도로선형 설계일관성 통합평가방법론을 활용한 안전성 평가 (Road Safety Assessment by Using Integrated Evaluation Methods of Road Design Consistency)

  • PURPOSES: Road Design Consistency Evaluation can guarantee road alignments with safety factors, however it can be hard work to deal with general car accident factors in only this evaluation index. Ideal Road Design Consistency Evaluation is show the mutual balance of road alignment and human factors with a variety of factors for road safety. METHODS: This study carried out overall road safety evaluations which are methods of running speeding consistency and car platoon safety analysis (driver's behaviors factors) as well. RESULTS: Out of 13 sections in a experimental road layout, safety factors of 8 sections showed 'Good' or 'Fair' status. However, 'Poor' results were found out in 5 sections. Particularly, it showed the different outcomes among the 4 evaluation methods used in this study. CONCLUSIONS: Road safety countermeasures were proposed for the potentially dangerous sections in road which failed to identify in the other methods. This study will contribute toward future study of more reliable Road Design Consistency Evaluation in the future for road safety.

신설 광역철도 운전속도 향상방안 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of the Train Operation Speed for the New Metropolitan Railway)

  • A wide metropolitan railway and a metropolitan railway in metropolitan area are transportation systems to cope with possible large demand and are under construction continually. A wide metropolitan railway and a metropolitan railway in metropolitan area are running with low speed because it is difficult to improve train speed according to short distances between stations and topography. There is a few study on improving commercial speed on the existing wide metropolitan railway and metropolitan railway in metropolitan area, but there is no study on a new wide metropolitan railway. This study present speed-up scheme of the Sosa-Wonsi line by enlarging the curve radius, reducing the horizontal steep gradient, reducing the stopping time, speeding up at underground section, and installing the PSD, etc. This scheme is evaluated using the simulation technique.

속도저감형 시설이 차량 주행 속도에 미치는 영향 분석 (Effects on the Vehicle Running Speed Analysis according to the Speed Reduction Road Facilities)

  • It has been applied several ways in order to prevent traffic accidents and speed management on the road which is one of very important factors to prevent accidents. In this study, it is analyzed whether the facility such as the flashing and crosswalk, speed cameras and intermittent warning signs affect on a driving deceleration or not. It has been shown that the flashing and crosswalk and speed cameras except intermittent warning signs play a role of reducing the driving speed. The result showed that these traffic safety facilities help to improve the average speed as well as velocity distribution which was derived by the speed deviation even if there were the difference between facilities. Speed limit display does not affect the deceleration of the driver. Therefore, it was founded in this research that there were the driving speed reduction effect due to the facilities on the road. In order to control the driving speed on the road, it is necessary to install facilities with appropriate location and spacing on the road. In addition, place that turns out suppressed speeding through speed management also are required adequate facilities such as speed cameras.

첨단 차량 안전관리장치 운영을 통한 물류 안전관리시스템 구현 (Realization of Logistics Safety Management System By Operating Advanced Vehicle Safety Management Device)

  • This study aims to provide a real-time information to the driver by effectively operating the advanced safety device attached to the freight vehicle, thereby minimizing insecure behavior of the driver such as speeding, rapid acceleration, sudden braking, And improve driving habits to prevent accidents and save energy. Advanced safety equipment is a device that warns the driver that the vehicle leaves the driving lane regardless of the intention of the driver and reduces the risk of traffic accidents by mitigating or avoiding collision by detecting a frontal collision during driving.The main contents of this report are as follows: In case of installing a warning device on a lane departing vehicle (excluding a light vehicle) and a lorry or special vehicle with a total weight exceeding 3.5 tonnes, the driver must continue to operate unless the driver releases the function.In addition, when the automatic emergency braking system is installed, the structure should be such that the braking device is operated automatically after warning the driver when the risk of collision with the running or stopped vehicle in the same direction is detected in front of the driving lane.

설계일관성을 반영한 감가속도 프로파일 개발 - 지방부 다차로도로를 중심으로 - (Acceleration and Deceleration Profile Development of Reflecting Road Design Consistency)

  • PURPOSES : Previous Speed Profile reflects the patterns of speeds in sections of tangents to curves in the roads. However these patterns are uniform of speeds and Acceleration/Deceleration. In oder to supplement these shortcomings. this study made a new profile which can contain factors of Acceleration/Deceleration through theories of Previous Speed Profiles. METHODS : For sakes, this study developed the speed prediction model of Rural Multi-Lane Highways and calculated Acceleration/Deceleration by appling a Polynomial model based on developed speed prediction model. Polynomial model is based on second by second. Acceleration/Deceleration Profile is developed with the various scenarios of road geometric conditions. RESULTS : The longer an ahead tangent length is, The higher an acceleration rate in curve occurs due to wide sight distance. However when there are big speed gaps between two curves, the longer tangent length alleviate acceleration rate. CONCLUSIONS : Acceleration/Deceleration Profile can overview th patterns of speeds and Accelerations/Decelerations in the various road geometric conditions. Also this result will help road designer have a proper guidance to exam a potential geometric conditions where may occur the acceleration/deceleration states.

연동 구조 내의 추론 성능 향상을 위한 RETE 알고리즘의 적용 (An Application of RETE Algorithm for Improving the Inference Performance in the Coordination Architecture)

  • 오늘날의 네트워크는 다양한 애플리케이션이 수행되고 있는 많은 수의 서버와 라우터들로 구성되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 침입 탐지 에이전트와 방화벽 에이전트가 계약망 프로토콜(Contract Net Protocol)에 의해서 서로 연동할 수 있는 구조를 디자인하고 구축하였다. 계약망 프로토콜은 분산 시스템과 같은 이기종의 컴퓨터 시스템의 효과적인 연동을 위한 방법으로서 여러 에이전트들이 모여 서로 협력하며 하나의 문제를 해결하게 된다. 계약망 프로토콜 내의 커멘드 콘솔은 매니저로서 침입 탐지를 수행하는 계약자들을 수행시키거나 제어하는 역할을 수행한다. 지식 기반의 네트워크 보안 모델링을 위해서 각 모델은 계층적으로 잘 구성된 DEVS (Discrete Event system Specification)에 의해서 구성하려다. 본 논문에서는 계약망 프로토콜에 의해서 운용되는 지식 기반의 침입 탐지 에이전트의 추론 주기를 향상시키기 위한 rete 패턴 매칭 알고리즘을 적용하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 본 연구는 rete 패턴 매칭 알고리즘을 사용하여 계약망 프로토롤의 성능과 특성을 평가해 본다.

플랫폼 기반 배달 이륜차 교통사고 영향요인 분석 (Analysis on Factors Contributing to Motorcycle Accidents of Food Delivery Riders)

  • The total number of Korean restaurants using delivery applications has substantially increased from 7.6% in 2018 to 11.2% in 2019. In 2020, the gross sales in the food delivery service market reached approximately 17 trillion won; this amount is virtually six times that in 2017 (i.e., 2 trillion won). Meanwhile, the annual average death toll of motorcycle riders increased by 3.5%, whereas the number of deaths due to other traffic accidents decreased by 8.2%. Consequently, the foregoing has become a critical social problem. Despite the continuing increase in the number of delivery riders due to the rapid expansion of the delivery industry, no appropriate safety management system has been established. Moreover, the government is experiencing difficulties in assessing the exact situation because of the absence of competent authority. In this study, fundamental data on the characteristics of delivery work and motorcycle accidents were collected through surveys and interviews; then, the influencing factors of traffic accidents were analyzed. Different influencing factors were identified: work experience as a rider; number of deliveries; whether to accept delivery requests in transit; manner of accepting delivery requests; and traffic law violations, such as speeding (for faster delivery) and running a red light. Because the motorcycle delivery industry has a relatively low job-entry barrier (i.e., special qualifications are not required), the riding skills of riders must be improved, and delivery companies must be technically developed to achieve a safe working environment. The results of this study can be utilized as fundamental data for system development or structural improvement of the delivery industry.

컴퓨터 비전 기술을 기반으로 한 자동 차량 감시 시스템 연구 (A Study on the automatic vehicle monitoring system based on computer vision technology)

  • 본 논문은 컴퓨터 비전 기술을 기반으로 자동 차량 감시 시스템을 제안하였다. 실시간 주행표시 시스템은 ITS의 필수 요건을 충족하면서, 자동 감시제어가 가능한 시스템이다. 이러한 장점은 확실한 자동차 추적에 대해 주요 장애물 처리 시스템 적용할 경우, 움직이는 물체에 대한 그림자 추적이다. 추적 차량 이미지에서 모든 종류의 정보를 획득하기 위해 차량을 확실하게 감시 화면에 나타나게 하였다. 시간이 지남에 따라 차량을 정밀 추적 제어 할 필요가 있고, 입체 모델 기반접근 방식 또한 필요한 방식으로 적용하였다. 일반적으로 개체 또는 와이어 프레임 모델의 골격에 의해 차량의 각각의 유형을 나타내었고, 시스템이 실시간 실행되지 않더라도 차량 궤적은 3D기반 방식에서 높은 정밀도로 측정 될 수 있다는 점을 보여 준다. 본 논문에서는 차량, 배경, 그림자에 적용 가능하고, 도로 교통 감시의 시스템을 분할 방법을 역시 적용하였다. 과속 자동차의 속도 추적을 통해 낮은 레벨의 차량제어 추적기의 유효성 역시 실행 하였다. 결론에서 개발된 추적 제어 시스템에서 향상된 자동차 추적의 방법을 개선하고자 하였으며 고속도로 감시제어 시스템을 개발하고자 하였다.
