  • The existing PKI authentication structure uses the OCSP method. The primary task of OCSP is to verify the status of a transaction after verifying the validity of the certificate; but, because of continuing policy changes and updates within the PKI authentication method, the status of certificates and the structures are not consistent. Therefore, the SCVP method can be selected as the broadest method for completing authentication tasks accurately because the SCVP method includes validation of policy changes. An appropriate method for building an mobile environment within the capabilities of low-memory and reduced processing CPU needs to be assessed and developed. This thesis proposes a verification method that is independent of platform and applicable to any 05 in building and expanding the mobile environment.

  • KEPCO is now promoting the new project of upgrading its highest system voltage from 345kV to 765kV. The main reason of this project is an insurance of bulk power transmission from power complexes at coast to power demand center at Kyoung-In area. The new system needs a careful approach to basic design to secure its reliability and to reduce the increase of investment cost. So, We introduced the basic philosophy of insulation design in spring meeting of this transaction. This paper, after preceding paper, deals with the insulation design example for 765kV transmission lines.

  • 전자상거래 일반적인 구조인 SET(Secure Electronic Transaction)프로토콜은 비밀키 알고리즘의 DES(Data Encryption Standard), 공개키 알고리즘의 RSA(Rivest, Shamir, Adleman), 메시지 다이제스트의 SHA-1를 사용하고 있다.

  • As blockchain technology develops, encryption for blockchain blocks is also becoming more important. Encryption in the blockchain is used to secure the identity of the person who created the transaction and to prevent manipulation of information in the past block. However, increasing the security of encryption decreases the speed of block creation, one of the biggest drawbacks of the blockchain. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a method to minimize the performance of the current OTP and the degradation of the blockchain by comparing the status and performance of OTP used in the blockchain.

  • Compact E-cash is the first scheme which can withdraw 2l coins within 𝒪(1) operations and then store them in 𝒪(𝑙) bits. Because of its high efficiency, a lot of research has been carried out on its basis, but no previous research pay attention to the privacy of payees and in some cases, payees have the same privacy requirement as payers. We propose a double-blind compact E-cash scheme, which means that both the payer and the payee can keep anonymous while spending. In our scheme, the payer and the bank cannot determine whether the payees of two different transactions are the same one and connect the payee with transactions related to him, in this way, the privacy of the payee is protected. And our protocols disconnect the received coin from previous transaction, then, the coin can be transferred into an unspent coin which belongs to the payee. The proposed e-cash scheme is secure within y-DDHI and LRSW assumption.

  • The proliferation of the Internet and related technologies has led to a new form of distribution channels, namely online retailers. The conventional offline and the new online retailers have different transaction costs perceived by the consumers in the following perspectives: the accessibility to the product information, the traffic cost and the opportunity cost for the time to visit the store, the delivery time and the possibility of 'touch and feel' to test the quality of the product. In particular, the online retailers have lower distribution cost structure in that they do not have physical stores, which results in lower selling price. Thus they continuously offer price competition against offline retailers using the lower selling cost as competitive weapon. Moreover the emergence of the social commerce is likely to intensify the competition between the online and offline retailers. To survive in this fierce competition, the offline retailers are trying to defend their business interests by sticking to offline transaction in anticipation of increased customer loyalty, customer's preference for 'touch and feel' style shopping, and others. Despite of these efforts, customers who touch and feel a product in an offline store but purchase the product through an online retailer are increasing. To protect such customers, recently, some of the offline retailers began to provide the mobile discount service (MDS) which enables the offline customers to purchase a product at a discounted price through the mobile applications. In business competitions, the price discount strategy is usually considered to secure more market share at the cost of lower profit. In this study, however, we analyze the effect of MDS as a weapon for securing more profit. To do this, we set up a game model between the online and offline retailers which incorporates the effect of the MDS. By numerically analyzing the Nash equilibrium of the game, some managerial implications for using the MDS for more profit are discussed.

  • Blockchain is a technology that secures integrity and transparency by distributing and storing transaction details within multiple node networks. Recently, research is being conducted to secure integrity by applying blockchain to Bill of Lading (B/L documents) of monetary value. In this paper, we study a blockchain-based bill of lading system to improve usability. The shippers register the issued bill of lading on the blockchain, and banks in each country read it to conduct L/C transactions. The consignees receive the goods after completing certification with a quick response code (QR) containing the bill of lading information. Through this, shippers enjoy merits in that they can shorten the time and cost of sending shipping documents by mail and prove the integrity of the documents. The consignees have the advantage of being able to check the documents at the same time as they are registered and trust the transaction. Finally, on the bank side, the security of shipping documents is ensured and verification can be done quickly.

  • The development of an industry including distribution sector is influenced by not only government policy but the related firms' behaviors. Recently the large-scale retailers have had more enormous channel power than any other distributors including monopolistic makers. Now is the time for government to prepare some policies against the unfair transaction behaviors by large-scale retailers. In this paper I tried to inquire into the distribution competition policy from a political correspondent point of view related with the transition of distribution system. For the purpose of this article I compared the case of Korea with Japan. According to the results so far inquired, there are some commons and differences in the cases of the two. Some suggestions are as follows. Considering the predominant position the concept of large-scale retailers is to be extended from a single store to numerous chain stores in the political level. Government needs to examine the standard propriety for large-scale retailer; the size of selling area and amount of sales a year. When a large-scale retailer store is to be established, it need to be taken a permit or a pre-inspection. The Fair Trade Commission have to secure the neutrality from Government's strategies. And government should find out the examples of unfair transaction behavior types and prepare some proper guidelines continually. For the last time statistical data by distributors are to be fitted out and the actual investigations for estimating the effects of government policies need to be enforced.
