper underscores the importance of comprehending both the fundamental biological needs and the personalized desires of the Nomad Silver, aiming to enhance their satisfaction and overall well-being. Hospitals, in response, should innovate their services to resonate with the emotional, psychological, and social facets of this age group. Consequently, the paper proposes a four-pronged strategy for hospitals to adapt: comprehensive healthcare provision, patient-centric service development, senior health education coupled with community engagement, and establishing a generational bridge hub. Furthermore, the paper posits that catering to the Nomad Silver not only promises substantial financial gains for hospitals but also fosters new business opportunities across various sectors.

This research proposes a concept of multi-aspect Social IoT platform that enables human, machine and service to communicate smoothly among them, as well as a means of an automatic process for transforming exiting domain knowledge representation to generic ontology representation used in the platform. Current research focuses on building a machine-based service interoperability using sensor ontology and device ontology. However, to the best of our knowledge, the research on building a semantic model reflecting multi-aspects among human, machine, and service seems to be very insufficient. Therefor, in the research we first build a multi-aspect ontology schema to transform the representation used in each domain as a part of IoT into ontology-based representation, and then develop an automatic process of generating multi-aspect IoT ontology from the domain knowledge based on the schema.

The real-time railway safety monitoring and control system is for prevention of safety accidents, and this system adopts DDS (Data Distribution Service) standard based data transmission method to support integrated management of data from existing on-site safety detection devices. In this paper, we introduce the design of DDS-based data specification from on-site signal equipment on the conventional railway. For this, we (1) design UML data model of KRS SG 0062 standard which defines existing data specification, (2) define DDS Topics for DDS transmission and map KRS model to DDS Topic model, (3) suggest data transformation rules and (4) design network control QoS polices. In addition, we analysis actual on-site log data and validate our data specification design. DDS-based data transmission enables data compatibility among on-site devices and the real-time railway safety monitoring and control system, and allows efficient network management for a large amount of data transfer.
