Lunar permanently shadowed regions (PSRs) never see direct sunlight and are illuminated only by secondary illumination - light reflected from nearby topography. The ShadowCam imaging experiment onboard the Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter is acquiring images of these PSRs. We characterize and discuss the nature of secondary illumination for the Shackleton PSR from ShadowCam radiance-calibrated images. We also use modeling to understand the magnitude and direction of the secondary illumination. Results from our analysis highlight the non-homogeneous, dynamic, and complex nature of PSR secondary lighting. Knowledge of the direction of the secondary illumination is crucial for reli-able interpretation of contrasts observed in ShadowCam images. This preliminary analysis of the floor of Shackleton crater from images acquired over multiple secondary illumination conditions does not reveal indications of exposed surface ice, even though temperatures are constantly below 110K.

To promote environmental education of elementary and secondary school in Seoul for a sustainable development, researchers investigated and analysed the current situation of formal and non-formal environmental education in Seoul as well as their major problems. Based on these current situation and problems, the way to improve the environmental education of elementary and secondary school in Seoul was described. The final section deals with specific recommendations to accomplish the improvement of environmental education of elementary and secondary school in Seoul for a sustainable development as follows: 1) Integration of formal and non-formal environmental education system, 2) Establishment and operation of a regional environmental education center for community, 3) International cooperation, and 4) To provide high quality environmental education programs.

In this paper, induced voltages of the secondary conductors of a linear induction motor(LIM) with cage-type secondary are measured and analyzed when the LIM is fed by PWM inverter. The attenuation constant of the induced voltage of the secondary conductors near entry and exit zones of the the travelling magnetic field are determined from the experiment results.

This study searched secondary school students' epistemological views and ontological views about nature and the root causes of such their views. The subjects were 156 secondary school students and data were gathered by the questionnaire developed based on preceding researches. As a result, many secondary school students had epistemological views of unknowable nature. There were various root causes of their epistemological views such as regularity and harmony of nature, predictable and circular natural phenomenon, causation, the relation between human and nature. On the other hand, a lot of secondary school students had ontological view of supernatural nature. Their religious beliefs were very powerful influence their supernatural ontological views. The nature is the object of science and the physical world. Because those views supply science educators basic backgrounds how leaners understand science class, secondary school students' epistemological views and ontological views are precious information. From now on, it is necessary to study relations between students' epistemological views and ontological views and their science class processes.

A ribonucleic acid (RNA) is one of the two types of nucleic acids found in living organisms. An RNA molecule represents a long chain of monomers called nucleotides. The sequence of nucleotides of an RNA molecule constitutes its primary structure, and the pattern of pairing between nucleotides determines the secondary structure of an RNA. Non-coding RNA genes produce transcripts that exert their function without ever producing proteins. Predicting the secondary structure of non-coding RNAs is very important for understanding their functions. We focus on Nussinov's algorithm as useful techniques for predicting RNA secondary structures. We introduce a new traceback matrix and scoring table to improve above algorithm. And the improved algorithm provides better levels of performance than the originals.

A finite volume method (FVM) base on the SIMPLE algorithm as the pressure correction strategy and the traditional staggered mesh is used to investigate steady, fully developed flow of Oldroyd-3-constant fluids through a duct with square cross-section. Both effects of the two viscoelastic material parameters, We and ${\mu}$, on pattern and strength of the secondary flow are investigated. An amusing sixteen vortices pattern of the secondary flow, which has never been reported, is shown in the present work. The reason for the changes of the pattern and strength of the secondary flow is discussed carefully. We found that it is variation of second normal stress difference that causes the changes of the pattern and strength of the secondary flow.

Visual images are important elements of the communication of environment in secondary school environment textbooks, which dominate classroom approaches to teaching and learning. This study was to analysed the perspectives of pedagogical and social-pedagogic of visual images in 'global warming' unit of six different Korean environment textbooks. Analysis makes use of the dimensions pedagogical functions, content specialization, social-pedagogic relationships, and abstraction of the visual codes. The results showed that most of the visual images in school environment textbooks tend to establish social-pedagogic relationships with students. The results of our study have implications for textbook authors and secondary environment teachers. We suggest that future studies may focus on students' and teacher's interpretation of visual images new secondary environment textbooks.

The purpose of the study were to: (1) determine important home management concepts in the secondary home economics education curriculum,(2) identify the educational needs related to home management perceived by secondary school students, and the factors affecting it, (3) use the findings to make recommendations for developing home economics curriculum and teaching home economics in the secondary school. The questionnaires were distributed to the 1,029 secondary school students, lived in seoul, local cities, and rural area. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, T-test one ay ANOVA with scheffe test, and multiple regression analysis. Forty home management concepts were selected based on the related literatures. Stress man-agement, leisure time activities, resource use, making money for adolescents, work simplication methods were the concepts which showed the highest level of educational needs perceived by the students. The educational needs were affected by sex, school level, residence area of the respondents, and other factors related to the perception about home economics such as preference, GPA, etc.

Two types of secondary hardening martensitic steels, 10Co-14Ni and 6Co-5Ni, were produced by vacuum induction melting to investigate the effect of ausforming process on mechanical properties. According to the results of present study, the alloy samples ausformed at low temperature indicated a rather low hardness level in overall aging time despite the refinement of martensite lath width. As the result can closely be related with the presence of primary carbides precipitated within the initial austenite matrix, we confirmed that, in ultrahigh strength secondary hardening martensitic alloy steels, the ausforming process can rather limit the degree of secondary hardening during the subsequent aging treatment.

Objectives : The aim of this study is to review studies that utilized domestic secondary data in Traditional Korean Medicine (TKM). Methods : We identified variables and values related to TKM of 24 secondary data sources, and searched studies from 6 databases (PubMed, RISS, KISS, NDSL, KMBASE, OASIS). Results : There were 13 secondary data sources including variables and values related TKM, and 23 articles were included in this study. Conclusions : It is necessary to develop high-quality secondary data sources that are suitable to TKM system in accordance with national policy.
