안전한 블록체인 기반 서비스를 위한 개인키 관리 가이드라인 (A Private Key Management Guideline For Secure Blockchain-Based Services)

  • 블록체인 기반 탈중앙 서비스는 참여자들의 합의에 기반하여 시스템을 운영함으로써 중앙화된 서버 없이도 신뢰 할 수 있는 서비스를 사용자에게 제공할 수 있다. 참여자들은 디지털서명 메커니즘을 사용하여 블록체인과 상호작용 할 수 있지만 개인키 관리와 관련된 이슈는 여전히 해결되지 않는 문제로 남아있다. NIST SP800-57 암호키 관리 권고안 등에서는 사용자의 개인키 관리에 관한 내용을 기술하고 있지만, 이는 탈중앙 서비스 환경을 고려하지 않았기에 블록체인 환경에 적용하기에는 적절하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 개인키 관리와 관련된 지갑 애플리케이션의 기능을 정의하고 NIST SP800-57을 반영한 블록체인 개인키 관리 방안과 이를 만족하기 위한 관련 기술을 제시한다. 마지막으로 논문에서 정의한 내용을 바탕으로 퍼블릭 블록체인에서 일반 사용자를 대상으로 하는 개인키 관리 가이드라인을 제안한다.

  • 본 논문은 웹 서버에 저장되어 있는 로그관리 시스템을 이용하여 방문자들의 방문 기록을 관리하는 로그관리 시스템을 구현하였는데 첫째, 사용자 로그인 표시에 사용자 정보와 패스워드를 입력하고 서버에 접속하여 사용자를 확인하는 절차를 적용하였다. 둘째, 개인 정보보호 같은 취약점을 보완하기 위하여 클라이언트의 웹 브라우저에 포함된 로그관리시스템을 사용함으로써 서버와 안전한 사용자 로그인을 위한 채널을 생성하도록 하였다. 셋째, 사이트 접속 에러 분석시 웹사이트 관리할 때 방문자들이 불편함을 느끼지 않고 사이트에서 필요한 정보를 빠르고 쉽게 찾을 수 있도록 제공해 주고 허가된 비인가자의 접근 체크 기능을 부여하였다.

  • In order to promote economic cooperation and future reunification in Korean peninsula, this study is conducted to initiate a reconnecting plan for north and south Korean railways. When practical works to interconnect two counties' railway systems begin, the differences of railway systems such as rail track, railway facilities, communication systems, electrical power systems would be emerged as barrier. In this paper, to solve this problems, plan for the secure system-operational technology is presented. It also could be used for shaping the national transport network and constructing railway operating systems.

  • 근래에 허가되지 않은 사용자로부터 공유된 자원에 대한 불법적인 접근이 빈번하게 이루어지고 있다. 접근 제어는 허가되지 않은 사용자가 컴퓨터 자원, 정보 자원 그리고 통신 자원을 이용하지 못하게 제어하는 것이며, 이처럼 허가받지 않은 사용자가 시스템 자원에 접근하는 것을 막는 것은 정보 보호에서 중요한 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 본 논문에서는 접근 제어 정책 중의 하나인 강제적 접근 제어 메커니즘을 대상으로 TCSEC 보안 등급 B2 수준에 근접하는 보호 프로파일을 작성하였다. 본 연구 결과로 작성된 보호 프로 파일은 정보 보호 시스템을 평가하는데 있어서 유용한 자료로 사용될 수 있다.

커널 수준의 침입탐지를 위한 동적 침입탐지 규칙 변경기법의 설계 (Design of Dynamic Intrusion Detection Rule Modification Technique for Kernel Level Intrusion Detection)

  • 본 논문에서는 커널수준의 침입탐지를 위한 동적 침입탐지 규칙 변경 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 침입탐지 규칙은 규칙타입 프로토콜 타입, 패킷 헤더와 패킷 페이로드에 대한 검사를 수행하기 위한 규칙들로 세분화하여 LVR로 표현하고 이들 LVR이 계층적으로 구성된 IDRL로 관리한다. 침입탐지는 IDRL을 이용하여 수행하며, 규칙에 대한 변경은 변경된 규칙에 대한 LVR을 구성하고 LV를 이용한 포인터 변경을 이용하여 IDRL에 반영하는 방법이다. 제안하는 기법은 IDRL을 이용한 침입탐지와 탐지규칙의 변경을 IDRL에 최소한의 비용으로 수행하고, LVR을 이용하여 침입탐지 규칙을 디스크와 메모리에 동일한 형태로 저장 및 관리하여 탐지규칙 초기화 비용과 변경 비용을 최소화할 수 있다. 이를 통하여 보다 안전한 커널 수준에서의 네트워크 보안을 위한 효율적인 동적 침입탐지 규칙 변경을 지원할 수 있다는 장점을 가진다.

스팀터빈 발전기 진동진단 시스템 개발 (Development of a Vibration Diagnostic System for Steam Turbine Generators)

  • Modern steam turbine generators are being built as a higher power and larger system, experiencing more frequent starts and stops of operation due to a constant change of power demands. Hence, they are inevitably more vulnerable to various vibrations, and more often exposed to the danger of sudden vibration accidents than ever before. Even under the circumstances, in order to secure the system reliability of steampower plants and there by to supply safely the public electricity, it is important to prevent a sudden vibration accident in one hand and even when it happens, to raise an operating efficiency of the plants throught swift and precise treatments in the other. In this study, an interactive vibration diagnostic system has been developed to make the on-site vibration diagnosis of steam turbine generators possible and convenient, utilizing a note-book PC. For this purpose, at first the principal vibration phenomena, such as various unbalance and unstable vibrations as well as rubbing, misalignment, and shaft crack vibrations, have been systematically classified as grouped parameters of vibration frequencies, amplitudes, phases, rotating speeds at the time of accident, and operating conditions or condition changes. A new complex vibration diagnostic table has been constructed from the causal relations between the characteristic parameters and the principal vibration phenomena. Then, the diagnostic system has been developed to screen and issue the corresponding vibration phenomena by assigning to each user-selected combination of characteristic parameters a unique characteristic vector and comparing this vector with a diagnostic vector of each vibration phenomenon based on the constructed diagnostic table. Moreover, the diagnostic system has a logic whose diagnosis may be performed successfully by inputing only some of the corresponding characteristic parameters without having to input all the parameters. The developed diagnostic system has been applied to perform the diagnosis of several real cases of steam turbine vibration accidents. And the results have been quite satisfactory.

Recent instrumentation system safety instrumentation and man-machine interface

  • The industrial processes have become complicated on a large scale bacause of improvement of productivity, research of efficiency, and shortage of locations to be suited for foundation of factories. Consequently, the instrumentation and control systems for operating these industrial processes have also been highly improved with the development of mass information means. In order to operate these large-sized and complicated industrial processes safely, the man-machine interface for correspondence between man and machines and the instrumentation system regarding process fault processing are playing an important role increasingly. This paper describes recent instrumentation system in the water purifying plant as an example of these industrial processes, and covers both man-machine interface and process fault processing. The annual water supply quantity and diffusion were 2, 000, 000, 000m$^{3}$ and 25.0% in 1950 inJapan, but they amounted to 12, 000, 000, 000m$^{3}$ and 86.7% in 1974, respectively. The demands of water will increase incessantly, while it becomes gradually difficult to secure water sources. Accordingly, local self-governing bodies such as municipal cooperation, towns, and villages often construct a large-scale water purifying plant at one place in common, as required, without constructing respective plants independently. It is an absolute requirement for the water purifying plant to avoid stopping water supply to fullfil its social responsibility from the viewpoints of its public utility enterprise, and also it has gradually become difficult to secure skilled operators enough to cover such water purifying plants that are additionally provided in various districts. Thus, the importance of the man-machine interface for assuring safety operation of the water purifying plant irrespective of unskillfulness of operators as well as the instrumentation system regarding process fault processing, or, safety instrumentation, is more and more increasing as the water purifying plants are on a large scale.

국내 대학 입학사정관제의 공정성 실태와 확보방안 (The Actual Conditions and Ensuring Fairness of the Admission Officer System)

  • The Admission Officer System is a selecting system that evaluates potential and talent of students in multiple aspects and selects whom each university wants to pick and fits the specific recruitment units. However, the issue about fairness of the system has been discussed continually. This study conducted online survey, using fairness checklist with 31 universities to know how admission officers perceive the fairness of the system and secure that. Also, three times of expert FGI were conducted, too. The result shows there are still many universities that adjustment for deviated evaluation in interview, separation of operating agency, stabilization of the statue of admission officers, analyzation of each evaluator's tendency, and so on are not achieved well. To assure the fairness of the admission officer system, securing validity by clearly defining the concept of fairness is proposed first. Stabilizing the statue of admission officers and continuous education training for them is also proposed to improve their professionality. Furthermore, expansion of education programs about the admission officer system in both quantity and quality is suggested for fairness of the system.

  • As the spreading speed of electric vehicles increases rapidly, those are expected to be able to use them as flexible resources in the power system beyond the concern for the supply of its charging power. Especially when the Renewable Energy sources (RES) which have no intrinsic control capability have replaced the synchronous generators more and more, the power system needs to secure the additional frequency control resources to ensure its stability. However, the feasibility of using electric vehicles as the frequency control resources should be analyzed from the perspective of the power system operation and it requires the existing simulation frameworks for the power system. Therefore, this paper proposes the grid connected modeling of the primary frequency control provided by electric vehicles which can be integrated into the existing power system model. In addition, the proposed model is implemented considering technical performances constrained by the characteristics of the Vehicle-Grid Integration (VGI) system so that the simulation results can be accepted by the power utilities operating the power system conservatively.
