Objective : The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of the oral health behavior of oral prophylaxis clients and some residents in a community to their simplified oral environment index. Methods : The subjects in this study were 520 people who had their teeth cleaned in the oral prophylaxis practice lab in the department of dental hygiene at J health college. A survey was conducted from March 23 to June 3, 2010, by way of the self-reported questionnaire. The data materials are analyzed by general characteristics frequency and ratio, the relationship of oral health behavior and sex, age, scaling experience, simplified oral hygiene index $x^{2}$ test analysis. Results : 1. Concerning links between gender and oral health behavior including daily toothbrushing frequency, the largest group of the respondents brushed their teeth three times a day(p<0.05). As to educational experiences on toothbrushing method and the use of oral hygiene supplies, the women had more educational experiences than the men(p<0.05). 2. Regarding connections between age and oral health behavior involving daily toothbrushing frequency, the largest number of the respondents brushed their teeth three times a day in every age group (p <0.001). As for educational experiences on toothbrushing method, those who were in their 50s and up(64.7%) learned about that, and they had more educational experiences with age(p<0.05). As for scaling experiences, the older respondents had their teeth scaled more often (p<0.001). 3. As to relationship between scaling experiences and oral health behavior, there were differences in toothbrushing frequency according to scaling experiences(p <0.05). Regarding educational experiences on toothbrushing method, those who had their teeth cleaned received more toothbrushing education(p<0.001). Concerning smoking, the nonsmokers had more experiences to get their teeth cleaned (p<0.001). 4. As for links between simplified oral environment index and oral health behavior including a time for toothbrushing, the respondents who did toothbrushing after every meal(80.4%) had good simplified oral environment indexes(p<0.05). 5. In regard to relationship between simplified oral environment index and oral health behavior, oral environment index had a positive correlation to the use of oral hygiene supplies( r=0.129**), toothbrushing time(r=0.116**) and educational experiences on toothbrushing method (r=0.099**). Smoking(r=-0.092**) had a negative correlation to that. Conclusion : The above-mentioned findings illustrate that oral health behavior is one of crucial factors to affect oral health status and oral environment care. Therefore oral prophylaxis practice lab visitors should receive education on the right toothbrushing method and the use of oral hygiene supplies to promote their oral health, and an incremental oral health care system that involves regular scaling should be introduced.
Objectives : This study was carried out with the aim of utilizing it as basic data in a plan for oral health promotion by analyzing oral-health awareness in high school students of some districts in our country, and by analyzing physical, mental and social influential factors in oral health, through using OHIP(Oral Health Impact Profile). Methods : It surveyed by carrying out self-administered questionnaire research targeting 536 boy & girl high school students in the 1st and the 2nd grade at 3 high schools in some districts of Gyeonggi Province. Results : 1. As for experience of having not visited dental clinic, a case of having not visited accounted for 32.5%. On the other hand, a case of having visited accounted for 67.5%. As for the appearance of oral health education, only 2.8% responded as saying of having experience. 97.2% responded as saying of having not taken oral health education. 2. As for oral health state perceived by oneself, the response as saying of 'thinking it to be healthy' and that 'there is something wrong' showed the distribution of 34.1% that is the same ratio. As for oral health interest, a case of having a little interest(58.4%) or of being so much interested(12.5%) showed 70.9%. A case of having no special interest(24.8%) or of having no interest at all(4.3%) showed the level of 29.1%.3. As for oral health knowledge, the toothbrushing knowledge was the highest with 4.54 marks out of 6-point perfection. The toothbrush knowledge(4-point perfection) showed low point with 2.05 marks. 4. By gender, a case of men was high in OHIP(Oral Health Impact Profile) for the functional restriction and physical pain. On the other hand, in the remaining sphere, women were indicated to be high in OHIP. The statistically significant difference was indicated in the spheres such as physical pain, psychological discomfort, a drop in psychological ability, a drop in social ability, and social separation. 5. According to oral health state perceived by oneself, a case of thinking it to be healthy was indicated to be high in OHIP for every sphere. A case of thinking it to have gum disease was indicated to be low in OHIP for every sphere. The statistically significant difference was indicated in every sphere except the sphere of functional restriction. 6. As for a factor of having influence upon OHIP according to oral health knowledge, it was indicated that the higher toothbrush knowledge leads to having more influence upon OHIP. Conclusions : It could be known that the oral health knowledge and OHIP are varied as well according to the oral health interest level. Also, the oral health education proper for subjects is not being performed. Even as for frequency of visiting the dentist, a regular visit is failing to be made. In consideration of these points, the diversified and effective educational program is likely considered to be necessarily developed and improved that subjects can have more interest in oral health.
This study identified the health habits affecting health status of industrial workers. Data was collected from 965 workers in 58 companies at Buchon. The research conducted a self-administered questionnaire survey and obtained the workers' health examination records. The results were as follows: 1. Among 965 respondents, men were 82.4%, women were 17.6%, 44.5% were of the 30${\sim}$40 age group, the married were 67.4%, the single were 30.8%, high school graduates were 81.1% and 38.8% were of people who worked between 1 and 5 years 2. As far as the seven health habits, current smokers were 52.8%, people who regularly exercise was 28.5%, 7${\sim}$8 hour of sleep, on the average were 71.4%, people eating breakfast nearly every day were 8.8%, and people eating between meals almost every day were 46.5%. Heavy drinkers who drink 3${\sim}$4 times or more per week were 14.2%, 1${\sim}$2 times per week were 32.6% and the obese were 9.3%. 3, Health status of A and B, estimated by doctors in the health examination were 80.8% and C, D1, D2, the unhealthy were 19.2%. For men, those who reported more than women in unhealthy groups and the results regarding health status reflects those for gender, educational level and age. That is to say that, lower educational level group and over 30 years of age group perceive their health to be worse than the higher educational level and under 30 age group. And these differences were statistically significant. 4. The relationship between health habits and health status were examined based on the odds ratio. Current smokers had a consistently worse health status than a non smokers with a 1.98 odds ratio. The workers who reported eating breakfast rarely or never were more associated with the unhealthy group than the regular breakfast eating group with a 2.96 odds ratio. One or more drink per week had a worse health status than a never or a little drinker with a 1.56 odds ratio. 5. General health habit score and duration of work were selected as significant factors influencing health status from the result of logistic regression analysis. According to the results of this model, the odds ratio of good health status was 2.08 for good health habit score, 1.63 for workers who worked five years or more duration at work. In summary, good health habits were associated with good health status. In particular, the workers who had 5 or more desirable health habits had a significantly better health status than the workers who had 4 or less than 4 good health habits. Therefore, in order to provide the health promotion programs to workers it is necessary to organize clear health management plans based on effective health education and health service perspective. If further research examines health habits and health status using a prospective study design, More precise findings for health promotion program development in the worksite and worksite health management planning.
The purpose of this study is to determine the clinical nurses' knowledge of DM and diabetes patient education aptitude so as to provide a basis for clinical nurse training with respect to diabetes patient education program. The data has been collected through the questionnaires of 42 items from the Knowledge on DM and each 16 item from the Importance on the elements of diabetes patient and the Recognition for clinical nurses, respectfully. 166 nurses from a general hospital who had participated in clinical nurse training in Sep. 28 and Oct. 4, 2001 were subject to respond the questionnaires. Analysis has been done by using statistical method such as percentage, average, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan test and Pearson correlation coefficients. The findings are as follows: 1. Clinical nurses' knowledge levels of diabetes 1) The average level of nurses' knowledge about diabetes is 29.37 (right answer- finding rate: 70%), which is intermediate. 2) Amongst the nurses classified by their knowledge levels about diabetes, the group with less than one year career and that with more than 5 year careers are found to have higher knowledge levels. The item with the highest right answer-finding rate was 'Please find the wrong out of the following examples about foot care'. Meanwhile, the item with highest incorrect answer-finding rate was 'what does blood sugar control aims for amongst gestational diabetes?'. 2. Clinical nurses' importance and perception levels of educational training about diabetes 1) There were no differences amongst nurses' importance level about diabetes. 2) Nurses usually had high scores(4.30) in terms of the items related to the importances about educational training. 3) There were quite high recognitions of general characteristics and symptoms about diabetes, amongst the nurse cohorts working more than one year and less than 5 years, and over 5 years, the group belonging to the internal department, that having the previous experiences of dealing with diabetes, and that having their diabetic relatives and other close people. Meanwhile, strangely, the group who identified themselves as 'not good at treating diabetes' had a high recognition level of educational training about diabetes. 3. Relationship between knowledge levels and importance & perception levels of diabetes 1) The higher knowledge about diabetes nurses had, the more importance they recognized. 2) It is found that there was no relationship between knowledge and perception of diabetes. 3) The more importance about diabetes nurses had, the higher perception they obtained. In conclusion, there is an urgent need for systematic educational programs about diabetes including technical aspects, in order to upgrade and improve nurses knowledge levels. In addition, re-educational training should be provided at regular intervals. Further, we believe the nurses with high knowledge about diabetes and interests in the provision of educations for patients can be far more confident, and in return, patients can have better self-management about diabetes obtained through educations. Based on the above-mentioned findings, we would like to make the suggestion: re-evaluation about nurses' knowledge and cognition levels should be carried out after job training programs about diabetes.
The purpose of this study is to investigate thel present situation and to analyze the needs and problems of the $\ulcorner$Environment$\lrcorner$ subject in secondary school of the current 6th curriculum in Korea and to indicate the directions of improvement environmental education. The first step of this research was to review the related literature and the result indicated that the number of secondary schools that selected $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ subject and the teachers who have $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ certification of a second-major has increased yearly but it shows much difference by regions. The second step was questionnaire surveys on 60 $\ulcorner$Environment$\lrcorner$ teachers in secondary school. According to the survey, 65% of teachers are not certificated and 50% of teachers have no self-confidence of teaching. And most of teachers thought it was difficult to select the modules out of textbook and teachers had difficulties such as the lack of appropriate reference materials and instructive experience of their own instructive experience of active researches. The third step was the questionnaire survey on a students group(606) learning the $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ subject and a students group(621) without the $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ subject in secondary school. The group learning $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ subject showed significantly higher scores than those of the group without $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ subject in most items. And among the students having $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ subject, the first year students achieved the highest score, and it revealed that the teaching was most effective to them. The suggestions based on the results of this study are as follows. First, the uncertifiable teachers currently teaching $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ subject should be given priority to the second-major certificate training program ; which are diverse in contents according to differences of majors and levels. Second, specific and practical re-training programs for the certificated teachers teaching the subject are needed. Third, considerable and continual adjustment of the textbook yearly is required in addition to regular curriculum amendment. Fourth, the more efficient and actual teaching.learning methods of $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ subject education that can attract students' interest must be developed. Fifth, it is most desirable to have first year students select the subject.
This study was performed to investigate dietary behaviors and consumption of health food in cancer patients. The subjects were 163 cancer patients recruited from the general hospital in Seoul, Korea. The data were obtained by the structured self administered questionnaire. The mean age of subjects was 51 years. Most of subjects didn't eat the visual fat of meat and chicken skin. The mealtime of the subjects was generally regular and most of subjects had breakfast. The subjects of this survey liked to eat foods with sweet taste but disliked to eat hot, salty and sour taste ones. The preference for fish, marine products and vegetables was high but that for instant foods and frying foods was very low. Most of subjects consumed the foods that is generally known as anticancer foods such as vegetables and fruits. On the other hand, most of subjects didn't intake butter, margarine, and frying foods that is known as risk factors of cancer. The majority of subjects$(84.7\%)$ consumed the health food The main reasons for taking health foods by subjects were to cure disease$(58.0\%)$, to prevent disease$(45.3\%)$, to supply nutrients$(39.3\%)$, to maintain the mental state$(12.7\%)$ and to recover fatigue$(10.7\%)$. Majority of subjects$(66.0\%)$ spent money more than 200,000 won/month to buy health foods. The purchasing channels of health foods by subjects were recommendation by family or friend$(64.0\%)$, by physician/pharmacist$(18.0\%)$ and by nutritionist or dietician(6.0), and advertisement through TV or radio$(12.0\%)$. The types of taking health foods of the subjects were vegetable extracted food$(60.0\%)$, mushrooms$(51.3\%)$, Lactobacillus food$(25.3\%)$, enzyme food$(22.6\%)$ calcium containing food$(20.0\%)$ and so on. The results of the current study show that although many cancer patients already practice healthy dietary behaviors, there is a substantial proportion who do not and most of cancer patients consume health foods.' Further intervention is needed to explore the effect of health foods in cancer patients
본 연구는 남자 고등학생들의 구강건강신념에 따른 구강건강실천정도를 파악하여 구강건강에 대한 지식과 행동양식의 변화를 유도함으로써 바람직한 구강건강신념을 바탕으로 구강건강을 실천할 수 있도록 하는 정보를 제공하고자 2010년 5월 20일부터 6월 20일까지 전라북도에 위치한 3개의 고등학교 남학생 1, 2학년을 대상으로 편의표본추출법에 의한 자기기입식으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. SPSS 12.0 프로그램을 이용하여 수집된 자료의 통계분석을 실시한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 구강건강신념정도는 '치과질환이 발생한 경우 치과치료를 빨리 받아야 한다고 생각한다'가 4.44점으로 가장 높았고, '치과치료에 대하여 다른 사람과 이야기 하는 시간이 많다'가 2.73점으로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 2. 일반적인 특성에 따른 구강건강신념에서 종교와 치과방문경험이 있는 경우가 없는 경우보다 구강건강신념이 높은 것으로 나타났다(p<0.05). 구강건강실천에서는 학년이 높을수록(p<0.01), 종교가 있는 경우가 없는 경우 보다 구강건강실천정도가 높은 것으로 나타났다(p<0.001). 3. 구강건강신념에 따른 구강건강실천정도에서 잇솔질이 3.65점으로 가장 높게 나타났으며, '잇솔질', '구강위생용품', '정기적인 방문', '식이조절', '교육 및 관심' 모두 구강건강신념이 높은 집단이 낮은 집단 보다 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<0.05, p<0.001). 이상의 연구결과를 보면 구강건강신념과 구강건강실천은 상호 유의한 관련성이 있다고 볼수 있으므로, 본인의 구강건강을 스스로 책임지는 시기인 고등학생의 바람직한 구강건강신념과 구강건강실천향상을 위해 지속적이고 체계적인 학교구강보건교육 프로그램의 활성화가 이루어져야 할 것이다.
The maternal and child health is a basis of national health, and indicates the level of social welfare and health of the country, because it is related with community welfare status, general cultural conditions, and medical and health sciences. This is a study carried out to identify the present practices of maternal and child health care programs implemented by the private clinics located in Guns(counties ; rural area) in Kyungsangnam Province and to propose alternatives to improve their current programs through a self-administrative questionnaire. The subjects were 90 private physicians who operated their own clinics since 1990 and were general practitioners, Obstertrician/Gynecologists or pediatricians: This survey was conducted by mail from 15 January to 25 February 1992. The response rate was 94.4 percent. 1) The major manpower for MCH programs of the studied clinics was physicians and nurseaids. 70.3% of physicians were general practitioners, 81.1% of nursing manpower were nurseaids. 31.1% of the studied clinics employed lab-technicians. 89.2% of them had MCH room whatever the size and the setting, and 84.4% of Ob/Gyn clinics installed laboratory equipments. 2) 55.4% and 63.5% of the studied clinics provided 151 or above consulting services and curative services of MCH per physician a month respectively and 33.8% and 25.7% of them provided 10 or less consulting services and curative services per physician a month. 91.9% of lab-technicians had 10 or less laboratory tests per technician a month. 3) There was a difference between Ob/Gyn and pediatric clinics in terms of services delivered : for example, 80% of Ob/Gyn clinics provided pre- and post- natal care services, while 84.6% of pediatric clinics provided vaccinations for children. It was also found that only a few of general practitioners involved pre-and post- natal care services. 4) There were no clinics which had opened regular health education session but 24.3% of them had opened the sessions irregularly. Ob/Gyn clinics put emphasis on maternity and pediatric clinics did on child health, but general practitioners touched with both maternal and child health. 21.6% of the studied clinics had some kind of educational materials for MCH programs. Most of the materials were pamphlets or small booklets. 5) Proteinuria/glucosuria, blood pressure and blood type were tested in 48.6~69% of the studied clinics ; tests for blood sugar and hepatitis B were provided in 39.2~41.9% of them, most of them were done in Ob/Gyn clinics. 6) 41.9% of physicians, 29.7% of nurses and 45.9% of nurses-aids wanted to receive on-job-training for MCH programs.
Survey of mastitis management and incidence of mastitis in the Gyeongnam was started in May to September 2009 to solve mastitis problem statistically valid data for use in estimating mastitis management, isolation and antimicrobial drug susceptibility in 30 dairy farms having over 350,000/ml somatic cell count. In investigation on recognition of farmer about bovine mastitis, the ratio of understanding of differences between infectious and environmental origin, understanding of correlation between superbacteria and using indiscriminate, necessity of pathogen identification, and necessity of antimicrobial sensitivity tests were 80.0%, 73.3%, 33.3%, and 53.3%, respectively. In survey of mastitis management type, regular california mastitis test (CMT), conducting CMT test and empirical self-treatment, when detecting suspected cows, were 30.0%, 40.0%, and 46.7%, respectively. Checking and cleaning pulsators biweekly, cleaning vacuum system and replacing liners every 3~6 month, and getting milking system checked by engineers showed 80.0%, 76.7%, and 76.7% in the questionnaires, respectively. In recognition of farmer about milking hygiene for prevention of bovine mastitis, using individual towels, separated milking (milking order of cows), and teat-dipping disinfection after milking exhibited 13.3%, 86.7%, and 93.3%, respectively. In conclusion, through the questionnaires and laboratory test, we suggest that recognition of farmer about management and incidence of mastitis was very low, thus systemic educational program and public relations about mastitis management were need for dairy farmers.
본 연구에서는 과학 수업의 정리 단계에서 글쓰기를 강조한 수업이 학생들의 과학 관련 태도, 학습 동기 및 학업 성취도에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 경기도 소재 중학교 1개교의 2학년 학생 127명을 연구 대상으로 총 30차시에 걸쳐 수업을 진행하였다. 수업 정리 단계에서 실험반은 학습 목표와 연관된 과학 개념을 글쓰기로 정리하였고, 비교반은 문제 풀이로 정리하였다. 학생들의 과학 관련 태도는 TOSRA를 수정 보완한 과학 관련 태도 검사지, 과학 학습 동기는 PALS와 MSLQ를 수정 보완한 과학 학습 동기 검사지, 학업 성취도는 학교의 지필 평가를 이용하여 측정하였다. 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 과학 관련 태도 검사 결과, 과학 글쓰기 수업은 학생들의 전체적인 과학적 태도 함양에 유의미한 효과가 있었다(p<.05). 특히, 하위 영역에서는 학생들의 '과학 탐구에 대한 태도'와 '과학 수업의 즐거움', ' 과학에 대한 적극성'에 유의미한 효과가 있었다(p<.05). 둘째, 과학 학습 동기 검사 결과, 과학 글쓰기 수업은 학생들의 전체적인 학습 동기를 유의미하게 향상시켰으며(p<.05), 하위 영역에서는 '과제에 대한 가치'와 '자기 효능감'에 효과가 있었다. 셋째, 과학 글쓰기를 활용한 수업은 학생들의 학업 성취도 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다(p<.05). 특히 상위 수준의 학업 성취도 집단에 더 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

거쳐 즉시 처리하여야 합니다. 다만, 즉시 처리가 곤란한 경우는 회원에게 그 사유와 처리일정을 통보하여야
합니다.
제 11 조 (회원의 의무)
① 이용자는 회원가입 신청 또는 회원정보 변경 시 실명으로 모든 사항을 사실에 근거하여 작성하여야 하며,
허위 또는 타인의 정보를 등록할 경우 일체의 권리를 주장할 수 없습니다.
② 당 사이트가 관계법령 및 개인정보 보호정책에 의거하여 그 책임을 지는 경우를 제외하고 회원에게 부여된
ID의 비밀번호 관리소홀, 부정사용에 의하여 발생하는 모든 결과에 대한 책임은 회원에게 있습니다.
③ 회원은 당 사이트 및 제 3자의 지적 재산권을 침해해서는 안 됩니다.
제 4 장 서비스의 이용
제 12 조 (서비스 이용 시간)
① 서비스 이용은 당 사이트의 업무상 또는 기술상 특별한 지장이 없는 한 연중무휴, 1일 24시간 운영을
원칙으로 합니다. 단, 당 사이트는 시스템 정기점검, 증설 및 교체를 위해 당 사이트가 정한 날이나 시간에

① NDSL에서 제공하는 모든 저작물의 저작권은 원저작자에게 있으며, KISTI는 복제/배포/전송권을 확보하고
있습니다.
② NDSL에서 제공하는 콘텐츠를 상업적 및 기타 영리목적으로 복제/배포/전송할 경우 사전에 KISTI의 허락을
받아야 합니다.
③ NDSL에서 제공하는 콘텐츠를 보도, 비평, 교육, 연구 등을 위하여 정당한 범위 안에서 공정한 관행에
합치되게 인용할 수 있습니다.
④ NDSL에서 제공하는 콘텐츠를 무단 복제, 전송, 배포 기타 저작권법에 위반되는 방법으로 이용할 경우
저작권법 제136조에 따라 5년 이하의 징역 또는 5천만 원 이하의 벌금에 처해질 수 있습니다.
제 14 조 (유료서비스)
① 당 사이트 및 협력기관이 정한 유료서비스(원문복사 등)는 별도로 정해진 바에 따르며, 변경사항은 시행 전에
당 사이트 홈페이지를 통하여 회원에게 공지합니다.
② 유료서비스를 이용하려는 회원은 정해진 요금체계에 따라 요금을 납부해야 합니다.
제 5 장 계약 해지 및 이용 제한
제 15 조 (계약 해지)
회원이 이용계약을 해지하고자 하는 때에는 [가입해지] 메뉴를 이용해 직접 해지해야 합니다.
제 16 조 (서비스 이용제한)
① 당 사이트는 회원이 서비스 이용내용에 있어서 본 약관 제 11조 내용을 위반하거나, 다음 각 호에 해당하는
경우 서비스 이용을 제한할 수 있습니다.
- 2년 이상 서비스를 이용한 적이 없는 경우
- 기타 정상적인 서비스 운영에 방해가 될 경우
② 상기 이용제한 규정에 따라 서비스를 이용하는 회원에게 서비스 이용에 대하여 별도 공지 없이 서비스 이용의
일시정지, 이용계약 해지 할 수 있습니다.
제 17 조 (전자우편주소 수집 금지)
회원은 전자우편주소 추출기 등을 이용하여 전자우편주소를 수집 또는 제3자에게 제공할 수 없습니다.
제 6 장 손해배상 및 기타사항
제 18 조 (손해배상)
당 사이트는 무료로 제공되는 서비스와 관련하여 회원에게 어떠한 손해가 발생하더라도 당 사이트가 고의 또는 과실로 인한 손해발생을 제외하고는 이에 대하여 책임을 부담하지 아니합니다.
제 19 조 (관할 법원)
서비스 이용으로 발생한 분쟁에 대해 소송이 제기되는 경우 민사 소송법상의 관할 법원에 제기합니다.
[부 칙]
1. (시행일) 이 약관은 2016년 9월 5일부터 적용되며, 종전 약관은 본 약관으로 대체되며, 개정된 약관의 적용일 이전 가입자도 개정된 약관의 적용을 받습니다.
