Catalytic Activity of DNA-Pt Complex

  • DNA has not been played the role as a biocatalyst in evolutionary history, although RNA and protein function as a biocatalyst. DNA double helix structure is believed to be impossible to form intricate active enzymatic sites. In addition, the chemical stability of DNA prevents the ability from self-modifying reactions. However, recent development of DNA engineering enables to create artificial enzymatic ability of DNA (deoxyribozyme) such as RNA cleavage and DNA modification. We investigated optimal conditions for enzymatic activity of DNA-Pt complex, and compared it with that of horse radish peroxidase. We report here that base sequence of DNA, pH and temperature affect the enzymatic activity of DNA-Pt complex.

  • Performance appraisal system is to evaluate employee' work performance, work ability and work attitude. It becomes a important foundation of personnel management. This system's goal is to accomplish employee ability development. The purpose of this study is to make some contributions in order to efficient performance appraisal system of hotels by analyzing the problems of current performance appraisal system. The suggestions for efficient performance appraisal system are as follows: 1. Performance appraisal by job analysis. 2. Though evaluators' training for objective assessment. 3. The assistance system of appraisal results for employees. 4. Magnifying use of appraisal results. 5. Object management strategy by using self-rating.

고등학생의 휴대전화 중독이 의사소통 기술과 대인관계 능력에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Cell Phone Addiction on Communication Skills and Interpersonal Relationship Ability of Adolescents)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of cell phone addiction on communication skills and the interpersonal relationship ability of adolescents. Methods: The researcher recruited 751 high school students to assess their general characteristics, communication skills, cell phone addiction and interpersonal relationship ability. Data were collected from June 30 to July 14 in 2014 using copies of a structured self report questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and linear multiple regression using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 IBM program. Results: Of the students, 3.5% reported they were addicted users, and 7.6% reported they were heavy users. Results from multiple regression analysis showed that cell phone addiction did not have any influence on communication skills of the adolescents. However, cell phone addiction mostly affected the interpersonal relationship ability of the adolescents (${\beta}=.24$, p<.001). Poor school performance (${\beta}=.17$, p<.001) and low socioeconomic status (${\beta}=.12$, p<.05) were also related to the interpersonal skills of the adolescents. These variables explained 8.3% of the variance in the interpersonal skills of the adolescents. Conclusion: These results suggest that cell phone addiction has a negative influence on the development of the interpersonal relationship ability of adolescents. The findings of this study are expected to provide basic data about the influence of cell phone addiction on the interpersonal relationship ability of adolescents. Therefore, cell phone addiction treatment programs for adolescents need to include contents related to interpersonal relationship ability.

일부지역 치과위생사의 심폐소생술에 관한 영향요인 분석 (Analysis of factors affecting the implementation of CPR by dental hygienists in certain regions)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the knowledge of dental hygienists on CPR, their CPR attitude and performance ability in an effort to offer data that can contribute to the development of a more effective CPR education program. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 234 dental hygienists in Jeollanam and Jeollabukdo from February 24 to May 20, 2017. The questionnaire asked dental hygienists of the knowledge, attitude, performance ability in regards to CPR. The data were analyzed using SPSS Window ver. 19.0 program through independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, chi-square test and multiple regression analysis. The Cronbach alpha of their CPR knowledge was 0.78, and that of attitude to CPR was 0.79. The Cronbach alpha of CPR performance ability was 0.96. Results: The dental hygienists surveyed in this study who were aware of CPR accounted for 88.9% of total subjects. Dental hygienists who were certified in CPR accounted for 20.5% of total subjects. They received a score of 7.66 on CPR knowledge, 3.33 on attitude and 2.61 on performance ability. There was a positive correlation between the knowledge and attitude, between the knowledge and performance ability and between the attitude and performance ability (r=0.332, r=0.461, r=0.426). A regression analysis showed that the dental hygienists who were younger, who graduated from a four-year university or a higher educational institution, who were CPR certificate holders, who received more CPR education, who were cognizant of automated external defibrillator, who were more knowledgeable on CPR and who took a more positive attitude were more likely to be affected in terms of CPR performance. Conclusions: The dental hygienists surveyed were aware of CPR on the whole, but their CPR knowledge, attitude and performance were not sufficient to perform CPR in emergency situations. More intensive education should be provided for dental hygienists to have an accurate knowledge of CPR to carry it out with a positive attitude.

  • 최근 시각디자인 전공은 많은 국가에서 생산적 가치를 창출하는 신흥 산업으로 부상하고 있으며 시각디자인 교사는 디자이너의 발전과 디자인 산업의 트렌드에도 영향을 미치는 핵심 요소가 되고 있다. 시각디자인 전공 교사들의 역할이 중요해졌다. 본 연구는 대학의 시각디자인 전공 교사를 연구대상으로 하며 그들의 직무를 수행할 때 갖춰야 할 역량의 구성 모델을 연구하고자 한다. 우선 문서 분류를 통해 지식 능력, 교학 능력, 실무능력, 관리능력, 직업윤리인 5가지 역량군을 기반으로 한다. 시각디자인 업계 전문가 10명과의 인터뷰와 2회의 델파이 방식 인터뷰를 통해 시각디자인 교사의 역량을 평가하기 위한 설문지를 개발하도록 한다.

청소년의 인터넷 과다 사용에 영향을 미치는 변인 - 청소년의 성, 학교, 계열별 분석 - (The Variables Affecting the Internet Overuse of Adolescents - An Analysis by Gender, School Grades and School Systems -)

  • 본 연구에서는 성별, 학교급별, 계열별로 청소년의 인터넷 과다 사용에 영향을 미치는 개인, 부모 및 가족관련 변인을 파악하였다. 창원시 소재 청소년들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 총 480부가 분석에 사용되었다. 자료분석 방법으로는 중다회귀 분석을 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 남학생 집단은 채팅과 온라인 게임을 많이 할수록, 자기통제력이 적을수록, 스트레스를 많이 받을수록 인터넷 사용이 많았고, 여학생 집단은 온라인 게임과 음란물 또는 성인관련 사이트를 많이 접할수록 인터넷 사용이 많았다. 2 중학생 집단은 온라인 게임과 프로그램 및 MP3파일 다운로드를 많이 할수록, 자가통제력과 부모의 규칙설정이 적을수록 인터넷 사용이 많았고, 고등학생 집단은 전자우편을 적게 사용할수록, 온라인 게임과 동호회/클럽활동을 많이 할수록, 자기통제력이 적을수록, 부의 인터넷 사용능력이 높을수록, 부모의 감독통제가 많을수록 인터넷 사용이 많았다. 3 인문계 고등학생 집단은 친한 친구 수가 적을수록, 전자우편을 적게 사용할수록, 온라인 게임과 동호회/클럽활동을 많이 할수록, 음란물 또는 성인관련 사이트를 많이 접할수록, 자기통제력과 모의 인터넷 사용능력이 적을수록 인터넷 사용이 많았고, 실업계 고등학생 집단은 학교성적이 높을수록, 온라인 게임을 많이 할수록, 자기통제력이 적을수록, 스트레스를 많이 받을수록, 부의 인터넷 사용능력과 부모의 감독통제가 높을수록 인터넷 사용이 많아지는 것으로 나타났다.

대학생의 진로준비프로그램이 셀프리더십, 진로자기통제위에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Career Preparation Program on Self-Leadership and Career Locus of control among University Students in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 진로지도준비교육이 대학생의 셀프리더십과 진로내외통제위에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위하여 수행되었다. 목표를 성취하기 위하여 스스로를 통제하고 이끌어 가는 능력인 셀프리더십과 진로 및 취업결과에 대해 가족 및 환경 등 외부의 탓으로 여기거나 스스로 역량이나 준비 등 자신의 능력 등 내부의 탓으로 생각하는 진로내외통제위는 취업에 대한 중요한 변수로 알려져 있다. 연구에 대한 목적과 참여방법을 설명하고 이에 동의한 대학생 58명을 대상으로 15주간 진로준비 프로그램을 제공하였고, 자료수집은 2016년 3월부터 6월까지 D시에 위치한 H대학교에서 수행되었다. 진로준비프로그램은 취업 준비에 대한 구체적인 내용뿐만 아니라 구직을 준비하는 학생 스스로 자신에 대한 이해를 높이도록 자기탐색 및 자기주도 기반으로 구성되었다. 프로그램의 사전과 사후 시점에서 셀프리더십과 진로자기통제위가 측정되었고 SPSS 21.0으로 분석되었다. 연구결과, 자기탐색과 자기주도기반의 진로준비프로그램은 학생들의 셀프리더십을 높였고(t=-4.45, p=. 00), 진로내외통제위 중 특히 내적통제위를 높이는 것으로 확인되었다(t=-3.26, p=. 00). 따라서 본 연구결과 추후 자기탐색을 기반으로 하는 진로지도 프로그램을 대학생의 진로준비에 적극적으로 적용 할 것을 제안한다.

청소년이 지각한 아버지의 역할수행과 자아존감에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Perceived Father’s Role Performances and Self-Esteem of Adolescents)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the state of father’s role performance and self-esteem of adolescents, to investigate the relation between the father’s role performances recognized by adolescents and the self-esteem of adolescents, and to present the basic data for showing the importance of father’s role in increasing the adolescents’self-esteem. The subject of this survey was 795 male and female students of the second grade in Kwangju middle and high schools. The questionnaire was used for this study as a means of measuring. The results of this study were as follows:1. The degrees of father’s role performances were considered ‘82.19 points’out of 125 by adolescents but rather high by the female students, it didn’t have any significant difference between the male students and female. 2. The degrees of adolescents’ self-esteem were ‘51.17 points’out of 85 on the whole. But specifically, the degrees of adolescents’self-esteem of the male students were higher than those of the female students. This self-esteem of adolescents caused significant differences in the right to the decision-making and the father’s occupation only. 3. The influence of father’s role performances on the adolescents’self-esteem was found very high, and more influence were showed by the female students than by the male students. 4. The order in the effective poser of variables on the adolescents’self-esteem was as following; the role in command and harmony, the sex, the economic role, the role in intellectual ability development. In conclusion, father’s role performance were found to be important variables on the conform adolescents’self-esteem.

중등학교 컴퓨터 교과에 대한 자기 주도적 학습 시스템의 개발 (Development of a Self Directed Learning System for the Course 'Computer' in Middle and High Schools)

  • 본 논문에서는 최근 학교 교육에서 강조되고 있는 자기 주도적 학습력 신장을 위하여 현행 중등학교 컴퓨터 교과 내용의 문제점은 무엇인지 분석하고, 이러한 분석에 기초하여 자기 주도적 학습력을 신장시키기 위한 컴퓨터 교육 내용을 구체적으로 어떻게 구성되어야 하는지에 대하여 모색하고 자기 주도적 교수-학습 원리에 근거한 웹 컨텐츠를 개발하였다. 이렇게 개발된 웹 컨텐츠를 학습자는 자신의 흥미와 적성에 따라 학습내용을 선정할 수 있고, 스스로 학습목표를 설정하여 학습을 진행해 갈 수 있도록 하였으며 그에 따라 교수자는 학습자에게 학습 과제를 제시함으로써 학습에 대한 참여도를 높일 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 게시판과 Q&A를 통하여 교사나 학생들이 상호 의사교환을 통한 교수-학습 활동을 활발히 진행해 나갈 수 있도록 하였다.

An Experimental Study for Analysis of the Self-Burial of Pipelines with Spoilers in Current

  • This experimental study deals with the mechanism of spoilers that cause scouring around pipelines. The design methodology was applied to spoilers for accelerating pipelines that undergo self-burial into the sand-bed and evaluated using approaching experimental analysis. The experimental study was conducted to investigate the self-burial ability of submarine pipelines with two types of sand-bed models: silt and sand. Spoilers of different heights were attached to the top of the pipeline for each experiment case. The relationship between the relative scour depth and spoiler height was evaluated by applying different flow velocities and sand diameters and comparative analysis was performed with values obtained from similarity experiments and theory. The experimental study will be useful in establishing a database for the design of spoilers.
