  • This study is to design a method of parameter estimation for a second order linear time invarient system of self-tuning controller utilizing the neural network theory proposed by Hopfield. The result is compared with the other methods which are commonly used in controller theories.

  • This article describes a novel model-based compensating neural network (NN) model developed to be used in our active binocular head controller, which addresses both the kinematics and dynamics aspects in trying to precisely track a moving object of interest to keep it in view. The compensating NN model is constructed using two classes of self-tuning neural models: namely Neural Gas (NG) algorithm and SoftMax function networks. The resultant servo controller is shown to be able to handle the tracking problem with a minimum knowledge of the dynamic aspects of the system.

  • This paper suggests that the immune algorithm can effectively be used in tuning of a multivariable system. Then artificial immune network always has a new paraller decentralized processing mechanism for various situations, since antibodies communication to each other among different species of antibodies/B-cells through the simulation and suppression chains among antibodies that form a large-scaled network. In addition to that, the structure of the network is not fixed, but varies continuously.   • This paper represents the control software development for Direct Drive Arm Robot with the WHILE language composed the 68000 assembly language and high level language modula-2. Direct Drive Ann Robot needs the control program which is fast step and exactly position moving because Direct Drive Arm Robt depends on accuracy. We found that the self-tuning algorithm for this robot control is very good for the real time control and the floating point operation using the 32 bit CPU(MC 68020) controller.

  • This paper are the manufacture of controller of direct drive arm robot using 32 bit CPU(MC 69020). The work would draw on KIT of Robotics Laboratory whose extensive experience in 16 bit CPU Controller(MC 68008) in addition to the WHILE languages. We found that this controller is good for the direct drive arm robot controller for the use of self-tuning algorithms and real time control.

  • 회로의 간편성에 최대 역점을 두어 PLL을 이용한 정현파 간섭음을 실시간으로 제거하는 방식을 제안하였다. SC 여파기를 이용한 적응 노치 여파기ㅘ 적응 대역 여파기를 자기 동조법으로 구동시킴으 로써 간섭음을 제거하였다. SC 여파기의 구동 스위칭 주파수는 제거하려는 신호 주파수으 L49배가 되 도록 하엿으며 소자의 동작 특성상 4KHz의 간섭음 제거 대역을 갖게 된다. 노치 여파기는 6차 여파기 이고 감쇄도는 중심 주파수에서 약 -56dB이다.

  • Sometimes, there are conditions when rapid control of the hypertension needed such as malignant hypertension, and the preoperative pereparation of the hypertensive patient requiring emergency operation, etc. Using the adaptive control algorithm, the mean arterial pressure reduction is achived rapidly and safely in hypertensive rabbit. Among the adaptive control algorithms the pole assignment self tuning control algorithm is superial to the one step ahead minium variance control algorithm. The convergence time is less than 600 sec, and the standard deviation of experimental data are less than 4 mmHg.

  • A Clustering Adaptive Fuzzy Logic Controller(CAFLC) is applied to the torque control of a brushless do motor drive. Objective of this system includes elimination of torque ripple due to cogging at low speeds under loads. The CAFLC implemented has advantages of computational simplicity, and self-tuning characteristics. Simulation results showed that the torque ripple and dynamic response of the system using a CAFLC were superior to the model reference adaptive controlled system.

  • A high precision position control techinque of Brushless DC(BLDC) motor system with time varying parameters is expressed using the self tuning control method. The time varying parameters is estimated on real time by detecting voltage references from controller and mechanical motor speeds from tacho-generator. The effectiveness of the method is evaluated through the positon control experimental results of a BLDC motor system for reference change and arbitrary disturbance.

  • In this study, we selected a DC servo motor as an actuator of the marine diesel engine governor and constructed the position control system of the DC servo motor using the algorithm proposed by authors. Next, we proposed an another method to construct an adaptive control system for marine diesel engine by regarding the controlled system including the DC servo motor as a second order controlled system and verified the validity of this method through the real time control responses. Finally, the results have shown a good response characteristic.
