본 논문에서는 기존의 고속 유클리디언 거리 변환법을 개선한 새로운 계산 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 고속 유클리디언 거리 변환법이 가지고 있는 단점인 특징점의 수에 비례하여 계산량이 늘어나는 단점을 극복하기 위해서, 본 논문에서는 특징점들 중에서 비특징점과 4방향으로 연결되어 있는 특징점만을 이용하여 보로노이 다이어그램을 계산함으로써 유클리디언 거리 변화도(Euclidean distance map)의 계산 시간을 기존의 방법보다 평균 40%로 감소시켰다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법의 효율성을 검증하기 위해서 크기의 바이너리 영상 16장에서 대해서 기존의 방법과 제안한 방법으로 똑같이 유클리디언 거리 변화도를 계산하여 계산 시간을 비교함으로써 그 효능을 입증하였다.

International Towing Tank Conference (ITTC) recommended verifying a ship's ability to move transversely at zero forward speed without altering heading by a crabbing test. In sea trial, all available propellers/rudders/thrusters should be used to find the maximum possible transverse speed. For estimating crabbing ability in the design stage, tests to estimate possible swaying force and yawing moment range using all available propellers/rudders/thrusters are conducted. By butterfly diagram, which compares possible swaying force and yawing moment range with external swaying force and yawing moment by wind, a ship's crabbing ability can be estimated. In this study, model tests of a cruise vessel equipped with bow thrusters and POD system were conducted to find out her crabbing ability in the design stage. To mimic quay condition, a model quay-wall was set in the towing tank.

In this paper, vibration characteristics after applying variable speed control to fans with a rated speed used in a power plant are studied by performing experiments and analyzing finite element models. Then the campbell diagram is presented to verify the reason of the abnormal vibration measured from fan structure during variable operation of Forced Draft Fan & Induced Draft Fan. According to results, it is found that amplitude of acceleration increases abruptly when a 2X harmonic component meets the natural frequency of fan rotor. Therefore it is very important thing that investigate exactly dynamic characteristics for the rotor at variable speed zone before applying variable speed control to a rotor with a rated speed.

This paper is concerned with not only the transformation of the logic diagrams to the NAND and the NOR forms but also the inverse transformation deriving the simple Boolean function from a logic diagram. The conversions of the algebraic expression from the AND, OR and NOT operations to the NAND and the NOR operations are usually quite complicated, because they involve a large number of repeated applications of De Morgan's Theorem and the other logic relations. For the derivation of the Boolean function, it becomes difficult because the Boolean function is determined from the De Morgan's theorem in consecutive order until the output is expressed in terms of input variables (9). But, these difficulties are avoided by the use of new techniques, called the TWO-NOTs method and the MOVING-NOT method, that are presented in this paper.

1607 OH/IR stars associated with IRAS sources are assembled and the IRAS LRS spectra of 980 OH/IR stars are examined in this paper. The nature of the circumstellar dust for these sources is classified. The distributions of these subgroups of OH/IR stars in the IRAS color-color diagram and the period-color diagram are interpreted with their evolutionary status. The Galactic and the velocity distributions of these subgroups of OH/IR stars are also presented. The correlations among the expanding velocities of the envelopes, colors, periods and the pumping efficiencies for subgroups of OH/IR stars are investigated to outline the evolutionary status of OH/IR stars.

Seasonal changes of abundance of the main phytoplankton groups of species (diatoms, dinoflagellates, chrysophytes, small flagellates and cryptophytes) and a set of environmental parameters were investigated in coastal and pre-estuarine waters of Peter the Great Bay (East/Japan Sea) in May-October of 1998 and 1999. Three periods of mass development were revealed: spring, summer and autumn blooms, with successive change of species. The conditions favourable for each group of species were determined. Driving mechanisms of the succession include nutrients transport through seasonal pycnocline by turbulent mixing, terrestrial nutrients supply by monsoon floods, nutrients supply by upwellings, and light control by the thickness of upper mixed layer. Summer succession could be explained by a simple SST-MLD diagram similar to Pingree S-kh diagram with sea surface temperature as indicator of stratification (S) and mixed layer depth as indicator of light availability (kh).

For analyzing the torsional vibration of a multiple stepped gear system containing a pair of triple gears, a transfer matrix model based on Hibner's branch method is developed and the natural properties of the branched rotor system are calculated with using the $\lambda$-matrix formulation. A Campbell diagram, in which the excitation sources caused by the mass unbalances of the rotors and the transmitted errors of thegearings are considered, shows that, at the neighborhood of the operating speed, there are the four critical speeds amplifying the first mode and the fifth mode. For the surpression of the gear box vibration, two ways are suggested by referring the mode shapes.

In this paper, traffic modeling and control design was considered to analyze and improve the stability of train diagram in the open-loop Metro line. A complete discrete-event traffic model describing the natural instability of open-loop metro line is analyzed. The traffic stability properties are introduced and easy-to-implement state feed back traffic control algorithms are designed, which satisfied with system stability.

근접촉쌍성을 분광형에 따라 A형과 F형으로 분류하여 각각의 물리적 특성과 진화를 조사하였다. 그 결과, 근접촉쌍성이 TRO 이론에 따른 진화 경로를 겪는다고 가정하면, F형이 A형에 비하여 더 접촉에 가까운 즉, W UMa형에 근접한 상태에 있을 가능성이 있음을 알 수 있었다. NCBs의 질량-반경 관계, 질량-광도 관계 및 H-R도를 조사하였는데 그 결과 A형이 F형에 비하여 질량교환이 활발할 것으로 생각된다. 근접촉쌍성은 ZAMS와 평행하게 나타나며 접촉쌍성의 진화 위치와 거의 일치하고 있다.

The Purpose : This study was to figure out the alleviation of the pain of knee joint using Taping Therapy Diagram developed 6 steps treatments. Method : 30 old patients who live in 3 different old people's homes in D place had been treated for three months - twice a week, total 8 times- from 1, September to 30, November 2006. Result : After the pre and post taping therapy treatments, the patient's pain degree was decreased from 5.23 _+1.24 to 3.20 _+ 1.06. Conclusion : The result show that it based on taping therapy Diagram of arikawa was effective on the pain of knee joint.
