NC파트 프로그래밍을 위한 전문가시스템 (An Expert System for NC Part Programming (ESPP-1))

  • An expert system for NC part programming of NC lathe (ESPP-1) is developed as a part of Computer-Adied Manufacturing system. Conventional computer-assisted part programming system essentially requires an NC part programmer who is an expert in NC part programming. But the developed ESSP-1 can allow an inexperienced person to make an excellent NC data for the NC Lathe without any problem, since the system has a knowledge base composed of EIA and ISO NC code, feed rate, spindle speed, machining coordinates selection, and tool selection etc., which were directly evoked from some skilled NC part programmers, and referenced some machining handbooks. This paper discusses the algorithm of the expert system for NC part programming of the NC lathe (ESPP-1) and the performance comparisons between the developed expert system and the conventional system.

  • In this study, by using the natural language processing of the field artificial intelligence, automated index was performed . And then, the Natural Language Processor for Constructing Database (NALPDB) has been developed. Furthermore, the Design knowldege Information Relational DataBase (DIREDB) has been also developed, which is designed to interlock the knowledge base. DIREDB processes both the documented design-data , like a concrete standard specification, and the design knowledge frrom an expert. DIREDB is also simulates the design space of structures accordance with the production rule, and thus it is determined that DIREDB can be used as a engine to retrieve new knowledge and to implement knowldege base that is necessary to the development of automatic design system.

  • Household electrical appliances should be designed to satisfy safety standards. An expert system is implemented to support the design process. The general-purpose expert system shell. ART-IM which is running under MS-DOS environment, is used to construct the knowledge-base. A set of rules has been extracted from the EN 60 335-1 that is British standard specification for the safety of household and similar electrical appliances. The main focus of this paper is on codes that have systematic and mormative structures. The internal structure of the safety standard is analysed to improve the process of rule extraction.

  • Due to the increasing use of very large databases, mining useful information and implicit knowledge from databases is evolving. However, most conventional data mining algorithms identify the relationship among features using binary values (TRUE/FALSE or 0/1) and find simple If-THEN rules at a single concept level. Therefore, implicit knowledge and causal relationships among features are commonly seen in real-world database and applications. In this paper, we thus introduce the mechanism of mining fuzzy association rules and constructing causal knowledge base form database. Acausal knowledge base construction algorithm based on Fuzzy Cognitive Map(FCM) and Srikant and Agrawal's association rule extraction method were proposed for extracting implicit causal knowledge from database. Fuzzy association rules are well suited for the thinking of human subjects and will help to increase the flexibility for supporting users in making decisions or designing the fuzzy systems. It integrates fuzzy set concept and causal knowledge-based data mining technologies to achieve this purpose. The proposed mechanism consists of three phases: First, adaptation of the fuzzy membership function to the database. Second, extraction of the fuzzy association rules using fuzzy input values. Third, building the causal knowledge base. A credit example is presented to illustrate a detailed process for finding the fuzzy association rules from a specified database, demonstration the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

  • 협력적 질의 응답은 질의와 데이터에 관한 지식을 이용해서 초기의 질의에 적절한 인접한 정보나 연관된 정보를 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 제시된 질의에 대한 정확한 검색 결과를 보여주지 못하는 경우에 협력적 질의 응답을 지원하기 위하여 지능적인 질의 응답 시스템을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 지능적인 질의 응답 시스템은 하이브리드 지식베이스(Hybrid Knowledge Base)를 이용하여 질의 완화 과정을 수행한다. 질의 완화에 사용되는 하이브리드 지식베이스는 구조적인 접근을 위하여 시멘틱 리스트와 규칙 기반의 지식베이스로 구성된다. 또한, 본 논문은 하이브리드 지식베이스를 기반으로 초기의 질의어를 이용하여 질의 재형성을 하기 위하여 질의 완화 알고리즘을 제안한다.

  • 복잡한 무결성 제약 조건을 효율적으로 확인하기 위해 제약 조건들을 룰 베이스(rule base)에 저장하고 별도의 룰 관리 시스템과 제약 조건 관리 시스템을 통해 제약 조건을 확인하는 기법이 많은 연구자들에 의해 연구되고 발표되었다. 그러나 제약 조건 관리 시스템이 실행시간에 응용 프로그램을 항상 모니터링하고 있다가 데이타의 수정이 요청될 때마다 개입하여 프로세스를 중단시키고 관련 제약 조건을 확인하는 기존의 방법들은 처리 시간의 지연을 피할 수 없다. 본 논문은 컴파일 시간에 제약 조건 확인 코드를 응용 프로그램에 미리 삽입할 것을 제안한다. 응용 프로그램 자체 내에 제약 조건 확인 코드가 삽입되기 때문에 실행 시간에 다른 시스템의 제어를 받지 않고 직접 제약 조건의 확인 및 데이타베이스의 접근이 가능해져서 처리 시간의 지연을 피할 수 있을 것이다. 이를 위해 어떤 구문이 제약 조건의 확인을 유발하는 지를 추적하였고, 컴파일러가 그러한 구문을 어떻게 전처리 과정에서 검색하는지 그리고 그러한 구문마다 어떻게 해당 제약 조건 확인 코드를 삽입할 수 있는 지를 객체지향1) 데이타베이스 언어인 Objectivity/C++에 대해 gcc의 YACC 코드를 변경함으로써 보여 주었다.Abstract To cope with the complexity of handling integrity constraints, numerous researchers have suggested to use a rule-based system, where integrity constraints are expressed as rules and stored in a rule base. A rule manager and an integrity constraint manager cooperate to check the integrity constraints efficiently. In this approach, however, the integrity constraint manager has to monitor the activity of an application program constantly to catch any database operation. For each database operation, it has to check relevant rules with the help of the rule manager, resulting in considerable delays in database access. We propose to insert the constraints checking code in the application program directly at compile time. With constraints checking code inserted, the application program can check integrity constraints by itself without the intervention of the integrity constraint manager. We investigate what kind of statements require the checking of constraints, show how the compiler can detect those statements, and show how constraints checking code can be inserted into the program, by modifying the GCC YACC file for Objectivity/C++, an object-oriented database programming language.

자율가변 구조의 신경망 모델을 이용한 구륜 이동 로봇의 위치 제어 (Position Control of Wheeled Mobile Robot using Self-Structured Neural Network Model)

  • 본 논문에서는 퍼지모델의 최적 입-출력 소속함수들(membership functions) 및 규칙기반(rulebase) 얻기 위한 자율가변구조의 신경망 알고리즘을 제안하였으며 구륜 이동 로봇(WMR : Wheeled Mobile Robot)의 위치, 속도 방향제어를 위한 퍼지-신경망 제어기 설계를 설계하였다. 제안된 알고리즘에서 입-출력 소속함수의 파라미터들을 찾기 위하여 유전알고리즘을 응용한다. 유전알고리즘에 의해 출력술어의 원소가 증가되며, 규칙기반이 원소의 증가에 의하여 조절된다. 새롭게 조절된 제어기는 출력술어의 증가를 수행하지 않은 제어기와 경쟁하며. 만약 새롭게 조절되어진 퍼지-신경망 제어기가 경쟁에서 진다면, 그 제어법칙은 소멸한다. 그 반대로 조절된 제어기가 생존한다면, 출력술어의 증가된 각 원소들 및 변화된 시스템의 규칙기반이 제어기에 적용된다. 출력술어 및 규칙의 조절이 완료된 후 입력소속함수들에 대한 탐색이 제약조건을 가지고 수행되며 입력소속함수들의 탐색이 완료된 후 출력소속함수의 미세 조정이 수행된다.

  • In recent years, many companies have heavily invested in introducing production informatization systems in order to strengthen the competitiveness and to satisfy consumer's desires in quickly changing market environment. However, it is not effective due to the lack of understanding of systems and of non-existence of an optimal system for each company. Therefore, in this paper, manufacturing companies were classified according to its properties; size of the firm, type of business, production method and job production. After that, a model has been built to calculate the production informatization level, and it has been applied to 450 companies. Results of 450 surveys would be the base for figuring out strategies of introducing the production informatization to the companies which are wishing to build production informatization systems. Finally, Developed in this paper rule base system refer customized guideline to company that wants to adapt production information system.

  • Urban transit is a complex system that is combined electrically and mechanically, it is necessary to construct maintenance system for securing safety accompanying high-speed driving and maintaining promptly. Expert system is a computer program which uses numerical or non-numerical domain-specific knowledge to solve problems. In this research, we intend to develop the expert system which diagnose failure causes quickly and display measures. For the development of expert system, standardization of failure code classification system and creation of BOM(Bill Of Materials) have been first performed. Through the analysis of failure history and maintenance manuals, knowledge base has been constructed. Also, for retrieving the procedure of failure diagnosis and repair linking with the knowledge base, we have built RBR(Rule Based Reasoning) engine by pattern matching technique and CBR(Case Based Reasoning) engine by similarity search method. This system has been developed based on web to maximize the accessibility.

Development of the Rule-based Smart Tourism Chatbot using Neo4J graph database

  • We have been developed the smart tourism app and the Instagram and YouTube contents to provide personalized tourism information and travel product information to individual tourists. In this paper, we develop a rule-based smart tourism chatbot with the khaiii (Kakao Hangul Analyzer III) morphological analyzer and Neo4J graph database. In the proposed chatbot system, we use a morpheme analyzer, a proper noun dictionary including tourist destination names, and a general noun dictionary including containing frequently used words in tourist information search to understand the intention of the user's question. The tourism knowledge base built using the Neo4J graph database provides adequate answers to tourists' questions. In this paper, the nodes of Neo4J are Area based on tourist destination address, Contents with property of tourist information, and Service including service attribute data frequently used for search. A Neo4J query is created based on the result of analyzing the intention of a tourist's question with the property of nodes and relationships in Neo4J database. An answer to the question is made by searching in the tourism knowledge base. In this paper, we create the tourism knowledge base using more than 1300 Jeju tourism information used in the smart tourism app. We plan to develop a multilingual smart tour chatbot using the named entity recognition (NER), intention classification using conditional random field(CRF), and transfer learning using the pretrained language models.
