The quality of service in ERP services is a key issue in innovating the ERP performance as an IT service for corporations. Currently, most of the research works for this area are based on the existing quality models such as SERVQUAL, which are said not to measure service quality properly. Also, it does not consider the factor of the system acceptance, which is thought to be closely related to the quality of service in this type of IT services. Therefore, a research model is required, which can address the issues related to the ERP service quality measurements. In this paper, new research models have been proposed, and empirical data obtained from SME's ERP users have been applied to the proposed model to analyze the causal relationship between quality factors and to identify the most suitable quality measures. Also, the relationship between the service quality and the system acceptance was analyzed using a combined model. The results show that factors such as productivity and convenience affects the quality mostly and that the most appropriate measure for the service quality of ERP service is satisfaction. Also, for the system acceptance, the ease-of-use is the main factor. And, the service quality and system acceptance shows a strong correlation. This means that, in order to enhance the quality of ERP services, the service provider needs to provide customers with productivity-enhanced user-friendly IT services and active product support. The work of this research can help to improve the service quality and the user acceptance of ERP services and to lead further research works in this area.
Service quality research has been the subject of service studies for many years. This study is an exploratory study to improve the service quality measurement factor, and the research has been carried out reflecting the nature of the service; relationship quality, interactivity, horizontality, and harmony. Also, among the developed service quality measurement factors, the research model is reconstructed considering the major factors such as environmental quality, result quality, and convenience quality. Relationality and interactivity redesigned the quality factor, which is called interactive quality. The redesigned service quality factors consisted of interaction quality, result quality, environmental quality, convenience quality, harmonious quality, and horizontal quality. Experimental group evaluation was conducted on the quality factors and 18 measurement items were derived. A questionnaire was conducted to verify the validity of the 18 items. As a result of the questionnaire analysis, 6 factors and 15 items among the 18 items of service quality measurement factor were found valid. The six factors for the service quality measurement presented in this study are the results of the early stage research, but they can be used to improve the service quality factor in the future. However, this is significant because it reflects the characteristics of services that are consistent with the service economy. In particular, the horizontal quality and harmony quality factors are new factors not mentioned in the previous studies and need to be verified through further detailed studies. Further research is needed to improve the service quality measurement factors reflecting the nature of services and the characteristics of new services.

IT security service provides customers with the capability of protecting the networked information asset and infrastructures, and the scope of security service is expanding from a technology-intensive task to a comprehensive protection system for IT environment. To improve the quality of this service, a research model which help assess the quality is required. Several research models have been proposed and used in various service areas, but few cases are found for IT security service. In this work, a research model for the IT security quality has been proposed, based on research models such as SERVQUAL and E-S-QUAL. With the proposed model, factors which affect the service quality and the best quality measure have been identified. And the feasibility of using quantitative measures for quality has been examined. For analysis, structural equation modeling and various statistical methods such as principal component analysis were used. The result shows that satisfaction is the most significant measure affected by the proposed quality factors. Two quality factors, fulfillment and empathy, are the main determinants of the service quality. This leads to a strategy of quality improvement based on factors of emotion and perception, not of technology. The quantitative measures are considered as promising alternative measures, when combined with other measures. In order to design reliable quantitative measures, more work should be done on target processing time and users' expectation. It is hoped that work of this research will provide efficient tools and methods to improve the quality of IT security service and help future research works for other IT service areas.

Family Restaurant is a service business of a kind. The role of service operator is to improve a sales of service goods through maximizing the service value with customer satisfaction at the moment of MOT(moment of truth). Family Restaurant come to the great growth on the face of it. In future, it will place emphasis more and more on not hardware but software including service quality. The purpose of this study, therefore, is to research the effect on service quality of the job satisfaction of Family Restaurant's service staff. Data was collected from the employee who are working at Family Restaurant located in Taegu. The empirical research has been done over 50days from 1April, 2004 to 20May, 2004. In conclusion of empirical analysis, 4 hypotheses were significant among 7 hypotheses suggested in this study. The research showed as follows : First, the organic trait among the effect factor of job satisfaction perceived by Family Restaurant service staff showed positive influence on job satisfaction. Second, the personal trait among the effect factor of job satisfaction perceived by Family Restaurant service staff showed positive influence on service quality. Third, the official trait among the effect factor of job satisfaction perceived by Family Restaurant service staff showed negative influence on job satisfaction. Fourth, the organic trait among the effect factor of job satisfaction perceived by Family Restaurant service staff showed positive influence on service quality. Fifth, the personal trait among the effect factor of job satisfaction perceived by Family Restaurant service staff showed negative influence on service quality. Sixth, the organic trait among the effect factor of job satisfaction perceived by Family Restaurant service staff showed negative influence on service quality. Seventh, the job satisfaction of Family Restaurant service staff showed positive influence on service quality. Besides, the critical points of this study are as follows; First, we designated the subject of research to the employee of Family Restaurant only. Second, multi-situations(time, holiday) which can happen as service was offered, wasn't concerned. Third, as service quality was estimated by general service quality. the research in future should subdivide service quality more. I. finally, applied the pervious researches on job satisfaction and service quality in the employee of Family Restaurant. To extend more this research model in future, the variables like customer satisfaction should be added.
This is an exploratory research to examine the high-speed Internet access service's quality There are relatively scanty studies on telecommunication service quality such as the high-speed Internet access service. It has long been considered that service qualify are composed of process quality and outcome quality. Conducting an empirical research, we proposed that traditional outcome quality should be segmented with technical quality and outcome quality. Outcome quality is related to meeting consumer's needs to seek terminal value. In this paper, we explore to diagnose the well-known SERVQUAL's applicability to telecommunication industry and suggest some strategic and practical implications.
The importance of service quality in any service industry cannot be disputed. Shippers have increased expectations concerning the quality of shipping service they receive and carriers are struggling to meet these expectations. This struggle between shipper and carriers would suggest that there is room to improve much more understandings of how shipper define shipping service quality in the carriers' perspectives. This is an empirical investigation and study on the measurement of customer response and service quality as perceived by customer in the international transportation logistics system. The purpose of this study is to clarify factors of shipping service quality on the basis of service marketing concept. In order to fulfill the objectives, this paper combined research tools that include both empirical study and documentary research. Data was gathered from 132 freight forwarder by the use of questionnaire. In this study, the established hypotheses were generated on the basis of the service quality evaluation model(SERVQUAL, SERVPERF, and EP) and Gap model.
Since the competition of higher education is more and more critical, the improvement of educational services is importantly considered. Despite the current situations, there are few studies addressing the relationships between education service quality and its outcomes. As educational service quality plays a key role in improving student satisfaction, universities provides a high level of educational services for students and reinforce their competitiveness through student satisfaction. This research investigates the relationships among IT service quality, business education service quality, trust, student satisfaction and student loyalty. In so doing, the current study establishes a theoretical model to test the proposed relationships. The results further suggest that the indirect effect of the IT service quality and the business education service quality enhances its impact of student satisfaction, trust, student loyalty. Finally, the authors draw conclusions and further research directions.
While many services appear, it are performed in the various researches about a service. Among them, as to the basic reason for measuring the service level, in order to find out the strategy improving service quality. But the method for measuring quality of services up to date was unable to make it enough the role. This research tried to propose the approach systematically analyzing the human errors in order to improve service quality about the call center which utilizes the information technology. In fact, the human errors was found in the customer contact point in which the actual service is delivered. An interaction between the element for comprising call service was classified into 3 while defining the human error as 3 group. Moreover, the process where a service is delivered was classified according to 5 step and the generated error was measured in each step. The implication of this research looks at the service failure and dissatisfaction as the occurrence of the human errors and illustrates the service quality improvement as a correction or a reduction. This approach is used that service is materially easily understood and is formulated with the quality improvement strategy.

This study aims to improve knowledge of consumers' decision-making by testing a conceptual model that considers the hotel's service quality and service value toward customers' behavioral intentions using a mediator, which is the role of consumers' satisfaction. The object of this research is five-star hotels, which has become a significant segment of the general hotel industry and is undergoing rapid expansion. This research is a quantitative research using questionnaire as the sampling method answered by people who have stayed at five-star hotels before. The total of 150 valid respondents were used in this study. The collected data was processed by a statistical tool software, Partial Least Square (PLS). The major findings of this research showed that the relations between service quality and service value of five-star hotels do not have significant positive impact on consumers' behavioral intention, nonetheless the mediation analysis shows that customers' satisfaction partially mediates service quality and service value with consumers' behavioral intentions to stay. It means that in this case, consumers' satisfaction has an important role to mediate service value quality and service value. As a result, the study shows that four out of six hypotheses are supported. A couple of recommendations are suggested for further research.
The Electronic Commerce is expected as one of the most prospective industries in the 21th century, This research performed a survey and analysis is based on the results of the service quality model and previous research of the service quality in MIS. Service quality, one instrument developed by the marketing area, is provided as a possible measure of internet shopping mall, Service quality measures five service dimensions of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. The main purposes of this study are to develop an exploratory model based on service quality that can explain the factors of customer's perceived service quality and investigate how these factors are related to consumer satisfaction. The results of this survey are summarized as follows: (1) Reliability and responsiveness of internet shopping mall are evaluated as very important factors, (2) Service quality is an antecedent of consumer satisfaction, (3) Consumer satisfaction has a significant effect on purchase intentions.
