  • This study deals with the procedure of safety improvement, productivity increase, and tact-time reduction through setting up the system about preventive maintenance. Actually, it is hard to establish and carry out preventive maintenance, even though we recognize the importance of the system concerning time, cost, labor, and so forth. In this study in the viewpoint of cost we are for achieving maximum efficiency by change and reduction of planning process adapted to the special work group. At first we briefly will mention the kind, the necessity, and the concept of preventive maintenance, and then divide the equipment used in the assembly line into the two whether it is necessary or not by way of estimating the breakdown loss, comparing with general establishment of preventive maintenance and modifying it to the case. At the second step we will establish the operation system of plan management related to production and quality in the special case. Check period and category will be set by dividing the assembly equipment into LCL and Focus in the third step. The forth step will contain the operation procedure in detail. And then we must make check and repair record periodically. Finally, on the basis of the record the selection of checking of significance will be conducted. This results in safety improvement, tact time reduction, and productivity improvement.

에너지시설(도시가스배관)의 사고시 영향 평가 (Consequence Analysis of Energy Facility(City Gas Pipeline))

  • 도시가스시설에서 사고가 발생할 때 그 영향을 평가하는 방법론에 대하여 현실을 고려한 모델을 개발하였다. 즉 사건수목분석(ETA)을 통하여 발생할 수 있는 사고의 형태를 도출하였고 가스의 누출 속도를 음속인 경우와 아음속인 경우에 대하여 계산하였다. 가스의 누출시 화재가 주로 피해를 유발하므로 화재가 발생하여 사망, 화상 및 건물에 피해를 줄 수 있는 경우 그 피해범위를 산정하는 방법을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 적절한 가정을 도입하여 사고로 인한 총 손실비용을 계산하는 방법을 제시하였다.

입자상물질의 광학밀도 및 농도측정에 적용된 저가형 광학 부품의 성능평가 (Performance Evaluation of Low-cost Optical Components used for Measuring the Optical Density and Concentration of Particulate Matter(PM))

  • The performance of a set of low-cost optical components used for measuring the optical density of PM particles was evaluated in the present study. To this end, the set of low-cost optical components was replaced with that of general optical components used to measure the PM optical density under identical experimental conditions. The optical densities measured from the set of general optical components were then compared to those obtained from the set of low-cost optical components. While the optical density is measured, another key parameter, the dimensionless extinction constant of PM particles (which is needed to optically measure the PM concentration) was also determined in the present study. The experimental results indicate that the optical density and PM concentration measurements performed by low-cost optical components are feasible, producing trackable variations in the OD and concentrations compared to values obtained from the set of general optical components.

  • Parametric life-cycle cost(LCC) models have been integrated with traditional design tools, and used in prior work to demonstrate the rapid solution of holistic, analytical tradeoffs between detailed design variations. During early designs stages there may be competing concepts with dramatic differences. Additionally, detailed information is scarce, and decisions must be models. for a diverse range of concepts, and the lack of detailed information make the integration make the integration of traditional LCC models impractical. This paper explores an approximate method for providing preliminary life-cycle cost. Learning algorithms trained using the known characteristics of existing products be approximated quickly during conceptual design without the overhead of defining new models. Artificial neural networks are trained to generalize on product attributes and life cycle cost date from pre-existing LCC studies. The Product attribute data to quickly obtain and LCC for a new and then an application is provided. In additions, the statistical method, called regression analysis, is suggested to predict the LCC. Tests have shown it is possible to predict the life cycle cost, and the comparison results between a learning LCC model and a regression analysis is also shown

  • In medium and small firm, the management system which is simple and where there is a practicality is required Ill)re than the management system which is complicated and minute of the centered around large company so that the introduction of the standard costs can be activated and it can be usefully used as a tool of management decisions. A difference between the standard costs introduction plan proposed in this paper and the preexistance study literature are as follows. In this paper, by breaking from the whole cost accounting aiming at all item, that is the traditional introduction method, and presenting the product cost accounting method by group the standards setting object was minimized and simplified. In this way, if the standards setting object is simplified, it is quick at the perimeter environment change as the little man power and flexibly it corresponds to and the cost information calculation which is exact with the setting up and maintenance of the efficient cost standard becomes available. As a result of applying for real through S corp., the usability of the method that the standard costs introduction method proposed in this paper produced the standard costs relatively short within period, it manages was verified. And the standard costs introduction method proposed in this paper went by the various cost information for each products, the management class did the management will decision which was objective and reasonable in the putting first.

  • Recently many researchers contributed to the understanding of Quality Control System, but the use of economics in the design of quality assurance system is limited in treatment of the relationship between the average incoming quality level (or average process quality level) of the incoming lot and the average outgoing quality level of this lot. In this study, a traditional concept of sampling inspection plan for the quality assurance system is extended to a consideration of economic aspects in total production system by representing and analyzing the effects between proceeding and succeeding production process including inspection process. This approach recognizes that the decision at each manufacturing process (or assembly process), is to be determined not only by the cost and the average outgoing quality level of that process, but also by the input parameters of the cost and the incoming quality to the succeeding process. By analyzing the effects of the average incoming and outgoing quality, manufacturing or assembly process quality level and sampling inspection plan on the production system, mathematical models and solution technique to minimize the total production cost for a general product manufacturing system with specified average outgoing quality limit are suggested.

  • 최근 생애주기비용 분석의 중요성이 대두됨에 따라 공동주택 리모델링 사업에서의 생애주기비용 분석을 위한 이론적 모델, 표준지침 및 소프트웨어 등이 개발되어지고 있다. 그러나 현재까지도 실질적인 안전진단에 대한 과거 보수이력데이터의 부재로 인한 LCC분석 결과에 대한 신뢰수준이 여전히 미흡하다. 본 연구에서는 사례 공동주택의 신뢰성에 기초한 LCC분석을 통해 리모델링 전략을 평가하고, 장래 요구되는 리모델링 조치수준의 비교 $\cdot$ 분석을 통해 적정 경제성지수를 제시함과 동시에 최근 연구가 활발히 진행 중인 공동주택 리모델링에 대한 실적 LCC 기초자료를 얻고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 제안된 퍼지로직에 기초한 안전성평가와 LCC분석모델은 공동주택 리모델링사업에서의 가치 지향적 설계대안 선정, 경제성평가 및 합리적인 예산의 분배 등에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

Development of safety-Based Guidelines for Cost-Effective Utility Pole Treatment along Highway Rights-of-Way

  • This study was conducted to develop a methodology to predict utility pole accident rates and to evaluate cost-effectiveness for safety improvement for utility pole accidents. The utility pole accident rate prediction model was based on the encroachment rate approach introduced in the Transportation Research Board Special Report 214. The utility pole accident rate on a section of highway depends on the roadside encroachment rate and the lateral extent of encroachment. The encroachment rate is influenced by the horizontal and vertical alignment of the highway as well as traffic volume and mean speed. The lateral extent of encroachment is affected by the horizontal and vertical alignment, the mean speed and the roadside slope. An analytical method to generate the probability distribution function for the lateral extent of encroachment was developed for six kinds of encroachment types by the horizontal alignment and encroachment direction. The encroachment rate was calibrated with the information on highway and roadside conditions and the utility pole accident records collected on the sections of 55mph speed limit of the State Trunk Highway 12 in Wisconsin. The encroachment rate on a tangent segment was calibrated as a function of traffic volume with the actual average utility pole accident rates by traffic volume strategies. The adjustment factors for horizontal and vertical alignment were then derived by comparing the actual average utility pole accident rates to the estimations from the model calibrated for tangent and level sections. A computerized benefit-cost analysis procedure was then developed as a means of evaluating alternative countermeasures. The program calculates the benefit-cost ratio and the percent of reduction of utility pole accidents resulting from the implementation of a safety improvement. This program can be used to develop safety improvement: alternatives for utility pole accidents when a predetermined performance level is specified.

SRL의 경량화 및 자가탈출기능 개발 (The Lightweight and the Self-escape Function Development of the SRL)

  • Many kinds of falling prevention systems with a safety block have been supplied in order to prevent falling accidents and acquire the long life and cost down for the maintenance. However, there are not the reliable and domestic the falling prevention system until now. Almost systems were imported from U.S.A, Japan, U.K and Germany. The structural safety of the imported safety block is satisfied sufficiently, but it has heavy weight due to the cover with the aluminum and thickness. Especially, the falling prevention system as the safety block is very expensive. It brings about flow the enormous money out of country. Furthermore it has a heavy weight when workers climbed the ladder with a falling prevention system and moved, many workers are not feeling themselves. Thus, the aim of this work is to develop a commercial self-escape SRL(Self Retracting Lifeline) with the safety block function that has a light weight and an advanced strength. The cost efficiency and convenience of the system and safety for workers also will be improved remarkably even though this system has a light weight. The results show that the maximum stress is obtained in each part by the lower more than yield strength and has sufficient safety in the developed new safety block.
