A new standard white-pink flower rose cultivar 'Innocence' was bred from the cross between white standard cultivar 'Juvena' and green-white standard cultivar 'Green Success' at the Jeollanamdo Agricultural Research and Extension Services (JARES). The cross was made in 2001 and, 'Innocence' was finally selected in 2006 after investigating characteristics for three times from 2004 to 2006. 'Innocence' a white-pink standard cultivar has good flower shape with few prickles. The major characteristics of this cultivar were $118.7stems{\cdot}m^{-2}$ in year yield, 68.0 cm in length of cut flower, 10.9 cm in flower diameter, 34.4 in petal number, and 10.7 days in vase life. This cultivar can be propagated by both cutting and grafting. The consumer's preference of this cultivar was relatively higher than that of control cultivar, 'Rose Yumi'.

A new standard rose cultivar 'Noble Red' was bred by the cross between the pink standard cultivar 'Silba 87' and the red standard cultivar 'Bravo' at the National Institute of Horticultural and Herbal Science. The cross was made in 1999 and 'Noble Red' was finally selected in 2003 after investigating the characteristics such as flower Color, Fragrance, stem length, stem diameter, weight, and number of leaves for three years from 2001 to 2003. 'Noble Red', a red standard cultivar grows vigorously and has good flower shape. The major characteristics of this cultivar are $125stems/m^2/year$ in yield, 71.9 cm in length of cut flower, 6.0cm in flower diameter, 30.8 in petal number, and 9.2 days in vase life. This cultivar can be propagated by both cutting and grafting. The consumer's preference of this cultivar is relatively higher than that of control cultivar, 'Rote Rose'.

This experiment was carried out to investigate the effect of pretreatments and holding solutions on quality and vase life of cut 'Saphir' rose (Rosa hybrida L.). Pulsing with aluminum sulfate or NaOCl prolonged vase life held in HQS+sucrose+ethionine. Solution absorption held in distilled water were more increased than held in HQS+sucrose+ethionine. Holding solution with 8-hydroxyquinoline sulfate (HQS)+sucrose+ethionine increased fresh weight compared with distilled water except pulsing with STS+sucrose. Pulsing with aluminium sulfate delayed bent-neck held in HQS+sucrose+ethionine. Flower diameter and dry weight of petal held in HQS+sucrose+ethionine were more increased than held in distilled water except pulsing with STS+sucrose. There were no significance in Hunter color value 'L' and value 'a', but value 'b' was decreased held in distilled water.

A new standard rose cultivar "Peach Pudding" was bred from the cross between deep red standard cultivar 'Red Sandra' and light pink standard cultivar 'Dolores' at the National Horticulture Research Institute. The cross was made in 2000 and "Peach Pudding" was finally selected in 2006 after investigating characteristics for three years from 2002 to 2006. 'Peach Pudding', a pink standard cultivar has good flower shape and fashionable flower color. The major characteristics of this cultivar are 113.1 stems/$m^2$/year in yield, 60.6 cm in length of cut flower, 8.7 cm in flower diameter, 38.6 in petal number, and 12.8 days in vase life. This cultivar can be propagated by both cutting and grafting. The consumer's preference of this cultivar is relatively higher than that of control cultivar, 'New Miracle'.

A new standard rose cultivar 'Happy Day' was bred from the cross between pink standard cultivar 'Vivaldi' and pink standard cultivar 'Medeo' at the National Institute of Horticulture & Herbal Science. The first cross was in 2003 and 'Happy Day' was finally selected in 2008 after investigating characteristics for three years from 2006 to 2008. 'Happy Day', a pink standard cultivar grows vigorously and has powder mildew resistance. The major characteristics of this cultivar are $160stems\;m^{-2}$ per year in yield, 79.2 cm in length of cut flower, 9.9 cm in flower diameter, 28.8 in mean petal number, and 11.8 days in vase life. This cultivar can be propagated by both cutting and grafting. The consumers' preference of this cultivar is relatively higher than that of control cultivar, 'Nobleless'.

A new cultivar of Rosa hybrida 'Loving Heart' was developed by crossing Gyeongkyo R-6 and 'Noblesse' at Gumi Floricultural Experiment Station in 2002. Characteristics trials were conducted three times from 2004 to 2007. This cultivar showed dark pink flower color (RHS, Red-purple group 66-B) and standard type with good flower shape. The flower diameter is 10.3cm and the number of petals per flower is 55. Vase life of 'Loving Heart' could be as long as 12.3days. The yield of 'Loving Heart' was $127stems/m^2/year$. 'Loving Heart' has good quality of cut flower and strong vigor in plant growth. This cultivar has straight stems and is easy to culture because of a few prickles on the top of stem. This cultivar is appropriate for both soil and solution(hydroponics) cultures.

This cultivar can be propagated by both cutting and grafting. The consumer's preference of this cultivar was relatively higher than that of control cultivar, 'Noblesse'.

A new spray rose cultivar 'Morning Shine' was bred from the cross between light pink spray cultivar 'Charming' and white spray cultivar 'Princess' at the National Horticulture Research Institute. A cross was made in 2003 and 'Pink Bell' was finally selected in 2008 after investigating its characteristics for three years from 2006 to 2008 (UPOV standards). 'Pink Bell', a pink color standard cultivar grows vigorously and has a high yield. The major characteristics of this cultivar are $162stems/m^2/year$ in yield, 69.8 cm in length of cut flower, 10.4 cm in flower diameter, 44.5 in petal number per stem, and 12.0 days in vase life. This cultivar can be propagated by both cutting and grafting. The consumer's preference of this cultivar was relatively higher than that of control cultivar, 'Nobless'.
