The Influence of a Mobile Platform for Food Delivery Services on Perceived Ease of Use and Customer Satisfaction (모바일 배달 전문 플랫폼의 서비스 특성이 지각된 용이성과 고객 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to analyze how specific features of a mobile platform such as economic feasibility, interactivity, safety, and design are correlated with perceived ease of use and customer satisfaction, targeting those who purchase delivery food on a mobile platform dedicated to delivery services. A survey was conducted on customers who had bought delivery food on a mobile platform and the data collection was conducted from August 19, 2019 to September 18, 2019, using 300 mobile platform service users. A total of 300 copies were retrieved. 249 valid samples of 300 copies were analyzed with SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23, and In addition, programs including SPSS and AMOS were used for the analysis of frequency, confirmatory factor, reliability and validity, correlation and structural equation model. Major findings of such analysis are as follows. First, design characteristic of a mobil platform had relevant impacts on perceived ease of use. However, economic feasibility, interactivity, and safety did not significantly affect perceived ease of use. Second, perceived ease of use had a significantly influenced on the extent of customer satisfaction. Hence, from practical and academical point of views based on the results of this analysis, this study is expected to provide directions and some practical and useful implications for a mobile platform for food delivery services.

  • Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) produced ATSC 2.0 standard, which has been used for a HD/SD digital broadcasting service with MPEG-2 Transport Stream (TS) as a delivery protocol. Recently, users might want to consume multimedia services without being constrained by transport network. However, MPEG-2 TS is not suitable protocol for IP network. Thus, ATSC has enacted ATSC 3.0 standard, which is designed for a hybrid service through a conversion of both broadcasting and broadband channels. The ATSC 3.0 specifies delivery protocols as MPEG Media Transport (MMT) for a broadcasting environment and Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH) for a broadband. However, it seems difficult to combine broadcast and broadband for hybrid broadcasting, and it is difficult to synchronize media data between MMT and DASH. This paper suggests various new service scenarios to be brought up by a hybrid broadcasting, ATSC 3.0, and also proposes a stable mechanism for switching contents between different delivery protocols such as MMT and DASH.

The Role of Attitude in the Relationship between Perceived Risk and Purchase Intention in the Context of Shopping Fashion Products Online (패션 제품 온라인 쇼핑 시 지각되는 위험과 구매 의도의 관계에 있어서 태도의 역할)

  • This study is designed to examine differences in the well known relationship between risk perception and purchase intention when shopping fashion products Online. In addition, the role of attitude in the process was investigated. 155 Korean college students and 165 U.S. college students participated in the study. Structural equation modeling with risk factors(product delivery, transaction, service) as antecedents, purchase intention as the consequence, and attitude as the mediating variable were analyzed. Results indicated that, for Korean respondents, product delivery risk and transaction risk had significant indirect effect on purchase intention through attitude. Service risk had significant direct effect. For U.S. respondents, product delivery risk had both direct and indirect effect on purchase intention whereas transaction risk had only indirect effect. Service risk did not have significant influence on purchase intention.

  • The purpose of this study is to find essential delivery service quality elements of internet shopping mall and to investigate the relationship among delivery service quality, satisfaction, trust, and loyalty in the area of internet shopping malls. To do so, theoretical literature review and empirical survey accomplished. The empirical results of this study are summarized as follows. Firstly, accuracy, quickness, safety, information providing, and institutional guarantee have a positive influence on satisfaction. Secondly, accuracy, quickness, information providing, and institutional guarantee have a positive influence on trust. Lastly, satisfaction has a positive influence on trust, and both of satisfaction and trust have a positive influence on loyalty in internet shopping malls. From the analyses of this study, we offer several implications both theoretical and practical perspective.

  • In this paper, we develop a planning system for the routing and scheduling of vehicles in pickup and delivery service such as door-to-door parcel service. Efficient routing and scheduling of vehicles is very important in pickup and delivery service. The routing and scheduling problem is a variation of vehicle routing problem which has various realistic constraints. We develop a heuristic algorithm based on tabu search to solve the routing and scheduling problem. We develop a routing and scheduling system installed the algorithm as a planning engine. The system manage the basic data and uses GIS data to make a realistic route plan.

  • 2008년부터 시작된 세계경제 위축은 전 세계 해상물동량 감소로 이어져 컨테이너선업계의 불황이 더욱 심화되고 있다. 선사들은 불황을 극복하기 위하여 여러 가지 전략들을 구사하고 있다. 대부분의 선사들은 잉여 선박의 추가투입으로 감속운항을 통해 선박 운영비용을 절감하고 있는데, 이와 같은 시도는 선사입장에서는 비용절감이 되지만 감속운항이 화물의 정시성을 저해하는 요소로 작용하고 있기 때문에 화주입장에서는 불만요인이 될 수 있다. 이러한 상황에서 'M'선사는 "On Time Delivery"를 보증하기 위해서 아시아-유럽항로에서 새로운 서비스인 Daily Maersk Service를 2011년 10월부터 적용하고 있다. 본 서비스는 아시아발 북유럽행 특정 기간 포트구간 수송에서 100% "On Time Delivery"를 보증하고, 또한 매일 화물수탁을 가능하게 한 신서비스이다. 본 연구에서는 업계 1위를 달리고 있는 'M'선사가 감속운항을 하면서도 화물의 정시성을 높이기 위해 실시하고 있는 Daily Maersk Service를 통하여 가격 경쟁과 더불어 서비스 경쟁에서도 우위를 확보하려는 전략이 효과를 나타내고 있는 지에 대하여 사례연구를 통하여 확인하였다.

  • TAn E-Mail system is one of the most important services for enterprise and electronic commerce end users on the Internet. However, security for an E-Mail service is not satisfied yet, an E-Mail system with security service is definitely required especially in electronic commerce system. In this paper, an E-Mail system with confirmation of e-mail delivery is proposed, The certification of delivery of E-Mail message is not provided in conventional E-Mail systems. The proposed E-Mail system is composed of this certification of delivery and basic security services. The certification of delivery can prove sender's E-Mail message is securely sent to legitimate receivers. The system is designed and implemented by Java Cryptography API.

  • Drone package delivery routing problem is realistic problem used to find efficient route of drone package delivery service. In this paper, we present an approach for solving drone routing problem for package delivery service using two different heuristics algorithms, genetic and nearest neighbor. We implement and analyze both heuristics algorithms for solving the problem efficiently with respect to cost and time. The respective experimental results show that for the range of customers 10 to 50 nearest neighbor and genetic algorithms can reduce the tour length on average by 34% and 40% respectively comparing to FIFO algorithm.
