This study was undertaken to understand how reference groups, convenience and pursuit of information affect subscription-based Webtoon service usage through reliability and curiosity, through which this study provides some suggestions for developing Webtoons and increasing profitability of service providers. Therefore, the reliability and feasibility analysis were conducted for 449 readers who used the paid webtoon more than once. In addition, the causality test was conducted to verify the research model. As a result of the research, this study shows the following implications: First, it is recommended that webtoon service providers produce webtoons with the webtoonists who have more expertise developing new webtoons. Second, webtoon service providers should focus on advertising during the episodes that are currently being subscribed to, or in the next episodes in order to stimulate the usage needs of readers rather than focusing on advertising the products related to the characters and their development and sales. Third, webtoon service providers are supposed to develop webtoons by using materials that can appear in everyday life. Fourth, webtoon service providers should continue their research in order to develop high quality products and express the unique characteristics of their advertisements by increasing investment in the development of products and advertising.

The post-production of smart farming defines the stage that the final products are delivered from producer to consumers via market on ICT network. It deals with the process of product packaging and distribution from producer to consumer with marketing strategy. This focus on reference model for post-production service including specialization, centralization of product delivery, and just-in-time delivery, and marketing system on the network. It defines a significant function component on post-production stage. The producer plays a significant role in economy being one of the main contributors to the many customers. This articles suggest the effective product distribution service which requires delivering the right product, in the right quantity, in the right condition, to the right place, at the right time, for the right cost, and encompassing global marketing based on ICT network, will be provided[1].

Information service technology continues to develop, and information service continues to expand based on the IT convergence trend. The premeter-based security model chosen by many organizations can increase the effectiveness of security technologies. However, in the premeter-based security model, it is very difficult to deny security threats that occur from within. To solve this problem, a zero trust model has been proposed. The zero trust model requires authentication for user and terminal environments, device security environment verification, and real-time monitoring and control functions. The operating environment of the information service may vary. Information security management should be able to response effectively when security threats occur in various systems at the same time. In this study, we proposed a security policy distribution system in the object reference method that can effectively distribute security policies to many systems. It was confirmed that the object reference type security policy distribution system proposed in this study can support all of the operating environments of the system constituting the information service. Since the policy distribution performance was confirmed to be similar to that of other security systems, it was verified that it was sufficiently effective. However, since this study assumed that the security threat target was predefined, additional research is needed on the identification method of the breach target for each security threat.

An Integrated Management Platform, which plays a core role in managing u-City, intelligently control various infra-structure components by accommodating a large number of sensors and devices; and analyzing data received from these sensors and devices through wired/wireless sensor networks. In this paper, the services provided by the integrated management platform for u-City are classified into common application service, operational management service, and platform gateway service, and furthermore detailed functions for each service are defined. These functions, through their roles and information flows, will clarify the requirements of the integrated management platform, and through their addition and modification will be utilized as a reference model for the functional organization of the integrated management platform.

The purpose of this study is to define a method of building an integrated service to provide various science and technology knowledge infrastructures that are helpful in R&D activities, and to show the cases that are adapted the methodologies. Knowledge infrastructures scattered throughout the entire R&D cycle, such as generating/development of ideas, finding the R&D project, performing the project, and spreading results, are segmented in terms of services, functions, information, and data, and links and converges to provide the knowledge infrastructure that desired by users in one place. We define the integrated service classification, integration level model, integrated architecture, and integrated user authentication system in consideration of logical linkage and integration rather than physical integration of individual knowledge infrastructures. Also, we considered the extensibility as the reference model for building of similar integrated service.

For the purpose of analyzing the influence of the recent environmental changes of container logistics system in container terminal, the simulation model of container logistics system on BCTOC is developed in this paper. The simulation model is accomplished by the AweSim simulation language, and the several data which have been used in simulation gained through spot research and basic statistic analysis using the first half of 1998 electronic data in BCTOC. The results of this study are as follows; (1) In the case of BCTOC, the decreasing of container volumes is observed during the first half of 1998 compare with that of 1997. (2) In the container handling service market, the monopolistic market system in the past rapidly diverts to the competition market system from now. (3) From the simulation results, the improving of container logistics system is observed. (4) Because of these results, BCTOC will come to strengthen customer service and competitive power through starting On-Dock service system and operating the team of customer management in the long term.

This study proposed to develop a model for user-customizable policy information services, based on an assessment of policy users' demands and a case analysis of customized services. To do this, we analyzed literature related to user customized services, performed case studies, and carried out a survey targeting policy information consumers. In this way, this study suggested that information retrieval and data offerings, reference information services, policy information network services, library marketing services, and personalized service are details which user-customizable policy information services must provide.

This article describes a business case of ROSEWeb, a floral distribution service by internet of Newrun System Company. Newrun System is one of the floral distribution IT solution company. The purpose of this case study is to find out which factors of ROSEWeb solution of successful business model and internet distribution strategy that plays an important role as the floral distribution IT service. ROSEWeb has experienced many challenging obstacles while they prepare for this floral distribution IT service. This case study has found that Newrun System Company execute the rapidly transformation of business model to cope with changing situation. Specially, so far, ROSEWeb continuously keep on competitive advantage as floral distribution IT service through building core competence. this study shows that ROSEWeb's case broadly apply reference model to the building business model and formulating floral distribution service strategy and other internet business models. Finally, we intends to discuss about theses questions. the question is "by the existing state of entering Internet portal(Yahoo, Naver, Daum), Can ROSEWeb have sustainable competitive advantage in floral distribution service?", and "what is Newrun System's next business model?". Through the intensive interviews with people involved in the development of ROSEWeb, this article provides important implications to the business community who is preparing for new applications for mobile internet.

Among biological information, GenBank, provided by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)of the United States, is a representative database on genetic information and is the most widely used by researchers around the world. Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) visits NCBI on a regular basis and downloads the latest version of GenBank to reorganize the information gathered there into a database. This database is provided for Korean researchers of science and technology through the Bio-KRISTAL search engine, developed by KISTI. This study aims to design a service model that links information on papers, patents, and biodiversity and other contents of NDSL, an integrated service on scientific and technological information run by KISTI, with GenBank's reference and organism fields and to develop a prototype system. For this purpose, this paper explores the possibility of a linkage and convergence service between heterogeneous content by: (a) collecting GenBank data from NCBI's FTP site; (b) dividing GenBank text files into basic and reference genetic information and restructuring them into a database; (c) extracting article and patent information from the GenBank reference fields to generate new tables; and (d) leveraging data mapping technology to implement a prototype system where GenBank and NDSL data are interlinked and provided.

In recent years, smart technology has been applied to various information system fields. Especially, traditional library service area is changing to Smart-Library from Digital-Library. In this environment are need to library service software platform for supporting variety content, library services, users and smart-devices. Due to this, existing library service has a limitation that inhibits semantic interoperability between different heterogeneous library systems. In this paper, we propose Linked-Open-Data based smart library as an archetype of future-library system that provide a variety content and system interaction and integration of services. It is an innovative system of the cutting-edge information intensive. Therefore, we designed system environments according to various integration requirements for smart library based on Linked-Open-Data. And, we describe the functional requirements of smart-library systems by considering the users' demands and the eco-systems of information technology. In addition, we show the reference framework, which can accommodate the functional requirements and provide smart knowledge service to user through a variety of smart-devices.
