  • This research was conducted to develop pricing strategy based on understanding about customer perceived value of lodging facilities in national recreation forest. The technique known as PSM (price-sensitivity measurement) was used for analysis of price sensitivity for two kinds of lodging (log-cabin and forest-hotel) and for room sizes (4, 5, 6, 7 persons). PSM questionnaire for on-site survey were distributed to 236 customers on their visit to the six national recreation forests. The main results of this study were as follows: the price sensitivity of big size was higher then small, also, the price sensitivity of log cabin was higher then forest-hotel. Present prices were within the range of acceptable prices except prices of the use of 6 and 7 person of log-cabin. From the result of this study, it was concluded that price adjustment or price promotion strategy would effective for increase in sales and marketing strategies to enhance consumers' perceptions of value should be conducted for two room types by situations.

  • Analytical sensitivity on TDM test is the lowest concentration that can be distinguished from background noise. The aim of study was to evaluate analytical sensitivity that is also referred to as the lower limit of detection(LLD) about difference between zero calibrator and isotonic saline sample. We tested for 10 days with zero calibrators and 0.85% saline samples while running trilevel control samples under control. Raw data divided by two groups calculated mean and standard deviation from two sample populations and analytical sensitivity by ${\bar{X}}+2SD$. In comparison with isotonic saline samples and zero calibrators, there were significant differences in phenytoin, phenobarbital and vancomycin, etc. Especially analytical sensitivity on phenytoin is at the same level as the upper limit of analytical measurement range with $40{\mu}g/mL$. We think the cause of this is matrix interference. In conclusion, we were sure that standard protocol for analytical sensitivity as lower limit of analytical measurement range on TDM test must be measured with zero standard rather than an isotonic saline sample and type 1 reagent DW for reducing matrix effects within interactions between different materials in a mixture.

  • The study was conducted to predict usage attitudes and behaviors by combining usage motivation and sensitivity, gender, and age in aviation-related social media. Specifically, the purpose of this study was to examine the effects of social media information acceptance, motivation and sensitivity on gender acceptance by gender and age. To this end, we collected data in an even distribution to prevent gender and age bias among adults aged 20 or older online from April 19 to May 3, 2018. As a result, the lower the female and age in the gender and age had a positive effect on the acceptance of social media information. Motivation for use has a positive effect on information acceptance and sensitivity has a negative effect on information acceptance. Through this, it was found that user class such as gender and age, motivation to use, and sensitivity affect information acceptance. In addition, the negative aspects of the sensitivity factor can be identified, and it is expected to be used as basic data in aviation-related social media marketing strategies.

  • The building energy performance indicator, called Energy Performance Index (EPI), has been used for the past decades in South Korea. It has a list of design variables assigned with weighting factors (a, b). Unfortunately, the current EPI method is not performance-based but very close to a prescriptive rating. With this in mind, this study aims to propose a new performance-based EPI method. For this purpose, a global sensitivity analysis method, Sobol, is employed. The Sobol method is suitable for complex nonlinear models and can decompose all the output variance due to every input. The Sobol sensitivity index of each variable is defined as 0 to 1 (0 to 100%), and the sum of all sensitivity indices is equal to 1 (100%). In this study, an office building was modeled using EnergyPlus and then the Latin Hypercube Sampling (LHS) was conducted to generate a surrogate model to EnergyPlus. The sensitivity index was suggested to replace weight (a) in the existing EPI. In addition, the discrete weight (b) in the existing EPI was replaced by a set of continuous regression functions. Due to the introduction of the sensitivity index and the continuous regression functions, the new proposed approach can provide far more accurate outcome than the existing EPI (R2: 0.83 vs. R2: 0.01 for cooling, R2: 0.66 vs. R2: 0.01 for total energy). The new proposed approach proves to be more rational, objective and performance-based than the existing EPI method.

  • Eco-friendly consumption is a prominent trend in the fashion industry, by which many firms attract the interest of consumers using a green marketing strategy. However, "greenwashing" (caused by distorted, exaggerated, and false information) gives rise to consumer confusion. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of consumer confusion and value on price sensitivity and purchase intention. Data was collected from 228 respondents using a questionnaire that was distributed to consumers living in Seoul and Kyunggi, South Korea. The data was analyzed by factor analysis, regression analysis, and Cronbach's alpha using SPSS 23.0. The results were as follows: First, factor analysis showed the consumer value variable was significantly categorized in altruistic and self-expressive values. All variables (altruism, selfexpression, consumer confusion, price sensitivity, and purchase intention) were shown to have significantly good internal validity. Second, altruistic consumer value was shown to positively affect the purchase intention of eco-friendly fashion products, but self-expressive consumer value had no significant effect. Third, consumer confusion on eco-friendly fashion products had a negative effect on purchase intention. Fourth, altruistic and self-expressive consumer values had no effect on price sensitivity. Fifth, consumer confusion on eco-friendly fashion products positively affect price sensitivity. Sixth, price sensitivity on eco-friendly fashion products had a negative effect on purchase intention. Therefore, fashion firms should provide a certified green mark to consumers to eliminate confusion and deliver the right message without greenwashing. Moreover, fashion firms should develop green marketing strategies that are more focused on altruistic consumers.

  • Today, our indoor space requires a user-centered considering design that satisfies even human sensitivity. The word 'sensitivity' is being frequently used in the design market recently and this means that consumers are becoming more sensitive. For this reason, the characteristics of Toyo Ito's architecture, which are innocent due to its natural structure and materials, are suggested as a sensitive lighting stand design which can relieve users' stress from daily life and bring a psychological stability. As such, sensitivity lighting can create a lighting environment that considers consumers in various spaces along with the development of new scientific technologies and develop in a new direction of aesthetical beauty and eco-friendly area. In this study, a natural and sensitive lighting stand is suggested where a variety of digital art techniques of LED are applied based on formative characteristics of relationship, one of Toyo Ito's architectural concept factors. Such sensitivity lighting designs can not only realize a type-free design but also suggest a creation of the atmosphere which is close to nature.

  • The aim of this study was to examine price sensitivity of industrial products purchased via a group buying system and how industrial products for a group buying system differ from general industrial products, and then identify the major factors in selecting products and the important determinants in purchasing industrial products for school foodservices. The survey was conducted with 250 dietitians (teachers) in Gyeonggi-do Province, who were using industrial products for a group buying system and general industrial products. A paired t-test showed a difference in satisfaction between industrial products for a group buying system and general industrial products by factors, while statistically significant differences were found for red pepper paste, fermented soybean paste and soy sauce in all nine satisfaction factors, including product quality, packaging state, labeling, hygiene, item diversity, specification diversity, price appropriateness and supply. Moreover, analyzing price sensitivity for industrial products for a group buying system, using the PSM method with respect to the issue of high price, showed that the respondents considered that the current unit purchase prices were high for all items investigated. This study suggests that schools would purchase more industrial products for a group buying system, when the pricing of the products are considered with the purchase intention of dietitians (teachers).
