The photoinduced electron transfer reactions of N,N,N',N'-tetramethyl-p-phenylenediamine (TMPD) in various polar solvents were studied by measuring time-resolved fluorescence. The temperature dependence on the fluorescence decay rate in acetonitrile, methanol, ethanol and buthanol was carried out to obtain the activation energy and Arrehnius factor for the photoinduced electron transfer reaction. It was found that as the dielectric constant of the solvent increases, the activation energy and the reaction rate increase. This implys that the Arrehnius factor is important in controlling the photoinduced electron transfer reaction rate. In water, TMPD exists in three forms (cationic, protonated and neutral forms) due to the high dielectric constant and strong proton donating power of water. The photoinduced electron transfer reaction was found to be very fast (< 50 ps) and also the long liverd component in the fluorescence decay profile attributable to the photoexcited protonated form of TMPD was observed. Probably, the reaction pathway and the reaction coordinate seem to be different depending on the solvents studied here.

It is a real situation that the meal service at silver towns such as the welfare facilities for the elderly is giving help in maintaining health, preventing diseases, and giving mental pleasure to the dwelling elderly people, thus the importance of meal service for housing occupants is being demanded together. This study is based on some inconvenient matters when using the meal-service facilities within the silver town targeting housing occupants at the silver town, aiming to examine which influence it can have upon the satisfaction with meal service in housing occupants. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to present a desirably developmental direction for the meal-service facilities, which can cope with diverse needs of housing occupants. To achieve the objectives of this study, it was analyzed by selecting research variables that were verified by the consideration of preceding studies.

Nagan walled town is located on an axis connecting symbolic places, which is a lucky place from the Fengshui point of view because a mountain sits to the rear and a body of water sits to the front. It represents the environmental development of cultural space by blending folk belief, religion, social systems, adminstration facilities and living culture buildings. Therefore, it has a sustainable cultural view connected with a formed or formless religious view and an artificial view (walls, government buildings, living houses, cultivated lands, etc.) in a natural landscape. Environmental design techniques, enlarging the meaning and value of living on a mental level, can be found in the arrangement of space composition and settlement of Nagan walled town. The organised spaces of government and residential areas were constructed within the wall with the view of searching for lucky places (from best, better and good places) in order to construct ecological networks according to the outlooks of space and settlement.

환경친화형 신규 제초제 개발 연구의 일환으로 아미드 치환체를 갗는 히단토인계 Protoporphyrinogen IX oxidase 저해 화합물 5a - 5i들을 합성하였으며, 온실에서 밭조건 경엽처리 제초활성 시험을 실시하였다. 합성된 화합물 중에서 벤질 아미드 치환체를 갖는 화합물들의 제초활성이 우수하였으며 화합물 5h는 대조화합물인 fluthiacet-methyl과의 비교시험 결과 밭조건에서 문제잡초인 바랭이와 자귀풀에 대한 활성이 보다 우수하였다.

The Co-based ribbons with different length were annealed in different magnetic field and GMI profiles were investigated in order to clarify the influence of ribbon size on GMI effect. The GMI ratio decreased with the decreasing in length and also decreased with increasing annealing field. While, the slope of GMI profiles inclined and the field range showing linearity was broadened. It shows prospect to low field sensor, especially for a navigation sensor.

영국이 오늘날과 같은 완벽한 공공도서관 인프라를 구축할 수 있었던 이유 중의 하나는, 1940~90년대 초에 전국에 30여개의 신도시를 건설할 때 많은 공공도서관을 함께 건립하였기 때문이다. 현재 우리나라에서도 많은 신도시를 건설하고 있는데, 이는 공공도서관을 효과적으로 건립할 수 있는 절호의 기회라고 생각한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 영국의 대표적인 신도시인 밀턴킨즈를 연구 대상으로 삼아 이 신도시 건설과정에서 공공도서관이 어떻게, 어떤 모습으로 건립되었는지를 조사 분석하였다. 조사 결과 신도시에 건설된 공공도서관들은 그 입지를 통해 봤을 때 애초에 신도시 계획에 포함되었고, 그 계획에 의하여 건립되었음이 밝혀졌다.

The purpose of this study is to review and evaluate the proper planning for 2030 Incheon Urban Parks & Green Space Master Plan. Some of the plans are aimed at multiple small districts within the city's old town, as local governments are planned to be sub-subsidized by Incheon Metropolitan City. However, these plans have become simple plans for each district and therefore find it difficult to collect from the perspective of the using system of the residents who are directly used. First, the construction of the urban park and green space network requires the construction of a service using system that can be felt by the users. Second, the basic idea of each district planned as the detailed strategy of the master plan should be planned through consultation with nearby the district. Third, specific targets and directions for the urban park and green space plan through the urban development project are needed.

This study aims to analyze the role of TST for regional development in terms of university-research institutes-industry interaction. In particular, it focuses on the spin-off activities from research institutes and universities and their support mechanisms. This study consists of following three sections. This study consists of following three sections. Firstly, we describe the role and characteristics of research institutes and universities as the foundation of high technology business spin-off activities in the region. Secondly, the mechanisms for active technology transfer and business incubation are identified in terms of university-research institute and industry interaction in TST. Thirdly, important lessons for the development of technopolis are suggested from the view point of experiences of TST.
