XML 기반의이기종 센서 데이터 관리 시스템 (XML Based Heterogeneous Sensory Data Management System)

  • The Wireless sensor networks (WSN) continuously generates large volumes of raw data which own natural heterogeneity. These networks are normally application specific with no sharing or reusability of sensor data among applications. In order for applications and services to be developed independently of particular network, sensor data need to be available in more standardized form. In this paper, we propose Architecture for Sensory data management. This Extensible Markup Language (XML) oriented architecture allows the sensor data to be understood and processed in a meaningful way by a variety of applications with different purposes. We developed a middle layer which performs transformation on raw sensory data to XML and vice versa.

  • In this study, the new prosthetic hand which can perform sensory feedback is developed. Although the continuous development of current prosthetic hands, they have some drawbacks. The drawbacks are the low grasping capabilities, the lack of sensory information given to the user, and so on. Despite the improvement of the function of fingers, the sensory information problem still remains undeveloped. By using differential gear and underactuated mechanical design, it can be solved with the minimum additional weight. And it will be applied to all of the prosthetic hands.

학교용 감각처리 평가도구 개발을 위한 작업치료사 욕구 조사 (Occupational Therapist Needs Survey for the Development of a Sensory Processing Evaluation Tool for Schools)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 국내 아동 작업치료사를 대상으로 학교에서의 감각처리 수행을 알아보기 위한 기존 평가방법과 기존 평가를 실시하는데 있어 한계점을 알아보고, 학교용 감각처리 평가도구 개발 필요성에 대한 욕구를 조사하여 새로운 평가도구 개발의 기초 자료를 제공하기 위한 것이다. 연구방법 : 학령기 아동의 작업치료 중재 경험이 3년 이상인 작업치료사 20명으로 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사는 온라인 설문조사와 전화면접을 통해 정보를 얻었다. 설문 내용은 일반적인 특성과 기존의 학교에서의 감각처리 평가 방법 및 한계점, 학교용 감각처리 평가도구의 필요성과 학교용 감각처리 평가도구 개발에 대한 의견 조사로 나누어 폐쇄형 질문은 12문항, 개방형 질문은 4문항으로 구성되었다. 결과 : 연구 대상자의 90%가 학령기 아동의 학교에서의 수행 정도를 부모나 아동을 통해'약간의 정보'를 파악하고 있다고 하였으며, 학교생활에서 감각처리와 관련 된 어려움에 대한 호소를 경험한 것은 '종종'이 50%, '보통정도'이상이 50%로 나타났다. 학교용 감각처리 평가도구 개발 필요성은'상당히 필요함'이상이 80%로 조사되었다. 결론 : 국내 아동을 담당하는 작업치료사들은 학교에서의 감각처리 능력을 파악하기 위한 평가도구 개발 필요성에 대한 욕구를 가지고 있으며, 평가도구 개발을 통해 학령기 아동의 작업치료 평가 및 중재에 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 판단하고 있다.

  • It is known that structure of Human's brain information system is controlled by cerebral cortex mainly. Cerebral cortex is divided by sensory area, motor area and associated area largely. Sensory area takes part in information from environment and motor area is actuation by decision as associated area determined. It is possible to copy brain information system by input-output pattern. but there is difficulty in modeling of memorizing new information. Such action is performed by Limbic Lobe and Papez circuit which is controlled by intrinsic emotion. So we need of definition of emotion's role in decision. In this paper, we define roles of emotion in intrinsic decision using Dynamic Cognitive Maps(DCMs). The emotion is evaluated by outside information then intrinsic decision performed as how much emotion variated. The dynamic cognitive maps take part in emotion evaluating process.

시청각 복합자극에 대한 인감감성의 변화 (Effects of Multimodal Stimuli on Human Sensibility)

  • When consumer evaluates a product, every aspec of the product affects the evaluation. Human uses at least five sensory organs for the evaluation. Multi-sensory or multi-modal design tries to add auditory and olfactory factors to the traditional visual-centered design. For the multi-modal design, it is essential to understand relationships between combined sensory stimuli and human sensibility. Information between simple sensory stimulus and human sensibility is pre-requisite to combine multi-modal stimuli. This study investigated human sensibility against 8 colors and 30 sounds, presented independently. The combined stimuli of color and sound were made based on the sensibility generated by each stimulus. Human sensibility generated by the combined stimuli of color and sound were made based on the sensibility generated by each stimulus. Human sensibility generated by the combined stimuli was investigated with 20 female subjects. For combined stimuli that generated the same kind of sensibility respectively, generated sensibility was same but strength was diminished. For combined stimuli that generated the different sensibilities respectively, subjects showed neutral sensibility or no special sensibilities. Sensibilities to the same stimuli also showed difference depending on personal background of the subjects.

  • This paper describes the quantitative analysis on the improvement of equilibrium sensory using virtual bicycle system. We have used a virtual bicycle system that combines virtual reality technology with a bicycle. In this experiment, 10 subjects were tested to investigate the influencing factors on equilibrium sensory. Straight road and curved road driving at several factors including cycling time, number of times of path deviation, and center of pressure(COP) were extracted and evaluated to quantify the extent of control. Also, To improve the effect of balance training, we investigated the usefulness of virtual feedback information by weight shift. The result showed that the system could be effective for equilibrium sensory rehabilitation training device. The analysis method might also have wider applicability to the rehabilitation field.

Neuroscientific Review on Sensory Stimulation Therapy and Virtual Reality for Somatosensory Rehabilitation

  • This study details the neuroscientific concept of somatosensation, general sensory stimulation therapy and virtual reality therapy. Somatosensation is a method that the human body uses to accept information from the inner and outer parts of the body. A traditional sensory stimulation therapy was designed to maximize neural recovery, but the neural recovery is most effective when the therapeutic environment is similar to real life. The virtual reality provides natural environment that users may perceive as meaningful and even participants with significant impairment can perform some of the activities of their daily lives within the virtual environment. The virtual reality will become a complementary part of somatosensory rehabilitation.

빛과 소리 자극에 대한 지각 운동의 협력에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Sensory Motor Coordination to Visual and Sound Stimulation)

  • We investigated the characteristic of the sensory motor coordination by measuring the hand point ins and the gaze movement to the visual and sound stimulation. Our results showed that the gaze vol ocity to sound stimulation did not depend on stimulation direction, but lagged behind 0.2 sec toward the pheriperal direction to the visual stimulation. Our data showed that to both visual and sound stimulation, the error of hand pointing value increased with an increasement of eccentricity.

국내 아동을 대상으로 하는 그룹 감각통합치료 중재에 관한 체계적 고찰 (A Systematic Review on the Intervention of Group Sensory Integration Therapy for Children in Korea)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 국내 장애 및 비장애 아동에게 적용된 그룹 감각통합치료 중재에 대해 정리하고 효과를 제시하고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 검색 기간은 2010년 1월부터 2021년 12월까지로 하였으며, 자료 검색을 위하여 '대한감각통합치료학회', '대한작업치료학회', '한국학술정보(KISS)', '학술연구정보서비스(RISS)', '디비피아(DBpia)'의 데이터베이스를 이용하였다. 총 11편이 선정되었으며, PICO(Patient, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome) 방법을 적용하여 체계적으로 정리하였다. 결과 : 연구 결과 단일 집단 비무작위 연구가 11편 중 8편(72.73%)으로 가장 많았다. 대상자는 99명으로 연령은 3세에서 11세까지였으며, 평균 7.39세였다. 그 중 장애아동이 더 많았으며, 진단은 발달장애가 99명 중 40명(40.41%)으로 가장 많았다. 치료 중재 회기는 총 5회에서 45회까지였으며, 주 1회 또는 2회, 시간은 60분 제공이 가장 많았다. 평가도구는 캐나다 작업 수행 측정(Canadian Occupational Performance Measure; COPM)과 또래 놀이 상호작용 평점 척도(Penn Interactive Peer Play Scale; PIPPS)가 각 4회(12.90%)로 가장 많이 사용되었다. 치료 중재 목표로는 사회 상호작용 기술이 8편(36.36%)으로 가장 많았다. 치료 중재 결과 8편의 연구에서 유의한 결과를 보였다. 결론 : 본 연구를 바탕으로 향후에는 높은 질적 수준을 근거로 한 다양한 그룹 감각통합치료의 중재 방법을 체계적으로 제시하여 임상에서 유용한 정보로 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.

The Effect of 24-week Sensory Integration Activity Training on fitness of Children with Intellectual disability

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of 24-week sensory integration activity training on fitness of children with intellectual disability. Research design, data, and methodology: The subjects were 10 children with intellectual disability, 60 min training of sensory integration activity for 24 weeks. Obesity, cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and muscle endurance were measured pre and post training. Frist, characteristics of subjects were measured with age, height, weight, IQ and SQ. Second, the subjects then performed sensory integration activity training for 24 weeks. Last, weight, strength, endurance, cardiovascular endurance and flexibility were measured. Data were calculated for average and standard deviation by SPSS 25.0 statistic program, and dependent sample t-test was processed to analyze the change between pre and post training. All statistical significance level was set to 0.5. Results: The result was shown that weight, strength and endurance changes between pre and post were significant. However, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility changes between pre and post were not significant. Conclusions: The lack of training frequency of 60 minute per week were acknowledged per week from this result. In future research, increased intensity and frequency are need for an in-depth and meaningful study and the measured data can be used basic information for the study.
