The aim of this study is to explore the pre-service math teachers' characteristics of education to develop their AI literacy and SW competency, and to derive some implications. We conducted a 14-hours AI and SW education program for pre-service teachers with theory and practice, and an analysis on class observation data, video frames of classes and interview, Python programming assignments and papers. The results of this case study for 3 pre-service teachers are as follows. First, two students understood artificial neural network and deep learning system accurately, furthermore, all students conducted a couple of explorations related with performance improvement of deep learning system with interest. Second, coding and exploration activities using Python improved students' computational thinking as well as SW competency, which help them give convergence education in the future. Third, they responded positively to the necessity of AI literacy and SW competency development, and to applying coding to math class. Lastly, it's necessary to endeavor to give a coding education to the student's eye level according to his or her prerequisite and to ease the burden of student's studying AI technology.

The computer system validation consulting industry is growing as domestic GMP companies' overseas exports or advancements increase, and computer system validation has been mandatory in Korea since the 2010s, but domestic CSV consulting companies are small in size and have a short history, revealing many shortcomings in terms of service quality and customer satisfaction when conducting consulting. Research related to consulting has been mainly focused on management consulting and IT consulting, and research related to computer system validation is very insufficient. This study confirmed the effect of consultant competency and service quality on consulting performance, customer satisfaction, and intention to renew contract when performing computer system validation through empirical research on food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and medical device companies, which are representative companies in the GMP industry. As a result, it was confirmed that consultant competency and service quality had a significant effect on consulting performance, customer satisfaction, and intention to renew contract. In addition, it was confirmed that the reputation and expertise of consulting companies had a moderating effect on the relationship between consultant competency and consulting performance.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of psychosocial rehabilitation services on the independent living of the mentally ill people. The study was conducted using mentally ill people who were using services offered by psychosocial rehabilitation service center during the study period, have lived independently, and used the service center for three months or longer. The data analysis included 231 surveys collected from 42 agencies and then perform hierarchical regression analysis. As a study result, the number of types of psychosocial rehabilitation service used by the mentally ill people and the greater the satisfaction with the psychosocial rehabilitation service, the more independent living competency of the mentally ill people was received. This means that community-based integrated psychosocial rehabilitation service have the effect of contributing to strengthening the competency of independent living with the mentally ill people. Based on the research results, this study proposed the development of integrated mental rehabilitation service to improve the independence competency of the mentally ill people.
Purpose: We aimed to identify disaster preparedness, disaster response competency, and willingness to participate in disaster response among university students. Methods: Data were collected from the paramedic students after consent to this study through online. The period of data collection was from June 13 to August 3, 2023 and 207 questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS 27.0 program. Results: The subject's disaster preparedness was 7.67±3.10 out of 15, disaster response competency was 2.79±0.69 out of 5, and willingness to participate in disaster response was 6.06±4.59 out of 15. There was a significant difference in disaster preparedness depending on the disaster education experience (p<.001), in disaster response competency depending on the number of courses completed (p<.05), in willingness to participate in disaster response in cases of disaster experience (p<.05) and number of times disaster education was completed (F=3.146, p=.047). In particular, if the number of disaster training courses completed was three or more, disaster response competency and willingness to participate in disaster response were significantly high. There was a significant positive correlation between the subjects' disaster preparedness and disaster response competency (r=.655, p<.001). Conclusion: Three or more sessions of continuous disaster education is important, it will be necessary to develop educational content that matches the characteristics of the target subjects or college.
Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate the core competency of disaster management of 119 paramedics. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 242 paramedics in C area from April 28 to May 12, 2017. The study instrument included general characteristics of the subjects (4 items), disaster experience, recognition, and preparedness (20 items), and importance and performance of disaster management core competency (24 items) by Likert 5-point scale. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient using IBM SPSS 24.0. Results: The seriousness of personal disaster was 4.02 points and the importance of disaster-related education was 4.28 points. The importance to core competency of disaster management was 4.39 points and the ability to perform core competency was 3.58 points. The seriousness of personal disaster and the importance of disaster-related education were positively correlated (r=.600, p=.000). The importance and ability to perform core competency were positively correlated (r=.389, p=.000). Conclusion: It is necessary to strengthen core competency of disaster management in paramedics who are the first defense line of disaster.
Factors and causal structures of pre-service elementary teachers about the critical thinking and the scientific literacy competency were investigated in this study. The third grade university students and the first grade university students in the metropolitan city participated in this study. The factor analysis method and the structural equation modeling method were used for the data analysis, and the following results were obtained. First, the third grade university students and the first grade university students recognized 'inquisitive thinking' factor and 'reflective thinking' factor as factors of the critical thinking, and 'scientific explanation' factor and 'evidence-based conclusion' factor as factors of the scientific literacy competency respectively. Second, the third grade university students showed more the influence from 'reflective thinking' factor to 'scientific explanation' factor and from 'reflective thinking' factor to 'evidence-based conclusion' factor than the first grade university students.
The purpose if this study was to find and investigate effective mediation factors influencing performance of servitization through servitization acceptance activities by means of empirical results. According to the previous researches, two main mediation factors which were related with servitization competencies such as ICT competency of servitization and competency of servitization process were distinguished from lots of competencies which are relying on servitization process. Using a 373 sample data investigated from CEOs, directors and managers of small and medium sized firms in Korea, the structured mediation model was proposed. The measurement for the each variable was accepted for this study when the respondents were revealed to understand the servitization concepts which explained especially company's business moving towards the service specific gravity from selling existing products. The measurement for the each variable reflected that respondents were participating in any sort of servitization type or had intension to be involved with any servitization categories. The mediation hypotheses were tested in the way of analytical measures with the result of strong reliability. According to analysis, two mediators showed positive mediation role and statistically adopted between servitization acceptance activities and servitization performance in the 99% significant level. We confirmed that ICT competency of servitization and competency of servitization process were in the role of positive mediation between servitization acceptance activities and performance of servitization. The total of indirect effects were 0.2546 to support each mediation hypotheses. Tested two mediators were not on the same level. The most affecting mediation element on servitization performance was appeared as competency of servitization process. With the result of this study, we expect that the small and medium sized companies might have servitization business strategies including proper service competencies and mediators through acceptance activities to obtain suitable performance. According to the analysis, Companies which consider product-servitization need to set strategies to reinforce above two competencies.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of career development competency recognized by the specialists who major in food service currently. To achieve the purpose of this study, the five two-year-courses technical colleges in Kyeonggi-do, Daejeon, Daegu Metropolitan City which include food service department were selected. And total 280 samples of enrolled students were extracted and the 256 students were treated statistically besides the 24 students who responded dishonestly. The analysis results are as follows. First, the male students showed partially higher career development competencies than female students. Second, the second grade students showed partially higher career development competency than the first grade students. Third, the specialists whose family income is over 5 million won showed the highest career development competency, and the students in 3-5 million won and less than 3 million won followed them in order. Fourth, there were differences in competencies of lifelong learning, networking, collecting and utilizing the job information, and self-understanding, and career transition, and the specialists with more qualifications showed higher competency than those who with less qualifications. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a various career education program to enhance career development competencies of food service specialist by individual characteristic.
Objective: The purpose of this study is to identify the strengths and problems of the current in-service education system, and suggest ways to improve it in the future by looking at the current status of in-service education to strengthen the expertise of teachers and directors of childcare centers. In particular, I would like to search the current status of in-service education, including on-line special job competency education, which is responsible for one of the pillars of in-service education, and present the problems and measures to improve them. Methods: To that end, the present study conducted an analysis of issues based on the previous research on in-service education of childcare teachers' education, and conducted a literature examination focusing on laws, policies, and foreign cases related to in-service education. Results: In-service education for childcare teachers was categorized into educational process diversification and professionalism, educational method diversification, qualification management, and educational support, which were again organized into 14 core tasks. In addition, as a recent phenomenon that has not been discussed in detail in the preceding study, the phenomenon of increased participation in on-line special job competency education at the site of in-service education was analyzed and the problems were presented. Conclusion/Implications: Based on the results of this study, I proposed development measures such as changing the term 'in-service education' and recognizing the diversity of job competency education, the credit rating banking system for job competency education, the provision of on-line job competency education curriculum (basic courses/enhancing courses) for collective education courses, the expansion of education support for promotion to a higher grade courses and the conversion of the mandatory evaluation system for in-service educational institutions.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of introductory clinical practice education program for nursing students. The nursing students of 94 participated the introductory education program of 80 hours. The questionnaire survey on self efficacy and clinical competency were conducted 3 times(before education, after education, 2 months after education) to the nursing students. The data were analyzed by the SPSS 17.0 program. The results were as follows; The self efficacy and the clinical competency score showed a significant change in the posttest. Self efficacy and clinical competency have significant relationships with college life satisfaction, interpersonal relationship and academic aptitude satisfaction. Also, self efficacy has significant relationship with clinical competency and clinical practice satisfaction. As a result, the introductory clinical practice education program can be helpful to adjustment for nursing students before clinical practice.
