  • Service quality is a competitive weapon in the banking industry. Better understanding of customer's perception of service quality in the banking industry and the drivers of such perceptions will be a sound basis for continuous improvement in the quality of service offered to customers, customer satisfaction and customer retention in the industry. An earlier study by the same authors (Ibrahim and Bokkasam, 2016) revealed that the six SERVQUAL determinants are significantly related to and explain about 84% of overall customer satisfaction. It was also observed that the female customers perceived higher level of positive perception towards SERVQUAL determinants. The present study carries out a micro-analysis of the influence of gender on the constituents of the service quality and customer satisfaction for all the six dimensions of the SERVQUAL: Access, Communication, Competence, Tangibility, Empathy and Reliability, in Saudi banking sector. The study also analyses gender-wise levels of satisfactions with regard to individual components constituting various factors of the constituents of SERVQUAL. It was observed that the male customers have significantly low levels of satisfactions with regard to promptness in solving conflicting issues and comfort during waiting time in the bank.

It was researched by 231 students of third grade have finished clinical experiment until September though questionnaire. The methods for this study used the a stress measuring instrument thai was used by Hoa-Yun Jun and coping ways of stresses devised by Bell. We computed the frequency and the mean value by the SPSS 10.0 statistical data and we got the following result that from the experiment with t-test and the ANOVA analysis. 1. The mean value of stresses indicated rather higher states in figures 2,855 and the figures that were classified by each areas, indicated highest figures are affected by circumstances, that is 3.065. 2. As higher as the degree of satisfactions in their major, students feel stress less so, the result was not quite different between each of them (p=0.007). 3. The copping ways of stresses indicated, similar differences by using of long-term copping ways and short-term copping ways to cope with stresses(p=0.000). 4. In case of the students who failed college entrance exams and prepared for the next chance for more than one year, indicated highest figures that is 2.57 in short-term ways to cope with stresses, so it showed slightly differences between them(p=0.014). 5. According to the satisfactions of clinical experiments, there were not any statistical differences in long-term coping ways but, as smaller as the satisfactions, in that evidence of the students use short-term copping ways, it showed slightly differences between them(p=0.041). 6. According to the degree of stresses, low-stress groups use short-term coping ways more than high-stress groups, so it showed slightly differences between them(p=0.001). 7. • In becoming parents, the marital partners enter into a new developmental phase. The conception of the child is an act of mutual creativity during which the boundaries between the self and another were temporarily obliterated more completely than at any time since infancy. The infant is a physical fusion of the parents, and their personalities unite within the child. for many women, creativity as a mother becomes a central matter that provides meaning and balance to their lives. The husband usually has strong desires for an offspring and can be transformed by it. The child can profoundly affect one or both parents, and the influences are reciprocal-a child's needs or specific difficulties uncover a parent's inadequacy. following the child's development, each transition into a new developmental phase requires an adaptation by the parents, and one or another of these required adaptations may disturb a parent's equilibirium. And the personality changes, emotional difficulties, and regressions of a spouse that occur in response to some phase of parenthood can upset the marriage. Not only do children identify with parents, but parents also identify with their children. The parents take pleasure in child's joy and suffer with the child's pain more than in almost any other relationship. certain respects e parents lives again in the child. Through the process of identification the child can also provide one of the two parents with the opportunity to experience intimately the way in which a person of the opposite gender grows up. Parenthood also provides the opportunity to be loved, admired, and needed simply because one is a parent and, as such, a central and necessary object in the young child's life. The many potentialities for emotional satisfactions from parenthood manage to outweigh the tribulations and sacrifices that are required. The child also exerts an indirect effect through changing the parent's position in the society, for new sets of relationships are established as the parents are drawn to other couples with children of the same age, and for a new impetus toward economic and social mobility often possesses the parents. frequently the couple's relatedness to their own parents improves and grows firmer once again. Parenthood, the satisfactions it provides and the demands it makes, varies as life progresses : and changes with the parent's interests, needs, and age as well as with the children's maturation. There are phases in the child's life that the parents are reluctant to have pass, whereas they tolerate others largely through knowing that they will soon be over. The changing lives of the children provide many satisfactions that offset the tribulations, uncertainties, and regrets. The parents change. The young father, who was just starting on his carrier whom the first child was born, settles into a life pattern. He becomes secure with increasing achievement and interacts differently with the youngest child and provides a different model for him than for the oldest. The mother may have less time for a second or third child than for her first, but she may also be more assured in her handling of them. The birth of a baby when the parents art in their late thirties will find them Less capable of physical exertion with the child and less tolerant of annoyances, but they are less apt to be annoyed. Eventually the children min and leave home, but the couple do not cease to be parents.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze motivations, benefits, and satisfactions of the college student volunteers. We carry out the pre-to-post survey with 615 college student volunteers (male 245, female 367) who have participated in the mobile education program for the elderly funded by a Telecom. The instruments consist of VFI (Volunteer Functions Inventory) developed by Clary & Snyder (1999), including 30 items for motivations, 12 items for achievements, and 5 items for satisfactions of volunteering. The items for motivations and achievements are comprised of 6 subcategories: career, value, understanding, protective, enhancement, and social. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Enhancement motivation is the highest, followed by understanding, value, career, protective, and social motivation. (2) Social benefit is the highest, followed enhancement, career, understanding, value, protective benefit. (3) The difference between motivation and benefit in social category is the largest, followed by career, enhancement, value, protective, and understanding category. While benefit is higher than motivation in all other categories, motivation is higher than benefit just in value category. (4) High motivation-high benefit, high motivation-low benefit, low motivation-high benefit, and low motivation-low benefit groups are dichotomized by the median of each motivation and benefit. In all six categories, high motivation-high benefit group shows the highest satisfaction, but low motivation-low benefit group shows the lowest. In short, benefit shows stronger correlation with satisfaction than motivation does. Finally, we suggest several implications for future research and policy of college students' volunteering based on these results.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of location satisfaction of innovative start-ups, located in capital and non-capital areas, on the intention of relocation. The analysis was based on the data of a survey of 231 innovative start-ups that were founded less than 7 years ago. 10 factors related to the aspects of business management, network building, and business environment were considered as location satisfaction of start-ups. The dependent variable was whether innovative start-ups plan to relocate. First, it was confirmed that in the case of innovative start-ups in capital area, the intention to relocate was found to decrease when the location satisfactions related to the promptly provision of products and services to consumers and ease of supplying labor were increased. Second, in the case of innovative start-ups in non-capital area, it was found that the intention to relocate was found to decrease when the location satisfactions related to creating a network, convenient transportation and free and creative start-up environment were increased. In addition, it was found that the higher the sales of start-ups in non-capital area, the lower their intention to relocate while the higher firm age of start-ups in non-capital area, the higher their intention to relocate. This study has an academic contribution to examining the relationship between between the location satisfactions of start-ups and the intention to relocate, which has been rarely addressed in Korea, and to shedding light on the difference in capital and non-capital areas. Furthermore, this study has policy implications since it suggests factors that the government should consider for geographical agglomeration of start-ups.
