새로운 임계값을 이용한 분산 너비우선탐색 트리(Distributed Breadth-First Search Tree)의 구성 에 관한 알고리즘 (An Algorithm for Construction of Distribution Breadth-First Search Tree Using New Threshold Values)

  • 분산 너버우전탐색 트리구성에서 통신복잡성은 몇가지 임계값에 기초한 효과적인 통신동기방식에 의해서 개선될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 분산 그래프의 밀도함수로서 임계값을 설정하고 그 임계값을 이용하여 통신 동기방식에 의거한 분산 너비우선탐색 트리 구성 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 밀도가 낮은 그래프에서 기존의 알고리즘보다 통신 복잡성면성 면에서 수학적 분석을 통해개선됨을 입증하였으며, 밀도가 높은 그래프에서는 현재와 동일함을 입증함으로써 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘이 종래의 알고리즘들보다 통신 복잡성에서 가장 효율적임을 보았다.

  • 본 논문에서는 순환적인 검색공간과 장애물이 존재하는 검색공간에서 객체들을 클러스터링할 때 고려해야하는 CCD(Clustering with Circular Distance) 문제와 COD(Clustering with Obstructed Distance) 문제를 연구하였다. 그리고 다차원 검색공간에서 삽입이나 삭제가 빈번히 발생하는 객체들을 효율적으로 클러스터링하기 위한 새로운 클러스터링 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안한 클러스터링 알고리즘에는 CCD 및 COD 문제를 해결하기 위한 거리 함수가 정의된다. 그리고 최소의 연산 시간으로 높은 공간 국부성을 갖는 클러스터들을 생성하기 위한 클러스터링 방법이 포함된다.

평균 피라미드를 이용한 계층적 고속 이동벡터 추정 (A Fast Hierarchical Motion Vector Estimation Using Mean Pyramids)

  • In this paper, a hierarchical motion vector estimation algorithm using pyramidal structure is proposed. Using a smaller measurement window at each level of a pyramid than that of the conventional scheme, the proposed algorithm, based on the TSS(three step search), reduces the computational complexity greatly with its performance comparable to that of the TSS. By increasing the number of cnadidate motion vectors which are to be used as the initial search points for motion vector estimation at the next level, the performance improves further. Then the computational complexity of the proposed hierarchical algorithm depends on the number of candidate motion vectors, with its PSNR (peak signal to noise ratio) ranging between those of the TSS and the full search method. The simulation results with two different block sizes and various test sequences are given and its hardware implementation is also sketched.

  • The world-wide various nations is doing the development competition of marine resources for solving supply and non balance of the resources in compliance with depleting the land resources. Currently for exploring marine resources, After confirming the location of the resources by controlling search equipment and sensor module in research vessel, the method which collects sample of searched resources and analyzes the quality and a contents of the resources in research vessel is been applying. This search method is structure which analyzes an ingredient in ship and decides the quality of the resources. And real-time processing for an effective resources search is been demanding. Therefore in this paper, we have developed a resources identification algorithm that can display the type feature of resources by real-time 3D Graphic.

Depth first search 알고리듬을 이용한 윤곽선 영상의 효과적인 부호화 기법 (An Efficient Contour Coding Method Using Depth First Search Algorithm)

  • In this paper, a new contour coding algorithm is investigated for use in region based image coding. Generally the contour data may be encoded by its chain codes or chain difference codes. But the data compression efficiency is low because of heavy burden for initial absolute coordinates of each chain. To alleviate this problem, the depth first search in graph traversal algorithm, is applied to the chain difference coding method. The proposed coding scheme is shown to be very efficient for contour images obtained by split-merge segmentation. Finally, we can reuce data about 60% in comparison with modified chain difference coding.

단위 처리기를 조기 은퇴시키는 완전탐색 블록정합 알고리듬 (A Full- Search Block-Matching Algorithm With Early Retirement of Processing Elements)

  • In this paper, we propose a full-search block-matching algorithm with early retirement, which can be applied to a 1-D systolic array of processing elements (PE's) for fast motion estimation. In the proposed algorithm, a PE is retired when its current accumulated sum is equal to or larger than the current minimum MAD. If all PE's are retired, the MAD calculation is stopped for the current array position and is started for the next one in the search window. Simulation results show that the optimum motion vector is always found with less computation, the total computation cycles for motion estimation are decreased to about 60%, and the power dissipation in the PE's is reduced to about 40-60%.

  • Network reconfiguration in distribution systems is realized by changing the status of sectionalizing switches, and is usually done for loss reduction of load balancing in the system. This paper presents an effective heuristic based switching scheme to solve the distribution feeder loss reduction problem. The proposed algorithm consists of two parts. One is to set up a decision tree to represent the various switching operations available. Another is to apply a proposed technique called cyclic best first search. the proposed algorithm identify the most effective the set of switch status configuration of distribution system for loss reduction. To demonstrate the validity of the proposed algorithm, numerical calculations are carried out the 32, 69 bus system models.

  • Tagging represents one of the Web 2.0 technology, and has an appropriate mechanism for the classification of dynamically changing Web informations. This technique is capable of searching the Web informations using the user specified tags, but still it has a limitation of providing only the limited informations to the tags. Therefore, in order to search the related informations easily, we need to extend this technique further to search not only the desired informations through the designated tags and also the related informations. In this paper, we first have designed and developed an algorithm that can get a desired tag cluster, which is capable of collecting the searched tags along with the related tags. We first performed a test to compare the difference between the user collected tag data through RSS and the reduced data. The second test focused on the accuracy of extracted related tags that depends on the similarity functions, such as the Pearson Correlation and Euclidean. Finally, we showed the final results visually using the graph algorithm.

  • In this paper, an improved method of environment map building and a region search algorithm for mobile robot are presented. For the environment map building of mobile robot, measurement data of ultrasonic sensors and certainty grid representation is usually used. In this case, inaccuracies due to the uncertainty of ultrasonic data are included in the map. In order to solve this problem, an environment map building method using a Bayesian model was proposed previously[5].   • 최근 모바일 단말기의 위치정보를 활용하는 주요 응용 중의 하나인 최적 경로 탐색 시스템은 출발지와 목적지간의 거리뿐만 아니라 탐색 되어지는 구간에 존재하는 많은 교통 상황들을 파악하고 이를 경로 탐색에 활용해야 한다. 그러나 기존의 경로 탐색 알고리즘은 교통상황들을 적절히 이용하지 못하고 있다. 이 논문에서는 새로운 최적 경로 알고리즘을 제안한다. 알고리즘은 최적 경로를 검색하기 위해 교통상황을 고려하고, 연산비용을 줄이기 위해 도로를 그리드 형태로 나누어 각각의 평균속도를 가지고 휴리스틱 가중치를 부여한다. 또한 알고리즘의 전체 수행시간, 노드 접근 횟수, 최적경로의 정확도를 항목으로 하는 실험을 수행하여 기존의 탐색 알고리즘인 Dijkstra 알고리즘과 A*알고리즘과의 성능평가를 실시하였다. 실험 결과 제안한 알고리즘이 타 알고리즘에 대해 좋은 성능을 보여주었다. 제안한 알고리즘은 향상된 응용을 지원하는 텔레매틱스 시스템에 유용하게 사용될 것으로 기대된다.
