환자안전을 위한 병원건축 설계지침과 디자인 기본구조 비교조사 - 미국과 영국을 중심으로 (Comparative Study of Hospital Architecture Design Guidelines and Frameworks for the Patient Safety - Focused on the US and UK)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to compare the changes in hospital accreditation evaluations, the changes in hospital building design guidelines, and the development of design indicators for reducing medical accidents in the state-of-the-art healthcare providers. Methods: The changes and tools were carefully investigated and compared that had been taken place and used in the building certification standards, design guidelines, and patient safety design standards to reduce accidents in the United States and the United Kingdom. Results: First, medical accidents are recognized as multiple defense layers rather than personal ones, and a public reporting and learning system is created, reporting the accidents in question publicly and suggesting ways to improve them based on the data at a time. Second, for the accreditation institute that secures the service quality of medical institutions, detailed standards for patient safety are continuously updated with focus on clinical trials. The United States is in charge of the private sector, but on the other hand the United Kingdom is in charge of the public sector. Third, the design guidelines are provided as web-based tools that complement various guidelines for patient safety, and are improved and developed as well. Fourth, detailed approaches are continuously developed and provided to secure patient safety and reduce medical accidents through appropriate research, evidence-based design and strict evaluations. Implications: When medical institutions make efforts to strength patient safety methods through valid design standards, accidents are expected to decrease, whereby hospital finances are also to be improved. A higher level of medical quality service will sure be secured through comprehensive certification evaluation.

  • The study was focused on setting priority for future core technologies in agricultural mechanization using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). A total of 23 technologies was selected by specialists. Evaluation criteria for the priority setting were decided as 'technology', 'marketability', and 'publicity'. Thirteen specialists in agricultural mechanization answered the questionnaire for AHP. As the results, 'technology' was decided as the most important evaluation criterion. 'feasibility' in 'technology' criterion, 'market growth' in 'marketability' criterion, and 'impact to other industry' in 'publicity' criterion were decided as sub-criteria in each criterion. The most important technology was 'Development of portable safety evaluation system for fresh and convenient agricultural products'.

옥상녹화 조성지역의 현황평가 및 이용객 만족도 연구 (The Evaluation of Present Condition and Visitors Satisfaction of Rooftop Greening)

  • The objective of this study is to the integrated evaluation of the present condition and satisfaction of visitors of rooftop greening area using quantitative and qualitative method. The thirteen green roofs were selected to investigate environmental variables as like building structure, soil, water, atmosphere and climate environment and questionnaire survey for investigate the satisfaction of visitors was conducted. The results of this study are as follows : remove of the hazardous inflow of species, install rain water recycling facility, install outdoor unit of air condition where not to affect plants in green roof, install safety facilities in the case of making resting place, plant variable vegetation and so on. The result of questionnaire survey are that visitors want to make more comfortable resting space. The more bigger the resting space and privacy, the more satisfaction of visitor became high. In conclusion, green roofs implementation should be considered reduction of temperature and delay of runoff, insulation effect and ecological restoration as well as rooftop greening is focused on the development of resting space nowadays.

지하철역 캐노피의 설치현황에 따른 디자인 평가에 관한 연구 - 대구광역시 지하철역 캐노피를 대상으로 - (A Study on the Evaluation according to the Situation of Subway Station Canopy - Focused on the Subway Station in Daegu -)

  • This study is subway station canopy evaluation to improve the landscape of a street furniture design. From a survey of the professional abstracted the design elements of subway station canopy in Daegu. And then, it practiced a canopy design appreciation by the analysis of appreciation items. The results are as follows. First, this research analyzes each quality a classified by the four characteristics at the subway station. In general station case, the slope roof was consistent in used to be unified. If the symbol of the express station wasn't common in cross-section or material. In addition, the design evaluation in the lower canopy were evaluated. Therefore, in case of the city installed in the canopy, the characteristic of city gateway and the symbolic characteristic of a design that is required. Second, subway station canopy existed in widely opened site come out a lower rating about safety. Therefore, considering the safety light device or system need to do. Third, if the horizontal or sloping roof shape come out in a lower rating, the highly evaluated curve shape is considered to apply. Forth, a structure material of the canopy was highly evaluated the aluminum composite panels and structural steel pipes. Therefore, to improve a beauty of the city, to give rhythm to a structure material of the canopy of the aluminum composite panels and structural steel pipes will be desirable to use as the main ingredient.

고교시설 디자인 지표의 적용 분석 연구 - 경기도 고등학교를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Application of Design Indicators of the High School Facilities - Focused on High School in Gyeonggi-do -)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the fundamental data to improve a school building through comparing and analyzing facilities of high schools located in Gyeonggi - do Province on the basis of the Design Indicator for the Korean Educational Buildings. Two types of high schools were examined for this study. Some of them are high schools selected by Korean Ministry of Education as a school equipped with superior facilities and the others are high schools equipped with general facilities. 8 items such as safety, comfort, the function of education, utilization, the public, eco-friendliness, technology performance, economical efficiency were examined by 5 point Likert scale. Findings showed that all facilities of both types of high schools received high ratings in terms of safety, utilization, and technology performance. However, the evaluation index on 'various used outdoor space' and 'public buildings harmonized with surroundings' of the education function of both types of high schools was low, which implies that the facility related to the education function needs to be improved. It infers that facilities are simplified and harmony with surroundings disappears when altering the design of the school building due to the convenience of building and the problem of the budget. Therefore, these need to be primarily controlled. Additionally, in high schools with general facilities, the evaluation index on 'aesthetic interior and exterior design of comfort', 'the responsive space to the demand for teaching and learning of the function of education', and eco-friendless were so low that these factors need to be considered when designing the school building.

온라인 쇼핑몰VMD에 대한 지각된 가치의 영향요인으로 소비자 조절초점 역할에 관한 연구 (A Study on Consumers' regulatory focus as a determinant of perceived value of online shopping mall VMD)

  • 의류제품 온라인쇼핑몰의 고객확보 경쟁이 날로 치열해 짐에 따라 쇼핑몰 재방문도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 쇼핑몰의 VMD는 소비자의 쇼핑몰 선택에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인으로 평가되고 있다. 기존연구에서 VMD가 소비자 선택과 쇼핑경험에 미치는 영향은 규명되었지만, 소비자의 목적지향적 특성에 따라 소비행동(선택과 평가, 성과반응)에 어떤 차이를 보이는지에 대한 연구는 부족하였다. 일반적으로 소비자는 쇼핑몰이나 제품을 평가하고 선택할 때 다양한 전략을 사용한다. 소비자가 사용하는 전략과 개인적 목적지향 성향의 적합성에 따라 소비행동과 성과평가에 차이를 보일 가능성이 높다. 최근 이와 같은 개인특성을 설명하는 이론이 조절초점이론이다. 본 연구는 인터넷 쇼핑몰 상황에서 VMD 요소가 개인적 목적지향 성향인(조절초점)에 따라 소비자 반응(쇼핑몰 충성도)에 미치는 민감성에 차이가 있는지를 실증하였다. 실증연구는 두 개의 연구로 진행되었다. [연구 1]에서는 소비자의 초절초점이 온라인 쇼핑몰 VMD 요소의 평가에 차이가 있는지를 검정하였다. 분석결과, 향상초점 성향이 강한 소비자는 시각적요소와 엔터테인먼트 속성에 민감한 반면, 예방초점 소비자는 안전과 프라이버시 속성을 더 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 조사되었다. [연구 2]에서는 온라인 VMD의 지각된 가치가 충성도에 미치는 영향에 있어 소비자 조절초점의 조절효과를 검정하였다. 조절회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 향상초점 소비자는 쾌락적 가치가 충성도에 더 많은 영향을 미치는 반면, 예방초점 소비자는 실용적 속성이 충성도에 더 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

초등학교시설의 노인여가복지시설 복합화 적합성 평가 - 초등학교 시설현황을 중심으로 - (Evaluation of Complexation Suitability of Leisure Facilities for the Elderly in Elementary School - Focused on the Current Condition of Facilities of Elementary School -)

  • This study attempts to deduce the necessity and validity of complexation, and suggests complexation through complexation suitability evaluations as follows. First, the concept and current state of leisure facilities for the elderly and elementary facilities and architectural complexation were investigated through theoretical considerations. Second, the target schools for complexation of 'elementary school-leisure facility for the elderly' were selected. The aspects of facility introduction of an elementary school, teacher support facility, convenience facility for the disabled, safety and security facilities as well as school facility accessibility were investigated on the basis of the data attained from theoretical considerations. Third, the feasibility of complexation of leisure facilities for the elderly was reviewed, based on the investigated data on complexation-targeted elementary school. Regarding school building and support facilities, with a focus on leisure programs for the elderly, the availability and number of rooms, extra numbers of regular classrooms and the room condition were assessed on the basis of the analysis of operational perspective of each facility. The convenience facilities for the disabled were examined by classifying them into interventional facility in consideration of facilities for the elderly, pursuant to the provisions in the convenience promotion assurance act for the disabled, elderly and pregnant women. Safety and security facilities were evaluated in an effort to assess the safety issue of the elderly and children. The result of the evaluation of the 6 elementary schools in Seong-buk county based on the above-mentioned four measurement standards shows that they scored 107~124 points out of the total 155 points, with the average of 118.5 points. This is more than the medium score and shows the possible complexation of the elementary school facilities as the leisure facilities for the elderly, and at the same time it may lead each school to find out the elements conducive to enhancing the complexation as a result of the evaluation. Through the evaluation data, I expect that we contribute to promoting the process of the evaluation of the appropriateness of complexation and the efficient complexation.

안전 항해 지원 서비스 제공에 대한 유용성 평가(I) : 항로 계획 공유 서비스를 대상으로 (An Evaluation of Effectiveness for Providing Safety Navigation Supporting Service : Focused on Route Plan Sharing Service)

  • 본 논문에서는 안전항해를 위한 IT서비스 집합인 16가지의 MSP 중 두 번째 항목인 항해 지원 서비스와 관련하여 설문조사 과정 등을 통해 항로 계획 공유 서비스를 도출하였다. 또한, 도출한 서비스의 유용성을 평가하기 위한 시나리오를 개발하였으며, 개발한 시나리오를 기반으로 FMSS를 활용하여 유용성을 평가하기 위한 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 이를 통해 근접도 평가, 제어도 평가, 심리적 평가에 대한 시뮬레이션 결과를 분석함으로써 항로 계획 공유 서비스의 유용성을 평가하였다. 만약 새로운 서비스를 평가하기 위한 실험을 실제 선박이나 VTS 센터에서 수행한다면 시간적/경제적 문제를 비롯하여 여러 위험이 뒤따를 수 있다. 따라서 시뮬레이션 기반의 예비 유용성 평가 과정이 요구되며, 서비스의 도입 및 시행에 있어서도 다방면의 검증 과정을 반드시 거쳐야할 것으로 판단된다. 왜냐하면, 유용할 것으로 기대되는 서비스일지라도 실제와 유사한 환경에서 평가를 진행해보면, 그 결과는 기대에 미치지 못할 수 있기 때문이다.

국내 유해화학물질 폭력사건 예방을 위한 개선방안 연구 (A Study on the Improvement Plan to Prevent Violent Incidents by Domestic Hazardous Chemical Substance)

  • 화학사고는 화학물질관리법으로 체계적으로 관리되고 있다. 하지만 유해화학물질 폭력사건은 용어 정의, 사례에 대한 연구 등이 전반적으로 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현 법령의 문제점을 고찰하고 국내 외 사례를 통해서 개선사항을 도출하여 유해화학물질 폭력사건 예방을 위한 법적, 제도상의 개선방향을 제시하는데 연구의 중점을 두었다. 제안한 개선방향은 1) 법령의 개정을 통한 예방 강화로 (1) 주관 부처의 선정 등; 2) 온 오프라인 상거래에 대한 규제 강화에서는 (1) 개인 구매량 설정 등; 3) 환경부 중심의 예방, 관리 체계의 강화로 (1) 화학물질평가위원회를 통한 지속적인 제도의 개선 등 3가지 방향에 대해서 제시하였다.

Holistic Approach to Multi-Unit Site Risk Assessment: Status and Issues

  • The events at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station in March 2011 point out, among other matters, that concurrent accidents at multiple units of a site can occur in reality. Although site risk has been deterministically considered to some extent in nuclear power plant siting and design, potential occurrence of multi-unit accident sequences at a site was not investigated in sufficient detail thus far in the nuclear power community. Therefore, there is considerable worldwide interest and research effort directed toward multi-unit site risk assessment, especially in the countries with high-density nuclear-power-plant sites such as Korea. As the technique of probabilistic safety assessment (PSA) has been successfully applied to evaluate the risk associated with operation of nuclear power plants in the past several decades, the PSA having primarily focused on single-unit risks is now being extended to the multi-unit PSA. In this paper we first characterize the site risk with explicit consideration of the risk associated with spent fuel pools as well as the reactor risks. The status of multi-unit risk assessment is discussed next, followed by a description of the emerging issues relevant to the multi-unit risk evaluation from a practical standpoint.
