In spite of the development of the service industry, research on measuring customers' service satisfaction is far insufficient. Therefore, ways to measure the service qualify accurately need to be established due to the ambiguous types of service business. This research classifies the types of service business into service factory, service shop, mass service, professional service by using Schmenner's Service Process Matrix and conducts research on domestic literature that measured service satisfaction with Servqual and ServPerf. This study intends to suggest guidelines to measure customer satisfaction according to types of service business by researching ways to measure service satisfaction according to the types of service business and analysing the actual application methods based on a table that summarizes previous research on Servqual and Servperf.

P-PIE is a program developed to estimate failure probability of pipes and pressure vessels considering fatigue and stress corrosion crack growth. Using the program, crack growth simulation was performed with an initially existing crack in order to examine the effects of initial crack depth distribution on the leak probability of pipes. In the simulation stress corrosion crack growth was considered and several crack depth distribution models were used. From the results it was found that the initial crack depth distribution gives great effect on the leak probability of pipes. The log-normal distribution proposed by Khaleel and Simonen gives lower leak probability compared other exponential distribution models. The effects of the number and the quality of pre-service and in-service inspections on the leak probability were also examined and it was recognized that the number and the quality of pre-service and in-service inspections are also give great effect on the leak probability. In order to reduce the leak probability of pipes in plants it is very important to improve the quality of inspections. When in-service inspection is performed every 10 years and the quality of inspection is above the very good level, the leak probability shows nearly constant value after the first inspection for an initially existing crack.

The correlation between the Military Service Adaptation Test and the Biometric Index is studied herein with the aim of preventing military safety accidents. The subjects were 36 soldiers under the age of 25 years. Based on the results of the service adaptation test, the soldiers who did not adapt to the service were distinguished. First, there was a significant difference in brain stress among the brain wave indicators of the general group and the group of interest. Second, the higher the left and right brain imbalance index among the brain wave indicators, the higher was the level of empathy shown by the subjects. Third, among the pulse indicators, the subjects with high cumulative fatigue levels were found to have high levels of emotion (anxiety, depression, physicalization) and relationship isolation (indifference, sensitivity). Based on these results, the implications of this study and suggestions for future research are discussed.

In this paper, we introduce a case of a fire accident during parking of a large truck that is repeatedly occurring. The shape and location of the combustion and electrical singularity commonly found in other vehicle fire accidents could limit the starter motor as the ignition section. In addition, it was possible to confirm the electrical melting singularity that could act as a cause of ignition between the start motor B terminal and the start motor enclosure. By combining the above investigations and investigations, it was possible to estimate the electric fire expressed from insulation breaking of the starter motor B terminal, and by using the renewable starter motor comparison product mounted on the fire vehicle, an experiment was performed to reproduce the ignition process from the starter motor under specific conditions. So. It is hoped that this will raise awareness about vehicle fires, which can lead to large fires or casualties, share the risks of using starter motors for regeneration, and help in the rapid and accurate investigation of similar vehicle fires in the future.

This paper examines the safety perception of passengers on low cost carriers which has made several accidents and incidents at the early stage of their business. The concept of low cost carrier is becoming more important to airline industry in Korea. This study achieves the first selecting attribute among airline service factors on domestic flights and try to indicate that how much the passengers trust in the safety of low cost carriers. It is also sets the comparative safety awareness between low cost carriers and two full service national carriers in domestic market. The safety perception of aircraft type can be a major factor for LCC choice in Korea due to frequent accidents and incidents for last two years. More than 60% of LCC passengers have increasingly considered the safety after recent accidents. The low cost airlines' images of the passengers showed that the first image of the LCC was the fare and the second image was safety. This study indicates that most of the LCC travelers will use the international low cost airlines when LCC extend their destination to adjacent countries. For the accomplishment of the low cost carriers' competitiveness in domestic market, they have to try to get rid of bad image for safety and pay extra attention to find out better services other than the safety and develop other strategies to compete against existing full service carriers.

Background : The purpose of study in to grasp the level of perception of hospital workers on the patient safety culture, consider the difference in perception of patients safety culture according to medical service and finally find out a way to establish patient safety culture in hospital. Methods : As for the data, the analysis on frequency, t-test, ANOVA and tukey test were carried out by using SPSS 12.0. Result : The results of comparison among the positive response ratios on the patients culture of hospital workers showed that the subjects had perceived the teamwork within units most positively(74.1%), and perceived most negatively on the non-punitive response to error(16.2%)and the staffing(26.2%). 68.6% of subjects answered that the medical error were mostly of always reported. when daytime working hours are longer, perception of patient safety culture ranked low. In general, departments for direct medical service than departments for indirect medical service assessed patient safety culture high. Conclusion : Organizational learning and teamwork within units, communication openness, active support of hospital management for patient safety, and cooperation across the units would be crucial to promote the overall perceptions of patients safety of hospital workers and the level of patients safety in the units and to improve the quality of the event reporting system.

우리나라의 경우, 중소형선박에 의한 해양사고의 발생 비중이 상대적으로 매우 높으며, 통계에 따르면 각종 안전지원 장비의 탑재 의무화에도 불구하고 크게 감소되지 않고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 대형선박에 비해 상대적으로 탑재 장비가 적은 중소형 선박을 위한 음성합성 기반 자동 안전항해 지원 서비스 제공 시스템의 아키텍처를 제안한다. 시스템의 주목적은 주변 선박들에게 VHF 무전기를 통해 합성된 음성 안전 메시지를 자동으로 제공하여 해양사고를 예방하는 것이다. 안전항해 지원 서비스는 GPS 및 AIS를 연계하여 음성 안전 지원 메시지를 합성하고, VHF를 통하여 자동으로 방송해주는 형태로 동작된다. 따라서 시스템을 구성하는 데이터 처리 모듈, 단계별 위험도 분석 모듈, 음성합성 안전 메시지 생성 모듈, VHF 방송장비 제어 모듈 등을 개발하였다. 또한, 개발한 시스템을 활용하여 실험실 수준의 테스트와 해상 실증 시험을 진행하였으며, 이를 통해 서비스 유용성을 검증하였다.

This paper aims to design a variable-stiffness type economical safety joint for service robots. The safety joint was designed to have a passive shock absorbing mechanism for protecting human from a catastrophic collision under service condition of robots. A simple mechanism composed of two action disks for switching the load transfer, a spring and a screw for pre-load was proposed. In order to evaluate the performance of the safety joint a testing platform which can carry out the static and impact tests was also designed and fabricated. From the test results, the designed safety joint was proved to have a variable load-carrying capacity and about 42% impact absorption capacity with simple manipulation of the control screw.

본 논문은 산업 안전 서비스를 위하여 컴퓨터 지원 협동 작업의 하나의 환경을 제안한다. 산업 안전 환경의 좋은 예는 화약고이다. 본 논문에서는 산업안전 서비스를 위한 셰퍼드와 세션 초기 프로토콜 환경에서 실행되는 컴퓨터 기반의 멀티미디어 통합 환경에 대해서 제안하였다. 기존의 멀티미디어 프레임워크는 컴퓨터 기반의 멀티미디어 통합을 위한 세션 초기 프로토콜 환경에서 거의 없는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 세션을 잘 유지할 수 있게 하기 위하여 셰퍼드와 세션 초기 프로토콜 환경에서 실행되는 컴퓨터 기반의 멀티미디어 통합 환경을 기술하였다.

In this paper, the u-Service system that is based on location-aware technology is designed for a silver town. It provides services such as emergency call, intelligent elevator operation, and hands-free door access based on the location of the residents with personal device as called smart tag. It can also be applied to other service areas such as the location-aware u-Service for Hospital, high-rising complex building, APT, etc.
