The objectives of this research is to compare UX elements influencing the satisfaction of users in Korea and North America according to product types of mobile commerce services, to determine UX INDEX suitable for each type of service, and to derive positively influencing UI factors through analyzing the relationship between UX INDEX and UX design detail factors. This research showed that there was difference in perceived reliability according to selling product types and there was difference in both perceived usefulness and reliability according to users in Korea and North America. Also, this research found out that, in analysis of relationship between UX INDEX and UX design detail factors, UI factors to understand a service structure generally showed close relationship but factors such as troubleshooting and help showed difference between users in Korea and users in North America.

The paper presents a procedure for how to development and theoretical review on Dissolved Gas Analyzer. the information of abnormal thermal stress on electrical power equipment by testing the gas is validated to easy by the gas analyzer presented in the paper. the analyzed information is used to evaluate the stability of electrical power equipment. the existing and selling DGA(dissolved gas analyzer) is so expensive and vast that all DGA product comes from foreign country. The objective of the paper is to prove that PAS(photoacoustic spectroscopy) based on a compact portable DGA solve the fixed type of DGA in order to eliminate the occurring issue directly or indirectly. the proposed DGA is easy to handle, and this can also analysis in real time for testing electrical power equipment. By applying the proposed portable, DGA be utilized in the currently electrical power equipment that are being implemented to reduce cycle of analysis of dissolved gas, it can contribute to improving safety by providing the agility of the evaluation of degradation.
The ZZimzilbang is a room where many women eagerly go due to the special meaning women give to it related to their health. It is a different type of sauna room which maintains low degree of temperature, consisting of an Ondol room(Korean under-floor heating system, hypocaust) built with mineral stone radiating ultrared rays. Even though many women mention that they utilize it for health, there is no precise evidence of the effects on their health. This ethnographic study sought to define the phenomenon from the perspective of the women who experienced the ZZimzilbang. A convenience sample of 27 women was interviewed during a 15 month period from December 1995 to July 1997 in 12 ZZimzilbangs located in Seoul, Korea. The mean ages of the women 57.3 years ; seventeen women were housekeeper and only eight women had job : twenty women were married and three women among them were widows. The main reasons women patronize the place are : for mitigation and healing of physical signs and symptoms : composure ; safe lodging and boarding : control of outward appearance : control of health ; meeting and fellowship with friends : and custom. The outcomes of the utilization of the place were : mitigation of physical signs and symptoms : psychological tranquility : cosmetic and diet ; good use of spare time : and utilization of services provided there. Most women who visited ZZimzilbang for relief of physical signs and symptoms strongly mentioned a correlation to inadequate Sanhujori, the traditional postpartal and postabortal care for woman. Some of specific kinds of services provided in that place were alternative therapy such as acupuncture, negative cupping, finger-pressure, mugwort steam and various kinds of massage including massage of blood vessels that are influenced by Oriental medicine ; health education of breathing such as abdominal breathing or Danjeon(단전호흡) : and selling of many things including health foods, drugs for osteoporosis, and eutrophics. This study suggests that professional caregivers should further study this phenomenon for the development of adequate care of women with a resulting important in their quality of life.
Internet shopping malls have rapidly developed within the economic recession due to changed lifestyle according to digitalization. Furthermore, customers in the 20~30s, the main consumer base of internet shopping malls in Korea, have begun to enjoy the new cultural trend of party culture, thus creating a new fashion market combining party and fashion. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze design characteristics of internet party-wear shopping malls to provide guidelines and to present basic data for design development of party-wear in internet shopping malls. Research method was used by combining literary research with empirical research of analyzing design by capturing pictures of internet party-wear shopping malls. The following conclusion was drawn from research results. First, Party-wear consumption of internet shopping malls is increasing along with the increased sales of clothing fashion products of internet shopping malls. Second, design analysis results regarding 11 internet shopping malls selling party-wear was presented that consumer emotion and trend were combined according to distinct characteristics to display romantic style, romantic style mixed with modern or casual characteristics, sexy, and etc. Third, dress was presented as the most common item with 52.3% in item analysis executed on 588 pictures captured in 11 shopping malls. Ribbon was shown as the most common detail and trimming item, with 28.7%, and corsage and frills were each presented as 13%.
This study is in order to promote agricultural products sold in the rural village festivals direct transaction marketplace and enabled by a comprehensive user evaluation of the rural village festivals direct transaction marketplaces in universal design perspective, provide a design plan for your care and comfort of a rural village festival Direct Deals Marketplace there is a purpose. Thus, redefining the principles of universal design suitable for direct transactions rural village festival marketplaces, and to do this by reclassifying the design elements of the farmstand-type in a framework was developed 30 questions to evaluate items for Universal Design Evaluation. And, the selection of three villages along the rural village festivals scale and conducted a survey of Universal Design Rating. As a result, the overall assessment was positive for B villages of rural village festival marketplaces direct transactions, there was a significant difference with the other village. In particular, there was a notable difference in the fairness, efficiency, promotional, safety and hygiene. And, there was a significant difference in design elements for directing atmosphere by selling space, product display, hygiene. This paper presents the design suggestions about a rural village festivals farmers' market aspects of universal design for improvement of the marketplace as following, 1) placement for differentiation the markerplace and around sites in the festival place, 2) to build the operating systems of sustainable management for arrangement and organization during the festival, 3) to install the device for maintaining agricultural products freshness 4) to separate the sale of local specialty products and general food products, and 5) to locate the suitable space considering the visitors tour route in the festival place for large-scale festival.

The purpose of the study was to explore differences in perceived importance among factors of motives for participating in outdoor sports, product selection criteria of outdoor sportswear and store selection criteria, and in buying frequencies among store types and store locations. Another purpose was to find differences in importance of product selection criteria of outdoor sportswear and store selection criteria and in buying frequencies according to store types and store locations among groups according to motives for participation in outdoor sports. The questionnaire was developed by the researcher and was collected by 221 women aged between 40 and 59. The questionnaire was composed of four parts including participation motives, store selection criteria, and product selection criteria measured by Likert type scale, and demographic characteristics measured by nominal scale. Data were analyzed by frequency test, factor analysis, repeated measure ANOVA, Bonferroni adjusted t-test, cluster analysis by Ward method, ANOVA and Tukey's test as a post-hoc test. The results of the study showed that middle-aged women rated health improvement motive as the most important factor for participating in outdoor sports. Among product selection criteria, comfort was the most important, and among store selection, personal selling was the most important. Among store types, buying frequency in off-price store was the highest and among store locations, buying frequency in stores in a residential area was the highest. Moreover, three groups were classified according to motives for participation in outdoor sports: the health improvement motive group, the conspicuous/sociable motive group, the lower motive group The health improvement motive group rated comfort as the most important factor for product selection criteria, and showed the highest buying frequency in downtown stores. Conspicuous/sociable motive groups valued design and utilization for an everyday wear and shopped more frequently in specialty store and/or in downtown stores.
The aim of this study was to establish the identity of Korean traditional food based on the recorded food preferences during the period of the Chosun Dynasty. Our primary source in this regard was the invaluable, historical document called the "Miam's diary." This important document reveals details of such food preferences from October 1567 to September 1568. By analyzing the income-expenditure trends of virtually every household, this diary was used to describe a vivid traditional food preference of the people during that period. A detailed analysis of the diary reveals the summary of families' characteristics in the 16th century. First, it records the fact that expenditure on food was mainly based on stipend and gifts received. The type of food preferred by the people was diverse in nature; for it included rice, bean, chicken, pheasant, and seafood. However, there were dried or pickled forms too so as to prevent them from undergoing decay. Second, it throws light on the fact that people expended food mainly as a salary for servants. People utilized the income from selling such food items to purchase goods and land. They also used the same either to donate for a funeral or wedding purpose. Third, it records the fact that day-to-day purchase of groceries was mostly based on gift(s) for someone close to them such as a neighbor, colleague, relative, or student. Further, such gifts included small groceries, food items, and clothes. Fourth, based on the data available in the diary, it seemed likely that the gentry families laid emphasis on the customary formalities of a family dating back to as early as the late 16th century. Finally, the document also records the fact that noblemen of the Chosun Dynasty had a notion that they had to extend warmth and affection by presenting generous gifts to their guests at home. Noblemen during that period were very particular in welcoming their guests as they believed that this approach alone would testify their status as noblemen.
This study aims at providing an economic assessment for incineration plants which recover heat during its incineration process. In this study, Life Cycle Cost(LCC) of incineration plants is performed based on each regression analysis formula for construction cost, operation cost, and heat generation in order to compare economic feasibility. The result shows that the incineration plant recovering waste heat while processing 80 tons of waste per day increases both initial investment and operation cost but this type of an incineration plant has economical predominance from the recovered waste heat over the one that does not recover heat when being operated for more than eleven years if the retrieved heat replaces the use of LNG. And its payback time reaches more than 19 years in case of selling heat and performing emission trading.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the best way that Oriental medicine contributes for activation of pharmacy management after the separation of prescribing and dispensing practice since July 2000. In order to investigate current pharmacy conditions for handling of Oriental medicine and many problems for administering the Oriental medicine to patients, a questionnaire was written with a list of questions related to pharmacy management with Oriental medicine, and given to 58 subjects via fax or personal visit during the period of April 21 to 30, 2003. The research results was as follows; In th 58 subjects, 45 subjects (77.6%) were pharmacists with a licence for dispensing Oriental medicine. 70.7% of subjects most likely preferred to extract granule as administering type of oriental medicine. About the motivation using Oriental medicine, the reason for activation of pharmacy management was 39.7%, second, the reason for resolving the limitation of treatment over western medicine was 25.9%. Oriental medicine for patients was mainly administered by recommendation with pharmacist (65.5%). In comparison with after and before the separation of prescribing and dispensing, 51.7% of subjects answered that sale volume was decreased after the separation. Concerning the ratio of total sales volume to Oriental medicine within 5 years, 50% of subjects expected that sales volume will increase positively. About treating Oriental medcine, 34.5% of subjects thought the problem is the regulation by limiting 100 kinds of formulary. The most important factor for increasing Oriental medicine selling amount was continueous education for various information of oriental medicine in case of 44.8% of sujects. The best pharmacy to handle oriental medicine was community pharmacy (36.2%). It was expressed the reason why many pharmacists have not been treated oriental medicine because lots of time needs for dispensing prescription from clinics in these 4 years after the separation of prescribing and dispensing. These results lead to the conclusion that the Oriental medicine at pharmacy will greatly increase within 5 years and will be very important portion for pharmacy management.
The purpose of this study was to increase the utilization of traditional snacks in the Daejeon, Chungnam and Sejong regions by investigating the awareness of traditional snacks by parents and teachers of Children's foodservice facilities. The survey method was a self-monitored survey, and 576 people (298 parents, 278 teachers) were used for statistical analyses. 66.4% of parents believed that the snacks provided at facilities are nutritious, and that traditional snacks are rich in nutrition but difficult to cook (66.1%). Further, 77% of parents preferred traditional snacks, and 92% thought that traditional snacks should be passed on to future generations and continuously developed. Increasing the number of stores selling traditional snacks (41%) and a generalized awareness of traditional snacks (34%) are needed to expand the use consumption of traditional snacks. For teachers of Children's foodservice facilities, 92.8% said that the number of snacks provided per day was twice, and snacks were made and served more than twice a week (77.7%). The reasons for not making these traditional snacksit more often were the long cooking time (47.1%) and lack of labor (20.5%). There were no differences in the perceptions of traditional snacks among the types of children's foodservice facilities, but the private and public facilities showed a higher usage demand than the family type foodservice facilities for of traditional snack-focused food education programs. In order to increase the utilization of traditional snacks, it is necessary to create programs according to the facility types and to develop traditional snacks to meet the needs of consumers. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for the development of instructions and programs for increasing the consumption of traditional snacks at children's foodservice facilities.
