A mobile Ad Hoc network is a dynamic mobile wireless network that can be formed without the need for any pre-existing wired or wireless infrastructure. A mobile ad hoc node has limited battery capacity. Hence, Ad Hoc routing protocol ought to be energy conservative. Previous energy aware routing has limit in fairness among nodes and network wide power consumption. In this research, we propose a new routing protocol called Clustering Based Energy-Aware Routing(CBEAR) which can improve the problems. Simulation results show that the routing protocol improves fairness and network wide power consumption as well as life time of nodes.

In this paper, it is necessary to study the bandwidth and network system for efficient image transmission in the current era of drone imaging, and to design routing protocols to round out and cluster two or more multi-drones. First, we want to construct an ad hoc network to control the multidrone. Several studies are underway for the clustering of drones. The aircraft ad hoc network (FANET) is an important foundation for this research. A number of routing protocols have been proposed to design a FANET, and these routing protocols show different performances in various situations and environments. The routing protocol used to design the FANET is tested using the routing protocol used in the existing mobile ad hoc network (MANET). Therefore, we will use MANET to simulate the routing protocol to be used in the FANET, helping to select the optimal routing protocol for future FANET design. Finally, this paper describes the routing protocols that are mainly used in MANET and suitable for FANET, and the performance comparison of routing protocols, which are mainly used in FANET design.
A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a collection of mobile nodes without any fixed infrastructure or my form of centralized administration such as access points and base stations. The ad hoc on-demand distance vector routing (AODV) protocol is an on-demand routing protocol for MANETs, which is one of the Internet-Drafts submitted to the Internet engineering task force (IETF) MANET working group. This paper proposes a new multipath routing protocol called maximally disjoint multipath AODV (MDAODV), which exploits maximally node- and link-disjoint paths and outperforms the conventional multipath protocol based on AODV as well as the basic AODV protocol. The key idea is to extend only route request (RREQ) message by adding source routing information and to make the destination node select two paths from multiple RREQs received for a predetermined time period. Compared to the conventional multipath routing protocol, the proposed MDAODV provides more reliable and robust routing paths and higher performance. It also makes the destination node determine the maximally node- and link-disjoint paths, reducing the overhead incurred at intermediate nodes. Our extensive simulation study shows that the proposed MDAODV outperforms the conventional multipath routing protocol based on AODV in terms of packet delivery ratio and average end-to-end delay, and reduces routing overhead.

An mobile ad hoc network(MANET) is a collection of wireless computers (nodes), communicating among themselves over multi-hop paths, without the help of any infrastructure such as base stations or access points. Prior research in MANET has generally studied the routing problem in a non-adversarial setting, assuming a trusted environment. In this paper, we design and evaluate the Secure Zone Routing Protocol(T-ZRP), a secure ad hoc network routing protocol is based on the design of the hash chain. In order to support use with nodes of limited CPU processing capability, and to guard against Denial-of-Service attacks in which an attacker attempts to cause other nodes to consume excess network bandwidth or processing time, we use efficient one-way hash functions and don't use asymmetric cryptographic operations in the protocol. Proposed algorithm can safely send to data through authentication mechanism and integrity about routing establishment.

Heterogeneous field sensor network between sensor to sensor is designed the CAN method to bus type structure in most using at industry. This Network is supporting a distance vector routing protocol on a characteristic structural a bus type. Also This network support to convert as making separate routing table in heterogeneous network. However distance vector routing protocol make a problem of decrease efficiency because of restriction of network expandability and low transmission process. We propose new CAN routing protocol to support network expandability and high transmission process of industry network. New CAN routing protocol structure addition priority and optional function field based on RIPv2. We established heterogeneous field sensor network, we measure data Throughput(bits/sec) for confirm new CAN routing protocol to increase efficient in industry.

In VANET, frequent movement of nodes causes dynamic changes of the network topology. Therefore the routing protocol, which is stable to effectively respond the changes of the network topology, is required. Moreover, the existing cluster-based routing protocol, that is the hybrid approach, has routing delay due to the frequent re-electing of the cluster header. In addition, the routing table of CBRP has only one hop distant neighbor nodes. PCBRP (Paired CBRP), proposed in this paper, ties two clusters in one pair of clusters to make longer radius. Then the pair of the cluster headers manages and operates corresponding member nodes. In the current CBRP, when the cluster header leaves the cluster the delay, due to the re-electing a header, should be occurred. However, in PCBRP, another cluster header of the paired cluster takes the role instead of the left cluster header. This means that this method reduces the routing delay. Concurrently, PCBRP reduces the delay when routing nodes in the paired cluster internally. Therefore PCBRP shows improved total delay of the network and improved performance due to the reduced routing overhead.
In this paper, we propose a multicast routing protocol for the seamless delivery of multicast data to mobile hosts through the optimal route in IP based mobile networks. The proposed multicast routing protocol is a hybrid method employing the merits of the bi-directional tunneling and the remote subscription by considering the mobility of mobile hosts. The proposed protocol satisfies the bound of end-to-end delay and supports the seamless handoff. The simulation results show that the proposed protocol has better performance in the number of multicast tree reconstruction and tunneling length and packet loss time than the previous protocols.

In mobile ad hoc networks, most of on demand routing protocols such as DSR and AODV do not deal with traffic load during the route discovery procedure. To achieve load balancing in networks, many protocols have been proposed. However, existing load balancing schemes do not consider the remaining available buffer size of the interface queue, which still results in buffer overflows by congestion in a certain node which has the least available buffer size in the route. To solve this problem, we propose a load balancing protocol called Dynamic Congestion Aware Routing Protocol (DCAR) which monitors the remaining buffer length of all nodes in routes and excludes a certain congested node during the route discovery procedure. We also propose two buffer threshold values to select an optimal route selection metric between the traffic load and the minimum hop count. Through simulation study, we compare DCAR with other on demand routing protocols and show that the proposed protocol is more efficient when a network is heavily loaded.
This paper proposes an adaptive routing protocol called ARCA for converged ad-hoc and cellular network (CACN). Due to the limitation of both bandwidth and transmission range in a cell, a mobile host (MH) may not be able to make a call during busy time. CACN offers a flexible traffic diversion mechanism that allows a MH to use the bandwidth in another cell to ease the congestion problem and increase the throughput in a cellular network. Based on the presentation of CACN's physical characteristics, the paper details the design issues and operation of the adaptive routing protocol for CACN (ARCA). Detailed numerical analysis is presented in terms of both route request rejection rate and routing overhead, which, along with the simulation results, have indicated the effectiveness and efficiency of the ARCA protocol.
In this paper we propose a new routing protocol, which takes residue energy of nodes into account in order to prevent node failures resulting from energy shortage. Our routing protocol examines the smallest value of node residue energy ($E_m$) from each of all possible routing paths and selects the path which has the largest value of $E_m$. We prove, through simulation, that our routing protocol extends the lifetime of nodes which have limited amount of energy, reducing chances of path replacement. It is also shown that our proposed protocol helps alleviate network performance degradation.
