The main purpose of this study was to examine the effects of drama activities using children's literature on the improvement of young children's creativity. To answer this research question, 2 groups, an experimental group composed of 18 five-year-old children who attend "J public Kindergarten," and a control group composed of 18 five-year-old children who attend "H public Kindergarten," were organized. Both kindergartens were located in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do. The experimental group participated in drama activities twice a week; 16 times for 8 weeks. In this study, the change in children's creativity was measured by conducting a pre-test and a post-test developed by Chun(2000). The results after 8 weeks of experimentation indicate that the drama activities using children's literature had a positive effect on promoting children's creativity. Comparing the scores of the pre-test and the post-test, it was obvious that the experimental group's creativity had been improved. The experimental group's creativity including the sub-elements of the test such as fluency, flexibility, uniqueness, and imagination, was improved more than that of the controlled group.

The purpose of this paper is to carry out an empirical analysis of the link that exists between microfinance and poverty alleviation. The analysis is driven by literature searches on empirical works done by different researchers in different contexts. Qualitative research methodology was adopted, following a desktop approach. An empirical literature review took a centre stage in this investigation. An analysis of empirical works shows that microfinance enhances poverty alleviation despite the challenges such as the Indian Andhra Pradesh crisis. The paper is limited to a review of empirical sources of literature. A field survey, supported by an econometric analysis would have helped to generate robust results. This paper attempts to bring together the empirical works that were done in different contexts to shed light on the important relationship between microfinance and poverty. Many research works on microfinance depend upon personal anecdotes, thus this present paper attempts to compile the scattered empirical findings on microfinance and poverty alleviation.

The purpose of this study is to observe how Korean learners with low (KL) and high (KH) English proficiency manifest English rhythm with respect to the relative temporal stability or temporal constraint of syllable. In this study, speech cycling task, repeating a short phrase with the series of beeps of same interval, was used to examine temporal distribution of stressed beats.

Purpose: This study examined the literature concerning the burdens of parents of preschool-aged children diagnosed with type 1 diabetes mellitus. Methods: We employed an integrative review methodology based on Whittemore and Knafl's framework. The literature search was conducted using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines across four electronic databases: PubMed, Web of Science, the Cumulative Index to Nursing Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), and PsycINFO. Ultimately, 18 articles were included in the review. Results: The review yielded four themes: (1) parental burdens, (2) factors related to the burdens, (3) coping strategies, and (4) implications for clinical practice. Parents experienced psychological, physical, and social burdens due to the diabetes care of their children. Several factors influenced burdens, including child-related characteristics such as age, severity of diabetes, and hospitalization experience, as well as parental factors like family income, race, and residential area. Parents initially felt burdened when their child was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, but over time, they often adapted to the situation through support and sharing of responsibilities. Parents desired education and interventions reflecting the unique characteristics of preschoolers. Conclusion: This integrative literature review revealed that parents experience numerous burdens when their child is diagnosed with diabetes. Future research should focus on developing interventions to address parents' psychological difficulties, including tracking parental psychological changes over time. Tailored nursing interventions should also be provided to parents of preschool-aged children, as opposed to the more generic nursing interventions traditionally applied across all age groups of children in clinical settings.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to explore literature on performance management in order to get insight into how the concept could be optimised during VUCA times for better performance of organisations. Research design, data and methodology: The study adopted a desktop research methodology. Extensive literature review has been conducted from various sources such as journals, research papers, organizational reports, government reports, media reports and articles available on web and effort has been made to assimilate the knowledge body on the topic in the current paper. Literature that enhances understanding on managing performance during VUCA times was reviewed. Results: Solutions to optimise performance management in organisations during VUCA times were proffered and these include innovative planning, innovative monitoring, innovative training and development, innovative rating and innovative rewarding. Conclusions: The study proves that, performance management process should not be done the ordinary way during VUCA times, but innovatively. In this regard innovative performance management can optimise performance of organisations during VUCA period. The study recommends that a further quantitative study be done to test the suitability of each of the proposed ways of innovatively practicing each element of the performance management process across different industries, countries or sector.

The purpose of this study is to examine temporal structures of English words beginning with an /s/ plus stop sequence through production experiments with native speakers of Korean learning English and native speakers of English. According to the results of our production experiment, both a beginner and an advanced group of Korean English learners produced /s/ shorter than a following stop, while the opposite pattern was observed in English native speakers' production. An advanced group of Korean English learners were good at producing a stop after /s/ as unaspirated, but their production of a stop following /s/ was different from English native speakers' production in that the closure duration of the stop was much longer.

Because protein is a primary element responsible for biological or biochemical roles in living bodies, protein function is the core and basis information for biomedical studies. However, recent advances in bio technologies have created an explosive increase in the amount of published literature; therefore, biomedical researchers have a hard time finding needed protein function information. In this paper, a classification system for biomedical literature providing protein function evidence is proposed. Note that, despite our best efforts, we have been unable to find previous studies on the proposed issue. To classify papers based on protein function evidence, we should consider whether the main claim of a paper is to assert a protein function. We, therefore, propose two novel features - protein and assertion. Our experimental results show a classification performance with 71.89% precision, 90.0% recall, and a 79.94% F-measure. In addition, to verify the usefulness of the proposed classification system, two case study applications are investigated - information retrieval for protein function and automatic summarization for protein function text. It is shown that the proposed classification system can be successfully applied to these applications.

복잡계 과학의 발달에 따라 많은 사회 네트워크들이 분석되고 있다. 사회 네트워크는 현재 인문, 경제, 웹 사이언스 등 다양한 분야에 응용되고 있다. 최근, 소설의 등장인물을 이용한 네트워크와 실제 사회 네트워크의 특성을 비교하는 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 등장인물 네트워크는 대부분 미리 정리된 인명사전을 이용하므로 주요한 몇몇 인물들 사이의 연관성은 밝힐 수 있으나, 한번 이상 등장한 모든 인물의 전체적인 사회적 구조는 설명하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 소설로부터 등장인물을 직접 추출하고, 등장인물 사이의 거리를 사용하여 상관관계를 설정하여 네트워크를 구축한다. 제안방법은 소설 텍스트로부터 등장인물의 출현빈도와 등장인물들 사이의 연관성의 발생 빈도를 이용하여 연관성 가중치를 구할 수 있으며, 이 연관성 가중치를 사용하여 노드의 수를 조절하여 K-critical 네트워크를 구성한다. 제시한 K-critical 네트워크는 분석대상 소설에 등장하는 인물들끼리 얼마나 긴밀하게 연관되어 있는지를 정량적으로 파악하는 매우 중요한 정보를 줄 수 있음을 실험을 통하여 제시할 수 있었다.

Extranodal intraoral Hodgkin lymphoma is not common. We report the case of a 78-year-old male patient with ulcer of the mandibular oral mucosa that was not cured for about 3 weeks. In biopsy and histopathologic examination, it was found to be extranodal intraoral Hodgkin lymphoma. Early diagnosis of oral lesions led to early detection of lesions of the opposite neck lymph node in an additional PET-CT scan. We report this case and review relevant literature.

Objectives : The result is the followings after investingating composition, dosage and usage of Yukmijihwang-Hwan(六味地黃丸) in literature by country and Era. Methods : Investigated Classics of Oriental Medicine that Yukmijihwang-Hwan is first described. Results : Found 42 literatures searching Yukmijihwang-Hwan in Classics of Oriental Medicine. Literature that Yukmijihwang-Hwan is recorded by first was Yinhaijingwei(銀海精微), but capacity has not recorded. Yukmijihwang-Hwan Medicinal Decoction that eat(Yukmijihwang-Tang: 5 times) as pill than eat(Yukmijihwang-Hwan: 37 times) was more. Literature that composition of Yukmijihwang-Hwan is recorded by Rehmannia glutinosa(熟地黃) is 8 Ryang(兩), Poria cocos(白茯苓) is 3 Ryang, Paeonia suffruticosa(牧丹皮) is 3 Ryang, Alisma Canaliculatum (澤瀉) 3 Ryang, Cornus officinalis(山茱萸) 4 Ryang, Dioscorea batatus(山藥) 4 Ryang was most. Conclusions : Yukmijihwang-Hwan wat difference in composition and capacity that Chinese and Korean Classics of Oriental Medicine. After Dongeuibogam of the Korea is published, composition and capacity are connected until today.
